Hey everybody welcome back to towson's wig closet at wig studio one today, i'm introducing a brand new style for 2021 by ellen villa this one is called link. It'S in the color pastel rose rooted. If you're, considering this style, there's a few things, you don't want to miss in this review. Coming up wig studio one sent this wig for review so that we can try it before you buy it and give you all the information that you are going to want to know about this. This style, um, all of the links are listed below the video. If you expand the description box, it will all be there for you. We invite you to shop at wig studio one. If you have any questions for us, you can reach out to support wigstudio1.com. So link is a cute little asymmetrical, textured, pixie style cut. It has some cute fringe lots of layers. Let'S get up close on this color, this pastel rose rooted. I think this color is extremely beautiful and appropriate for mainstream everyday wear. It starts with the pearl platinum, so it's just a really nice brilliant platinum. To begin with, and then i see two tones of pink or rose so i see a very light: pink rose, color and then more of a darker raspberry. Now it's very very light. There'S just whisper of color coming through this, so you really can't sit and say that looks like a pink wig. It doesn't. It looks like a platinum wig, with just a hint of pink now the best part about this, and what sets it apart from other fashion. Shades similar to this in the market is the fact that it has a dark blonde root or a light brown that rooting is done so well, it's ash in tone. It'S lighter in tone than most other rooting that you see on colors like this, and the transition is impeccable. You see it just kind of gradually come out instead of an abrupt line. It'S very soft and very natural. Looking i compared this to the bubblegum r by noriko: that's another cute one! It'S a silvery color, with lots of pink with whispers of pink coming through it, but that root is super dark and it's very stark against that the silver in that color. So i think this is done. Perf to perfection just really enhances the beauty of any of the styles that i see it applied to link is a heat resistant style. So i really think this is a beautiful length to have in a heat resistant fiber like this. It gives a nice realistic touch without um without experiencing excessive friction and things on your collars. It doesn't drag the clothing, so the dimensions again. This is an asymmetrical kind of a cut. So, on that right, side, you're going to experience about a five and a half inch fringe, okay, and that comes just below the hollow of my cheek. If you know your measurement from hairline to chin, i'm about six and a half inches there and then on the left side right around 1.75 inches coming off of the side there. It gives a really cute asymmetrical. Look now in the back. There is supposed to be a six inch crown now, i'm not seeing that off of the the very back here i imagine they're, taking that crown measurement from a little farther up on the crown, because that layering there does appear to be about six inches directly. On top of the crown, but in the back there's multiple layers and that tapers down into about a 1.75 inch nape now that sounds like a really short nape, but i think it does an amazing job of covering up any natural hair line in the back. The nape stays put and it kind of sweeps around the ear for good coverage around that ear. So here is the big thing you want to know. That'S not consistent with the manufacturer's description of this style. There is no lace front as you would expect. So it's not temple to temple, it does not run the whole length of the front. All you have here is a monofilament lace, part that runs all the way out to the hairline. There'S no seam and i'll show you a look at the underside of the cap. Here in a moment, but taking a look, it's it's impeccably done it's gorgeous, but it only runs from about here to here, so you can really only part it there. On that left hand side if you want to get the illusion of a natural hair line right there, but the lace, monofilament lace looks beautiful all the way back to the crown and it's seamless so you're not getting a seam between the lace at the front and Then the monofilament lace at the back, okay, now you're - probably not going to want to style it too far away from the face all throughout the the front, because you're going to run into a seam. That'S where the lace meets the cap right there. So you just want to be aware of that and there's on the other side. Okay, so what monofilament lace? That'S there is very beautiful. It'S very well done. The knots are very fine. Of course the rooting is impeccable, so it does have an outstanding look. I'M not sure why ellen villa is kind of getting i'm not going to say they're getting away from the full lace fronts. But what you'll see a lot with them are little micro lace, fronts um with little mono crowns or something like this, where you're not getting that full lace. So i don't know if it's a cost effective measure on the part of ellen villa or, if that's just what they think is desirable. Now i will say that sometimes those little micro lace fronts don't lay exactly flat. There'S not enough lace to really get any kind of traction on your forehead. Now on this one, there is there's enough lace there that it lays flat to the forehead and does look very natural. I can see you really really enjoying the style if you know what you're getting and if you like styles, like ellen villa's disc, which is also an asymmetrical disc, is almost identical to this in terms of uh specs. However, a disc does not feature a heat resistant. Fiber - and it has a little bit of a different monofilament part to it - um, but they're, very, very similar. So if you like disc, but there's a color in link that you like, i think you would really love this um thinking of another style, um perry by estetica. That'S a very popular one. Kind of an asymmetrical texture cut like this and perry, has a full lace front and left monofilament part it's not heat friendly, but it is very similar. So that's kind of along the same vein of styles that if you appreciate and enjoy them, i think you will absolutely love link. So i explained that this fiber is of the heat resistant variety. I think it gives a nice realistic, feel and look. It moves very nice, although this one is highly texturized, so you're not getting a lot of movement, but it is a nice wispy, feathery type, fiber that if the wind does happen to catch it or something it does move very naturally, and i think the fiber is Lined up and layered in a way throughout the sides and back that you're not going to get any lift with a gentle breeze or something that would reveal wefts in the back. There is a very mild amount of permatease, so you'll get a little bit around that lit monofilament lace, a little bit on the top a little bit here at the crown uh just i can't really detect any kind of thick pillowy permatease anywhere on this style. This is a very light density, low, permatease style. Here'S an inside look at the cap for ellen villa's link. So i want to bring your attention to this monofilament lace, part here um. So that looks like the mouth of that is right around one and a half to two inches. It comes right out to the front as if it were a lace front. Technically it is a lace front, because there's lace at the front. You just want to know that it does not extend beyond that one and a half to two inch parting space and that lace runs all the way back to the crown. It'S very nicely done: there's no seam there, and then you have some velvet covered seams at the front. I feel like the lace should have come out a little bit farther, because the edge of that cap is visible from the front. There is a closed velvet covered ear, tap, very soft, but sturdy and good coverage, open wefted sides and back velcro style dust adjusters. Now what you need to know about this is that if you are a die, hard ellen villa fan, because you have that petite average circumference this cap ran really large on me, you'll notice. I had to crisscross the adjusters just to get a secure fit on this cap. I don't know if that's an anomaly, if that's a one-off situation or if they are increasing the size of their caps overall um. That is still a mystery, so i have no way of measuring for a large circumference styling for link. I think you can get some different looks out of this, although you're kind of restricted to that parting space i'll show you some ways to kind of get around that if you want to do something a little bit different. One thing that i'm not going to demonstrate here, but would be a great way, um to really accent. The texture here is just by giving it a squirt of water and just kind of scrunching it in all over that will really bring out the texture of it. If you want to use a little bit of a texturizing spray like a sea salt spray, i think jon renau has one. I think estetica has one um. That might also give you a lot of texture and also a little bit of hold. So, let's try with glasses. I know this is going to be great with glasses, of course, there's very light density. It looks fantastic, so i've got some sunglasses here. This works well with any kind of glasses, very comfortable and secure thanks for joining me today. For a look at the new lake style by ellen villa for 2021, we will see you next time on tiles wig closet at wig studio, one. You

