Hey guys so today we're going to be doing a tutorial on bleaching. The knots of this 14-inch lace, front wig. I was doing it be doing a step-by-step process of bleaching, the knot so that the part will have a more natural look, and this is the end result of that. So, if you would like to see this stay tuned I'll, be right back, hey! It'S your girl, Malika aka, Miss magic. Like I said in the beginning, we will be bleaching the knots on this 14-inch lace. Wig, if you are new here, welcome, welcome. I hope you like my channel and if you like my channel, please subscribe and if you are returning welcome back. This is a tutorial on bleaching. The nights which this does is makes the parts and the hairline look way more natural. So I'm going to begin by showing you the wig on my head before I bleach the knots it's a nice way, but it is Wiggy and it needs the parts are not looking very natural, they're dark. So what we're gon na do is bleach, those not so that the parts can look more natural in like our own parts. This is a brown lace which makes it a lot better, but still the the knots need to be bleached. Your scalp is typically a white or beige, not white, but beige for us African Americans. So that's what we want to try to get that scalp. So what we're gon na do is begin like I said this is a 14 inch. This is the way it looks in the back. This is Brazilian. Eventually I am going to die this week. I'M gon na do blue streaks for my client, so let's get started. Okay, first guys you're going to need some VW 2, which is bleach Lightner. That'S what I use there are different kinds, but I like to use the Clairol BW 2. It typically lightens the hair. The way I like to enlighten next you're going to need 40 developer. You can get any kind of for the developer. A lot of companies sell it now, 40 or 30 will work, but I'd rather 40 tinting bowl to mix it with. I use a comb to the mix it and then you're going to need a brush to apply the bleach okay. So, let's start you're going to need two scoops leveled off of the bleach, so it comes with a scoop inside so to level off scoops of bleach. Okay, that's one into okay! Next, with that two scoops, usually four ounces of developer, maybe three to four what you're? Looking for you wanted to turn into a paste, you do not want it to be liquid, so I think I had two in there and I had to use a little bit more of another bottle, so you want to mix this together. You want you, don't want to start off with too much because, like I said you want this to be a paste, I think I want to put in too much in so I had to add a little bit more, but another trick is just to let it Sit for about five 10 20 minutes, because the longer the bleach sits, it thickens up into a paste by itself, and you need it to be a paste because you do not want it to seep through the knots and start dying. The actual weed you want it to sit on top of the lace, so once we get it to the consistency that we want, I think I'm going to let it sit, maybe for like 5-10 minutes after I do that, because I might have poured it a little Bit more developer but make sure it's like a paste, then you want to take your wig and turn it inside out and place it on a mannequin head. If you don't have a manicure as that's fine, but it's best to put it on a mannequin okay. So, there's that's the consistency that you want, where it's not falling off the comb or whatever you're placing it on the brush. Okay. So once the week is on the mannequin here, what you want to do is go from perimeter to perimeter ear to ear, and then you want to stop where that thick line of the wig is now you want to Pat the develop the bleach on. Not you don't want it to go too deep. You don't want to press too hard. You just want it to sit on top and that's why you wanted to uh. Develop birds be thick because you wanted to sit on top so that it will not see through and start dying the weed. So what i'm doing here, i'm going for perimeter perimeter? I am not putting it on the actual hairline yet because the baby here is are thinner and it'll, be easy year. Two guy that so and excuse me for the stick pans. You want to use ATP and we exceed pans. I could not find any, and I know I have a million and I needed to get this video done. So that's why I'm using thumbtacks so excuse me more professional will be TP, and so don't worry about that. Let'S worry about putting this diet on okay, and once you get that going from perimeter perimeter you're gon na, let that sit for 20 minutes 15 to 20 minutes. If you have 30 developers definitely 20 to 25, you can use 20 developer also, but that will take you about 45 minutes. I use 40 developers, I'm we talking about 15 to 20 minutes from ear to ear and then we're gon na come back after that and place it on the hairline. Okay, it's been 20 minutes so now we're going to take it and just dab it on the hairline and let that sit for 10 more minutes. You do not have to go all the way down where the lace is because we're gon na wind up cutting that off anyway, but you do want to cover the baby here and let that sit for 10 more minutes. Okay, let's once that's sad for 20 minutes, it's 30 minutes now, it's time to rinse it off. So, let's rinse it off with lukewarm to cool water, so make sure you get the whole thing. Water is what stops the chemical. The shampoo does not stop the chemical, but the shampoo ensures that all of the chemical is out water stops the chemical process. So once if it's all wet, I clip the bottom of my wig, because I do not want the whole week to get wet because it does have to dry because I'm going back into streak the weed, so I'm not actually washing the rig right now. I am just washing the bleach out, so, as you can see, you can see that it's lighter from the actual, and you can see the parts are more natural-looking now more like a human scalp. So now we're going to go ahead and shampoo that to make sure that we did get all of the dye out, so I'm just going over it lightly with a little shampoo. That'S awesome, shampoo and we're going to make sure all of that dies out. So, let's just wash it so I'm not really cannot conditioning it yet because, like I said I am NOT washing the weave yet I won't be washing the week until I actually streak the whole week, which will be in another video. I think I gave it another shampoo just for good measure yeah I did, and so, if that, like, I said that it would just doing the hairline right now, so I'm gon na rinse that out as well. Okay, guys once you are done washing, you can clearly see now we have a more realistic. Looking stout. Don'T worry if it looks a little reddish that will kind of balance yourself out once you get started drying and processing degrees, and you know doing everything you're gon na do to it. So that's the finished product now we're gon na put it back on our wig head and kind of part it out the way you want your hair to be or your clients hair to be so we're parting it out. She wears her part on the side. So I'm kind of giving her a side part because that's why you, how you gon na, let it dry at this point like if you were going to be finished here, that would be fine. You could put some setting lotion on it and then put a scarf around it or a neck strip and let it dry, but I'm not done, I still have to diet, but I'm still giving her her part. Because now I have to drive this hair so that I can begin streaking it. So what I'm doing now is is basically combing it so, like I said the way I want it to be with her natural part, and this is going to be the end of the video for believe she's given us, as you see very realistic scalp. This is the way a style usually looks. It did get a little bit brassy, but I'm not worried about that because I am about to guide that blue, but, as you can see way more natural once it dries that Scout part will look a little thicker. So don't worry about that, but, as you can see, she looks great. That is that definitely where my client wears her part. So now we are going to drive this to getting back to where it's supposed speak. Oh I'm gon na pull it back. The lace is still right there, so you can see the actual like hairline, where the baby ears are once it gets over here. You'Ll see, it'll, look just it'll melt and right into her scalp all right. So now I am just drying it and I'm going to show you what it looks like dry. Okay, guys, this is halfway dry. The scalp is all the way dry, which I want it, so I blow-dried the rest of it because I do need to start getting on dyeing the actual hair. I'M streaking it blue. So that's how it looks with one half blow-dry and then the next video I'm gon na, show you right now how it looks all the way blow dry, so the hair is fully dry now. So this is how the whole wig looks after bleaching, the knot yeah there's my little guy in the back he's wondering what the heck are you doing, but anyway, that's how the whole wig looks. The part looks very natural, so basically I could be done here, but I'm not I'm just halfway done. I just want to show you all what the part looks like there. It is all the way dry and I'm gon na give you guys a sneak peak of you could be done here, like I said, but I'm gon na give you guys a sneak peek. Oh when I actually streaked the head blue all right. This is the actual finished product and when I laid the scalp down you can see now it is definitely going to melt directly on her head. But if you would like to see this, video stay tuned and it'll be up tomorrow, but thank you guys for watching see you the next video bye
