Can I just point out again: I haven't done guys with another wig video wig tutorial, but I want to talk to you guys a little bit about hair, first of all how to choose her, how to get into wigs things that they just don't tell you about. Wigs so, first and foremost, wigs are expensive. Okay, hair in general is expensive. The first wig I ever had was one that I made and I bought here from Tiana Taylor's hair line. I bought three bundles and I paid something like 400 pounds for the bundles and I bought a new pop closure before I even knew what a new pop closure was. I just I saw something online. I thought it looked amazing. It had no not. There was nothing to bleach, it literally looked like it was coming out of a scalp, it was silk, pressed it looked like a fake scalp, so that was my introduction to fake start off, or you know realistic-looking her and that you pop close up was 200 pounds And you guys that was just normal hair, it wasn't cut, it wasn't styled, it wasn't colored, it was nothing. It was just plain natural, bundles and a you part closure, and I went on YouTube and tried to figure out how to make a wig, because I said to myself: I already spent six hundred pounds, that's not including customs and shipping and all that stuff, six hundred Pounds to get it from the u.s. to here, I'm not paying any more money for somebody to make this into a wig. I'M doing it myself. That was my introduction to wigs ever since then, I haven't really looked back. That wig. That I made was one of the best weeks I've ever had in my entire life that wig still looks brand new. In fact, it looks so good that I was able to give it to someone else and they wear it, and it looks amazing. I don't know if you guys have ever watched any documentaries on how your hair is so how they get the Malaysian the Peruvian, the indian remy. All of that. But I've watched quite a few and basically what an ethical process looks like is that they got and find these. Ladies and manufacturers will go out. Fine, ladies and their hair is usually super super long, all the way down to their knees, and they will cut off hard for maybe all of it and they will sell it for a reasonable price so that these ladies can go out and actually live their life From the money that they receive, like they get a good wage they are supposed to. However, not all companies do that in some of the documentaries and the research that I've done. I know that some Indian hair is sourced from religious events where women cut off their hair, I'm not too familiar with the rituals or the religious events. So I apologize if I say something that's incorrect, because I might have a little bit of ignorance on the matter, but from what I have seen right. They have these religious events where they sacrifice their hair, they sacrifice their beauty and that hair gets taken and it's sold to the Western market. As in giving me hair or whatever hair that you're gon na get and most times that hair is good-quality, 12, maybe even 16 years to grow to this length very very expensive, I mean a kilo of hair. This length would be easily 2500 dollars, but there is a practice, that's done, which is really bad where the hair hasn't been cut off of someone's head. It'S been taken from shedded hair from a solo or a shop yeah. It'S just not good quality here at always shredded head and that flew to me. Dead split ends all that kind of stuff and what they do. They pick it all up. They wash it process, it treat it with some chemicals make it look really amazing and wavy and nice, and then they package it and sell it off to you, and then you go off and buy this hair thinking that it's indian remy or thinking that it's peruvian Or whatever it is, and it looks good out of the box, but as soon as you wash it that hair becomes trash literally trash like the ends, you can see they're all split, they look, it just looks horrible and by the time you try to detangle it. It'S just a no amount of conditioner or anything would work on it because that hit is trash. I used to go to my local beauty shop. We have in London. That was my first introduction to weaves extensions. That sort of thing I used to braid my hair before that with just Molly. Here I also to make Molly hair look like you know. He looked like extensions and stuff. That'S before I check out those videos, then the down below, but that's for another time, but anyway back to the story, I would wear those weeds for like two weeks and by that time the hair had already started to matte. It started to get tangled in the back a staff to cut it out because it wasn't remy hair. It wasn't good quality hair, it was absolutely hair, but you couldn't sleep on because they would matte. It'S like the hairs got so tangled together and twisted that it ended up looking like a bird's nests and no amount of oil or gel or whatever it could straighten out those heads, and you know why that's happened because the hair was bad quality. It was cheap. I have also heard horror stories from people who sound like life and like the eggs in there in art, you pay 30 40 pounds for a bundle and in two weeks you can't even wash it or wear it again or anything like that. You have to buy new, so I'm just coming to pass along a little bit of wisdom to you guys on on hair and learn from my mistakes so that you guys get some good quality stuff. I will never bring you guys anything that I don't feel is good quality. I always check out the hair. What it looks like how it feels I wouldn't recommend something to you guys if I don't like it or if I would personally work myself, I wouldn't do it for money. I wouldn't do it to spoil my integrity, it just wouldn't happen. There was a lot of controversy when I brought out this hair Vivi wig right and I said that $ 400 was affordable, but what you guys have to understand is that $ 400 for good quality hair is pretty damn good like this has been cut. It'S been colored, it's been styled. The bleach of the knots has been done, the pot the partings have been done and plucked pre plucked for you guys it already had its baby hairs done. I have to do nothing to this week. It is not glued down, see that it's not glued down. I literally just pop it on and go. If you want that kind of styling, you want it to look realistic, then you have to pay for it. Oh, and also this is a celebrity hairstylist wig, which is why it cost three hundred and ninety nine dollars and ninety nine cents. For me personally, four hundred dollars on hair is affordable. I spend more than that on shoes, so that's the budget that I'm working, but I understand that that is not everybody's budget. Wigs can range anywhere from a hundred if it's on sale to thousands literally thousands of dollars: okay, okay, so that's just my little two cents on the