* Make Your Synthetic Wig Less Shiny * Wig Tip Tutorial

Stupid hello, everyone: this is dark carnival today, i'm gon na show you how i managed to make a cheap synthetic wig, look less shiny, looking! Imagine it after hours of research, you finally find it the perfect wig for your next cosplay, the perfect style, the perfect length, the perfect color. The reviews are good, you purchase it and when you receive it, you realize there's only one little problem. The wig is too shiny. This is sadly something that can happen when buying wigs from shops that are not necessarily specialized in good quality wigs. Luckily, there is several ways to make up for this situation, and i'm gon na show you one of them in this video. So this is the wig that i'm planning to use for my estela cosplay from cruella. As you can see, it is not really that bad for a cheap wig from wish, but of course the shininess is mainly what makes it look cheap. So now, before you rush to the bathroom to seek for the bottle of baby powder and risk making a complete mess, let me teach you a technique that is pretty similar to baby powder, but that is less messy, still reversible and more controllable. All you're gon na need is a comb and some dry shampoo. Here, i'm going to use the battist dry shampoo, and this is the cherry scented one. You can pretty much use any of those variety. They all work. Just fine. Now there exists some other variety like brilliant blonde, beautiful, brunette and divine dark that are tinted to match blonde hair or brown hair. I don't recommend using those unless your wig is golden blonde brown or dark brown, obviously, because otherwise it would definitely alter the color of your wig and it's not a really good idea in this case. So you can use those occasionally but you're, always safer with the regular one or the scented ones and, of course feel free to experiment and try out other brands of dry shampoo and see which one you prefer or which one works best for you. First thing: you're gon na do is comb your wig and make sure to detangle it real good. After that, you're gon na take your can of dry shampoo, give it a good shake and spray it evenly all over the wig. Use your other hand to lift up the layers of the wig to make sure the dry shampoo covers all the hair. You don't need to apply too much, but you want to make sure you're not missing any spot when this is done brush off the excess of dry shampoo from the hair. With your this way, the excess of white residue in your wig is gon na, be more evenly spread and just like the baby powder, does it's gon na help reducing the glossy and shiny aspect of the hair, the rest of the dry shampoo that stays in the Wig will end up being almost invisible. However, the more dry shampoo you apply, the more you're gon na have to brush it to obtain a nice and even result - and this is the final result. This is not the complete perfect solution, but, as you can see, you can still manage to obtain a decent result from a cheaper wig. So this was the video for today.