The Indecisive Wig Wearer: This is one of the wigs I’ve been considering for the Summer. I have Disc and Evan. Thank you for this wonderful review. I wish they hadn’t made that cap so big because that exactly why I like EW so much!

Sheila Keilty: Cute pixie. Reminds me of the JR Evan in a lot of ways! Had a RW Ready for Takeoff (I think?) that has the same small lace front area, and it was totally sufficient to style beautifully. Thanks for the review! ❤

Louise Marriott: I LOVE your videos! They've helped me to decide between a few wigs. Oftentimes I'll find 4 or 5 wigs that I can't decide between and I can't spent hundreds and hundreds on purchasing a few at once to find one that I like. Seeing wigs being styled in different ways (with and without a fringe, smoothed out, roughed a little, parted a little differently if possible) really helps! Thank you so much for your reviews xx

*ARI~CHAN*: Omg you're pixie wig looks really cute and so gorgeous

Linda Anglisano: Love the color, hope it comes in other styles as well. Everything looks fab on you!

Karen Fox: I’m considering a short style for the first time. I usually wear mid length styles (like Sweet Talk). I like the Pastel Rose color and the Link style. I’m curious as to what is your favorite short style?

Gloria Lagroon: This one is so cute on you Taz! Love the color as well. Thank you for this review. ☘

Sandra G. McAlister: Super cute style and color. So many cute styles and wigs to choose from! Really cute on you, Taz! Thanks for the review!!

Soozi LaSarge: This one looks absolutely gorgeous on you!!! Love it ❤️

Mitzi Council: Hey Taz! I am in love with this style and color!! The question I have for you is about the rest of the cap, in general. When you cinched in the circumference, was the rest of it "baggy" on your head? Big everywhere, like ear to ear or baggy in the crown?