mat. I'M moving on to second thing: how to pick your wigs! It depends on what you want. What kind of stuff you guys can watch a lot of YouTube, tutorials mine? There are loads of different youtubers out there as well, who do lots of different tutorials on wigs and weaves and how to choose them. I personally don't like my wigs to be super thick and full because I don't think that's realistic. Nobody has hair that is five. Six bundles big big hair, thick hair, full looking hair comes from adding volume to your hair. So the way you style it, the blow-drying method that you use this is about 150 % density, as you can see the more that I pull it up the more volume that it's already getting and I'm not styling, I'm just showing you that how how you can Get volume in hair right, so if you were to style this properly blow-dry it up, then it will get big and poofy. This hair is the one from hair VV that I showed you guys before and another issue that you guys had with. This was the wig cap and they're, not giving credit to a youtuber who you guys said, has perfected the face scalp method or invented the fake scalp. Nothing, I have to admit. I didn't know about this youtuber. I didn't know about her purse tiling or whatever my responsibility to you guys and to the brand, is to be a liaison between you and the brand and to let you guys know everything that the brand has told me and to be completely honest with you guys. While I was very honest with you guys and told you guys that the company said that they were making a pattern, which is what they told me, I can only give you information that relate to me right, and I give you guys all the information that I Have so you can make a decision for yourselves and you then give me feedback, which is great, because then that means that the company gets the feedback and they can then respond to you guys, which is what youtubers and influences are supposed to do. We are liaisons between you and a brand and your opinions and your voices get hurt. So here VB has heard you okay, they wouldn't me to introduce you guys to a whole new wig that they've come out with and they've also made this week more affordable. For you guys, but again, affordability is subjective, but I hope it will be affordable, more affordable for you guys. Alright, this is how it comes. They also give two clips their card and how to wash their hair, how to love the hair, how to love the girl and a Tony and guide comb. So this is what the hair looks like it's kind of like a natural bite. You can see. It'S got a little bit of shine to it. Little brown tones then not having bleach. This smells great by the way. The only thing that I would say is that I wish, when they pluck their hair and they're gon na put the fake scalp that they're putting it. I wish they would put it just a little further back I'll show you guys what I mean in a minute. So this is the hair band and it's a branded hair band as well, and it's cool because it has these little grips just like this week. It has these little grips in the back where you can adjust it like a bra strap. You can also remove them as well, so the way that is done is that they put a piece of material on the inside of the wig. That is flesh colored, whichever color that you want to choose that suits your skin tone, the most and then they've got lace over the wig okay. This is what it looks like. So it's very secure. Now, I'm gon na pop this on my head. Okay, you guys I've got the wig on. Can I just point out again that I haven't done anything to this hair right? You can tell what the hair is gon na be like by just touching it and playing with it and seeing how it falls and lands. They start the fake scalp really close. I would appreciate if there was a little more baby hair to work with, because my hair starts here, but the wig starts there. So I mean that's fine, like I can use my own baby hair to make baby hair. But still, if you want it to live flatter here, you can use the wheat combs. I don't use the wig combs of any weight, except for the one in the back, because I haven't anchor braids in the back, but I am NOT going to get traction alopecia anywhere. Oh come on, so I don't use them. Listen going back to things that people do not tell you when you get a wig, there are a few wigs that you can wear straight out of the box very few. If somebody says, oh, you don't believe them. Okay, they spent time behind the scenes preparing the way they're playing later. I'Ve gotten the method of putting on a wig in the morning down to 15 minutes exactly 15 minutes in the morning is all I need to get ready and put on my wig on go. Okay - and that's because of the method that I used to put on my wigs - and I showed you guys - but that's not how it goes - out-of-the-box out-of-the-box - you have to take the time to prepare the baby, hair, Sock'em, bleach and dual to make it look realistic. That'S gon na take at least an hour to two or three depending on. If you need to bleach knots or not okay, and can we also just take a moment to appreciate that a wig is a wig okay? It'S not your hair, a lace! Wig is not your real hair. If people get close to you, they're going to see that you have a lace, wig or no matter how many times you bleach the knots, no matter how much concealer you put in the middle, if you have a 4k camera like I do right now or if You have good eyesight. If you get close to someone, you are going to see that it has lace. I mean there are miracles in 2019, but Jesus don't work at the wig Factory baby. This is the only way that I have the only company that I know of so far that I can do that with all the other wigs that I have that just throwing I'm go. I have to put like a little bit of my hair out in the front to make it look more realistic or it's like a big poofy afro or it's a week that has bangs or something so you don't see forehead. You don't see tracks, you don't see. Anything like this is the only wig I'm just looking in the mirror. Sorry, this is the only one that I've got that stays back. Yes, I'm gon na go hard for hair Vivi. Okay, because I like the company, I like the brand man, the hair is good and it's just thinkin it. It'S speaking for itself no like come on. You can't tell me that this airs okay. Alright, I'm done I'm done, I'm done so. That was a little bit of what to look for when you're, when you're trying to shop for hair online. If it's too good to be true, the price will tell you, I would always say: go for a brand that has been reviewed by people. You know and trust and go for brands that are responsive like they actually work and listen to what you're saying and bring a response to you. Okay, that's what it is. Thank you guys for watching. I hope you enjoyed the video and I will see you guys in my next one bye,

