Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so today is going to be kind of an experiment, slash first impressions, slash scary kind of because I'm going to be trying something today that I have never tried in my entire life and I'm not gon na lie. I am super scared and super nervous, and I don't even know why, but today we were going to be trying out a wig. Yes, we're gon na be trying a wig. Today we are going to be trying out the full lace wigs by irresistible me. They sent me one and I am pretty scared. I'Ve never worn a wig before not even a Halloween wig. So this is all new to me and it is a front lace wig one. So it's supposed to be one of like the most natural looking kind of wigs out there, but yeah, so I'm gon na be showing you how I apply it, how I style it and how I part it things like that, and the reason why I'm so nervous Is because you know, obviously it's supposed to look natural and me, I've never like experimented with wigs before I've, never done anything like that in my entire life. So I am a little bit nervous because I don't know how it's gon na look on me. I don't know if it'll look absolutely silly. I don't know if I'll be able to pull it off, but yeah I'm going to record it for you guys, so you guys can kind of see as well. This is the wig that I got. It is a synthetic hair wig. It just looks like this. It is 20 inches long and it is in the color rosewood. So it's in this really kind of nice, deep red kind of almost like Ariel, like color, so it just looks like this, and the reason why I chose this color is because I've always wanted red hair. I had a red hair for awhile, but it just never. The color just never took to my hair very well, so it just didn't really work out for me, so I got a wig in this color so that way I could have it and it won't fade on me. I got this in 20 inches long, so it is pretty long. You can use heat on it, so you can curl it and all that sort of stuff. There is a way to move the part like here's, the part of the wig. So there is a way to kind of move that, depending on where you lie, you know your part on yourself personally and also this is in 100 % in density. They had either 100 or 150. I think I think those are the two and I chose 100 because I feel like 150 would be too much hair for my, you know for my head size, and this is pretty thick like it's a pretty thick wig, so I'm really glad I went with 100 And not 150, so yeah here is kind of just what like an up-close view of the wig looks like it just looks like that. So, like I said you can use heat on it. I think you could get away with using color on this as well. Like I said, it's really thick really soft. The ends, look pretty pretty good, so the only thing there is to do now is to see if I can get it to actually work on my head and with me. So here's what the inside looks like. So here you have the front part of the lace which we're going to be cutting off and then on the inside. You have the clips and then the little clips here as well to kind of go on your hair and on the very bottom here, there's like a little strap to adjust here head size and then another clip there to make it really secure. And then you just have more lace. So this thing just kind of goes around your head and you kind of secure it, so it stays in place all day long. I looked up a few like a little bit of information on full lace, wigs and how to apply them. So I'm say I'm an expert. Definitely not I'm just really nervous, because I honestly don't know what it's gon na look like. Like. I don't know if it's gon na look super stupid and fake. I don't know if it'll actually look good and I don't know if the color will look good, so this isn't like a how-to. This is literally like watching me. Try to put on a wig - and I wanted to film it because I like to show you guys everything that I do yeah without further ado: let's go ahead and try to put on this little this cute little wig. Let'S do it okay, so the very first thing is obviously I'm just brushing through my hair, just to get rid of any tangles that I may have, because when I take my hair out of the wig, I don't want it to we not as mess. So I'm just doing that first and next I want to be turning on my hair straightener, because I'm going to be trying to part my hair differently and you're gon na see me burn myself in 3. 2. 1. Oh, it just normally ranch burger, not super making her out. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god. Oh my god knees that hurt god. I could talk fast, so that was fun. The next thing that I did is I'm going to be using a hair net that was provided to me kind of looks like fishnet, but that's what I'm going to be using. I would recommend using maybe a nude one instead, because research, just what I've done a nude one, makes the part look more natural rather than having a black one. So just something I would recommend, but basically I just gon na turn my hair. On top of my head and just talk to all my hair in the hair net, making sure it was flat as possible and just making sure I had no visible hair peeking out from underneath the net because we want to be making it seem like the wig. Is our real hair? So, as you can see me doing here, I'm just kind of tucking it all up in there but at the same time making sure it's flush with my head. So I don't have any awkward bumps when I apply at the wig, and Here I am looking all cute in my little wig cap. The next thing I'm doing is I'm just taking the wig out of the box and I'm just giving it a really nice brush through. So we don't have any tangles and then, as you can see here, this is what the lace looks like on the wig and we actually don't need that. So I'm just taking some really small scissors and very very carefully. I'M cutting the lace all around the wave, making sure that I'm not catching any of the hair, I'm trying to cut as close to the hairline as possible, but not going too far to the point where I'm ruining the wig or cutting the hair in any way. So just be very, very careful and pay attention, and when you're done, you should just have a really long piece of lace that you do not need. Okay, so after that, here is what the front part of the wave looks like and here's the back all adjusted to my head. So next I'm just going to very simply starting from the back just pop the wig on like this, and then it is time to secure all of the clips in place. So, starting with the back clips and moving on to the front clips as well, making sure they are totally secure and the best thing to do is to move the wig up to your natural hairline. So it looks possible making sure you have the wig cap and everything covered and then after that is time to style. If you are someone who is very skilled with hair, you can give a haircut that you want this part I kind of struggled with, because I didn't want a middle part. I wanted a part off to the right side of my head and I just could not get the hair to stay over to the right side of the head. If any of you have any experience with this feel free to leave me some tips down below onto how to make it, you know stay parted this way and also how to make it look a little more natural. I know you can apply concealer or foundation in the part to make it look more natural, but if anyone has any pointers, go ahead, and let me now next, I'm going to be curling this just to see how curls that take to it and see what it Looks like, but for those of you who want to see it straight, this is what it looks like straight. I pretty much look like. I just came out of the Little Mermaid. It really doesn't look as bad as I thought it would and if any of you are interested, I will have a link and a coupon code down in the description box before you and of course I had to take a couple selfies because well duh. So I'm just giving myself a few loose curls just around the wig, just to see what it looks like. I really don't think it looks that bad. I think it actually looks pretty cool and the hair did curl really well. I would not curl or use heat on it any higher than 300. I just feel like that would ruin the hair, so don't do anything too crazy, hot and if you want, you know a lot more thicker, curls or more spirally than take smaller sections. But after I finish curling, this is what the entire wig and finish look look like. I really actually liked it. I was really really impressed with how it turned out, and my favorite look to do is to wear a beanie with it, so you can either wear just a beanie like this, which looks really really cute and kind of like hipster. Almost I really like this look. I think it looks super cool or you can just wear a regular, different, beanie or hat something like that. But yeah here is what the completed Finnish wig looks like on my head. I was actually pretty impressed with how natural it looked. It even looks really great from the back.