꧁ ༒ Elviira ༒꧂: I'm Indian, and the hair some Indians sacrifice is a way of thanking God for their beautiful, long, silky hair. Basically an act of selflessness, and letting go of aesthetic pride.

Bukky Eniafe: Hey Raven, I've literally been watching you since you started this channel. I can't tell you how happy I am for you for your accomplishments. Thank you SO much for this video, the mistakes I've made since I've started wearing wigs, you wouldn't believe. I trust your judgement and opinion, so I am going to give this hair company a go. Keep going and striving girl!!!

Dr Kay Explains: I'm such a wig newbie, only just found out the difference between a closure and a frontal, but its eye opening to find out what happens behind the back of the consumer. Thanks Raven for this video!

Joss Angeles: You will always be one of my favorite influencers your approach is practical and realistic. I too do not like high density wigs because it looks too crazy. Thanks for suggestions in this video.

ShazzyJ ShazzyJ: Thanks for always being honest - this video was very informative. BTW congratulations on getting nominated by Cosmopolitan UK for best influence of the year. It's great to see you being recognised for all the hard work you do.

Kiki jean: I really enjoy your videos. The issue I’ve encountered is these brands will often send the utubers a diff quality of wig. That is very disheartening to those whi take the leap to purchase No fault of influencers as they are reviewing on their experience and the wig they received.,.Prior to investing my coins I will listen to a influencer then search for utubers w small followings who have actually bought their wig themselves. I will add this company to my list to research and consider to purchase from.

shaquille steinback: I've only every worn synthetic wigs. Idk something about wearing hair that was attached to another human just seems a bit creepy to me. Who knows what kinda weird spiritual vibes were attached to that person

XOLitPixie: I guess people will keep judging my little $25 to $89 wigs I love her wigs though! She is right some of those wigs do last a long time too when you pay more

Marlee December Vlogs: OMG, I watched those documentaries earlier this year and I actually cried. It’s one of the very reasons I don’t buy human hair. If I do decide to wear a wig .....I buy synthetic and call it a day. Synthetic wigs don’t bother me because I only wear wigs in the winter months to protect my hair from the elements. Summer months I do wash and gos or protective styling with braids or twists. 5a k you for sharing your very informative wig video with us.

Sharon Browne: The wig you made was gorgeous! Inspiration...I'm going to make one myself now.

Ezekwem Akunna: I got this unit it was delivered within a week or less after ordering. Its very soft and feels like excellent quality. And thanks so much for your informative video❤

Looks By Naheemah: I've never worn wigs but yours always slay! Love your channel and girl I started my own channel!!! I think I'm gonna start doing hair videos because I love watching your so much

User Not Found: That hair looks so good on you but wigs are so hard to maintain there’s more cons than pros to it in my opinion but I appreciate this video a lot

oriel octave: I never dreamed I would be someone who is excited to get a notification for a YouTube video ! Love raven even more because of the “Lucian connection” we even have friends in common !!!!! keep going lovely !! X

Angel Reney: Thank You for all the info. It gives me alot to think about before I will purchase a wig.

Sunny Kenfack: "Jesus don't work at the wig factory"

Mo n: I am not getting traction alopecia for any one -lol but so true! Sometimes we forget the best thing to do is to vary our hair styles and not put pressure on an area repeatedly

BellahBea: Thanks for this video Raven. I'm trying to find other outlets other than Ali Express (have made 3 wig/hair purchases from them so far. 1 got sent back , even though it was lovely. But the other 2 purchases........). Anyways, this is another Co' I'd forgotten about, and will now add to my 'Look List'. It'll be a while before I'll be able to purchase a wig from them, but like you said, GOOD H.H wigs are not cheap!! I'd love to see more 'Truth & Tell' review videos like this, from other Co' and brands you've purchased from, as you're one of the influencers who keeps it 100% ligit and cares about what we're buying to put on our heads.

amoryll36: Raven you look Sooo good Still a wig virgin. This 'real talk' is very useful

REMDELACREM HAIR: Hey Raven, the hair scraps that are collected from shedding and salons are non Remy hair. That is the cheap hair that they sell for next to nothing. They coat it with acid so it looks smooth initially but after some time the hair will tangle and matt uncontrollably! All hair will eventually tangle if not taken care of but with the non Remy hair will tangle with little manipulation and no amount of combing and conditioning will rectify the issue. As you said you will have a birds nest at the end of the day with that type of hair‍♀️ What you need is Remy, Virgin hair or Raw hair but this hair is extremely expensive.x

Jasmin Smith: I love Hairvivi wigs, all my purchases are perfect.

Kiara White: I learned the hard way of making wigs.‍♀️☺️Great video btw.

Lauryne Amanda: Watching this as I put on my wig. ❤️

Zoe Saldana: Keep inspiring me to create ❤️

Zeta Velez: A mí la pelucas me encantan, me parece maravilloso.

Tamara Edwards: Beautiful. Joy wigs hair company also has wigs that you can where straight out of the box and it's more affordable. I love love love Joy wigs. I hope that you can try wigs from this company and give a review especially the Kim inspired blunt unit...i absolutely adore that wig.

Heartbeats Awaking: I'm here for Raven love your girl

metrini: IM such a newbie with wigs I only just bought my first wig LOL waiting for it to arrive

ify: I totally agree and it’s true I bout 2 wigs from hair vivi it’s like my birthday hairit’s too good to wear to gym or everyday hmm I’m saving up to buy another

BiggerThanMyself7: I need to get one of those wigs from that company thanks for this video

pas4466: I’m glad that someone can talk logically on wigs.. lmao the Jesus joke made me laugh hard

Tali Uili: Girl you are so Beautiful!! Love your wigs!

Juliette Akinwole: First comment!! I’ve been watching you since 2017 and I’m just so happy to see you progress throughout the years. Love you!!

Bedtime stories for Imbeciles: WAIT. Am I seeing things or is there a diamond ring on her finger?! Ps I just found your channel and I LOVE it. You’re awesome

Nandie: 1000$ for wigs ? hah not me

Amsatou Cisse: Toujours présente pour ma youtoubeuse préférée

Latecea Galbearth: one of the black beauty supply stores here in Colorado springs is expensive and it is not worth the price their hair is horrible they're expensive and when you buy a wig from out of there it's like WTF did you have a child put this together

vibewit me: Sis you are slaying you look so beautiful

vycford3: Is was great. Thanks for sharing all the details.

T M: The hair is thin that’s the only thing I don’t like about it, making it look cheaper overtime

Childress Giles: Jesus don't work at the wig factory "LOL" Love it ! :-)

Lil Zuplada: Your wigs look so simple sand natural. And also not too complicated

The Blank pages: OMG I feel so needy cause I wint you to make another video I love all of your content Thank you for talking about this.

sbostic08: How do you prevent the got 2 b gel/ or spray from glueing down the baby hairs in front. No matter what I do it happens. I try to loosen it with water but I'm risking lifting the lace

Introvert Connection: Omg. I have never seen a wig with flesh tone material. Love

Priscillia Carter: Great information ❤

Caroline Denise Joyner: Thanks for sharing

Kayanna Lloyd: Jesus don't work in the wig factory OMG laughed so hard

zala anderson: thank you soo much buying it righttt now

Che Erin: Theres nun wrong if u wanna wear wigs but I never got into this craze I cannot go through this process every day or have it glued to my head for 2 weeks and they hot and itchy I need to touch my scalp and wigs look like wigs every time not sorry they do‍♀️

Lynn Esther Ermano: I really enjoyed this video

Black anime characters: Am i the only kid who watches this? love the wigs!❤

Paula Zak: Thank you very much!

Patricia Calvete: I don't wear wigs anymore but I love your lipstick! What lipstick is it please?

Iyana Vee: Lol " fake scalp " is literally a silk top . They need to stop acting like it didn't already exist . And honestly I don't care where my hair comes from, as long as it works. Lol love you still tho Raven !

Sonika: Good hair by Chris Rock is what turn my mind off from weaves and made me go natural plus it's too much work!! But for anyone that can make it work for them kudos

JasmineSkyy: I like the wig but wish it had a bit more texture

Hope Melody: How I admire this one here

twayna thomas: Peep the ring. Anyway some wigs have synthetic hair mixed in with the real hair and I saw somewhere that some hair has poop on the hair, don't remember exactly where I saw it so it's important to wash the hair before you use it or just be mindful of the vendors you get your hair from.

Elyse: I've been trying to get into wigs for a while. What is your opinion on sleeping in a wig? I've been getting mixed reviews...

Savvystyle18: Did I love that hair on you ❤️

Geo Q: I like the one you are wearing? Did you buy from Hairvivi (what model is it?) or you coloured it? Also model #, what exactly is the new one you are showing in the video?

Barbie 305: What color lace did you choose?

deborah anderson: Hi there, I've been scammed too! just bought a wig from a prominent Youtuber, not mentioning their name, the wig looks nothing like hers did...200 and some change!

Ms Temptation: Cheap women buy cheap wigs without regards to why the wig is cheap or how the human hair was obtained. I think that if the human hair came from cadavers they would still buy them without a care. My sister in-law, on my husband's side, is a wig maker. She doesn't do low end and she knows exactly where the hair she uses comes from. Her clientele list has a lot of heavy hitters on it both black and white. None of her wigs are under 2500. She offered to make me one, but I passed because I don't care for wigs. The irony is that neither does she.

Riana Anaïs: It's decent but you coudnt even pull it back if you wanted because of the sides. THat is how my hair vivi wig wears too. not true about them being the only out of the box brand either. That and the way they stole that idea from a BLACK youtube and did not bother to collab with her or brand a line after her and share the wealth shows me they care more about money than anything.

meli meli: Hot price wigs 10! $ off look trouble now I weak lol

Mila A. Ballentine: Hi Raven. That's right, he don't work there. #RealTalk

Ahviwe: That wig

African Princess Rams: My girl is back with a bang. This an informative vlog. You look all colors of flames. ?That ring girl. xoxoxoooo

Krystel: New sub

PETTYPODCAST: The only sis i come to for wigs

Foodwith Fashion: Daaam thanks for the info

Donna-Kay's vlog DK: I love this wig...... how can I get one to buy

Giselle Joseph: Wow i have 2 synthetic wigs an they are hot to wear i rather a pony tail

Ten Ways To Wear It: I just can’t deal with wigs like that. Too much work. Too impactful on my edges. Just no for me. I deal with clip ins, synthetic half-wigs and bundles.

UnicornQueen: Yay! So early! Love from Carmel, Indiana.

Sonya Thomas: omg didn't know this. Thanks

nicole edmeads: You did a video on Eullair hair a gorgeous wig for £85.00 that u recommended

Guardian- 4D 5D 6D 7D: You have great personality and not to mention Beautiful. However Wearing another person's hair . I have seen documentary about how people get hair from dead people from graves- freaked me out

Natalia Perry: Is that a light cap?

TheHerbalPsychic: I'm surprised you're just finding out.

Maria min: Well i hope the arnt shaving the head of dead people.... sometimes if i think too hard about it i become paranoid and unwilling to wear my wigs.... brrrrrb....i have goosebumps thinking about it

OneTruthInc: Hello I am trying to find hair that doesn't come from India temples? How can I research this?

Anastasia Ilunga: #NotificationGang

Esther Sowell: Hairvivi sent me a defective wig I had to fight to get my money back I will never purchase from them ever I still have the wig can't wear it I paid over $200.00

Sam: Where’s Rumi? It’s been so long since he’s showed up

Bayley Jackson: Ew

Mercy: I didn't get what she said about wig combs

Caroline njiraini: 'Hair is expensive' errmm dont really matter you are rich n you never have give aways for hair

LIFEwithNATH: The hair looks stiff...but like the video

The_ Koo: Natani Sheitels is 100% American hair and they only source from America. A bit pricy, but it’s full length, no shorties, etc. And every wig is different because it’s different hair, so you’ll never have a wig like someone else

Love Lee: LOL a wig is A wig!!

Barnum ingrid: Yah but that ring tho

Megan .M: I like u