Take Control Beauty: Hi TAZ This color looks fabulous with ur shirt color !! The colors in this wig are gorgeous! Love the rooting color!! You look adorable in this pixie cut ! You can pull any style off ! It's a Stunning wig and you would NEVER know it's a wig ! Love ur style options ! Hugs Babs

Patty Carosi: Very cute Taz! I always like a pixie wig they are good for a quick run out the door style. I am thinking of getting Noriko Kate right now. Loved your review on this piece. Another great review. Thank you for all the video's you do Taz they help so much.

Jennifer S: Very cute on you!!! Love how you paired the eyeshadow and your top to bring out the color of the wig. Fantastic!!!!

Suz: I love this one Taz, the style and colour are beautiful, out of my price range but I really like it! I still Billie by Noriko too! .....Looking beautiful my friend, hugs xoxo

Kathleen Beauchemin: Oh Taz, I’m in love! She reminds me of Raquel Welch Advanced French and she was the first wig in my wig journey that I absolutely loved! I know Advanced French has a full lace front but the way you are wearing this is the way I wear it anyway. Just a question, are her fibers as course as the Raquel Welch . I have 4 Advanced French is a couple of shades and it seems as though after wearing a few times they tend to look like rat nests... but is soak them in Balsam and it helps a bit as does adding a bit of the silk silicon mist. Thanks for the great review and for showing the different styles! Have a great day❤️

robin fineman: Love it. I've been driving my beau 'mad'. I now have lots of styles and there are a few I hate on me. I told him I'm going to paint them.LOL Painting is one of my hobbies. I have many braclets-modern funk' but not over the top. I was going to sell them but I can't get that part of my brain to work. I'll send them to you and do what you want. I'm not looking for any $ pay it forward is my motto.

Jean Jacobs: She's so cute, Taz! And I love the color. Love and blessings ❤

A Sou: This a a cute style and reminds me of the Jett by Estetica I have. I am going to give it a try and hope that the cap isn't too big.

Pamela Prescott: You look adorable in that pixie Taz. I love all the layers it has in it, that is a good cut. Rooting is really good. Back in the hospital hopefully I get to go home tomorrow been here since Sunday been in a week. Love you God bless keep up the good work❤

Mint: Hi Taz, so current and cute. Too bad your cheekbones don’t come with! This color is lovely. Thanks for showing a variety of beautiful wigs. Love, Sharon

Half Rutter: Love this one! The cut and color are beautiful. It looks great on you, Taz, but I need more length. I don’t look good in a pixie.

Dee Marie: Great review as always Taz. I was wondering if it is as bulky as the Disc wig? I find that one to be way too thick and permateased for me but I do love the style?

lil poohbear: LOVE Link!!! Thanks Taz...think I am gonna for for the lavender rooted on her

blue car joy Haven: Sweet look ✨

The Faux Blond: Wowww looks gorgeous and love the colour of your top too

Margaret Tassey: Love the inflection on "perhaps they think this is desirable". It is a cute pixie and would work if you don't mind all that hair in your face. Too bad about the size. As a petite, I always look to see how much you have to cinch in the straps. Holy Cow!

Michele Simpson: Reminds me of my favorite of all time Heather Rene of Paris. Love this color with your top. Really pretty.

Twyla 2: Taz-this one is so you!!! Feminine, fast-forward, and fabulous. Really makes you eyes pop. I expect you to sprout fairy wings and flutter away.

Lynda Ryan: Thank you for your videos I love this wig!

blue car joy Haven: Sorta reminds me of Jett .I bought in lilac haze for my daughter.✨❣️

Billie Fox: I like this color and my problem with the fun fashion colors are on a dark root. I have a very fair complexion and a natural redhead. I think I could wear this one though.

Valerie Noyes: I wish I'd have waited for your review before I purchased this wig and then had to return it. The style is so cute but the claim of a lace front is totally misleading. It reminded me of JR Evan but with the addition of a mono part (or so I thought). A really good lace front is my #1 criteria so I was extremely disappointed. It looks adorable on you and if it had been as claimed I'd have been happy with it.

Miryana Curcic: Far out Taz, that is one cute wig, your top is a beautiful lilac too, they go nice together.

BoniW: Another beautiful wig And review. Gorgeous. Thank you Taz.

Shelley9090: Would love to know what brand/style those sunglasses are? I love those! BTW, I bought the same Readers as you when you had the code and they're GREAT! Thank you.

kk doc: Yay again! (regarding roots). Lol. I really like the style, just wondering if there is a sister wig with more hair in back that has some curl like tressallure’s Charlotte. Want a Charlotte with a mono part and a front style like this.

Kaye Carter Mature Woman Daily Dose: Another great review. Sending hugs prayers and kindness with a smile.

Deborah329: Beautiful!

Fondue2go: Lovely wig and excellent review, as usual. Can you tell me what the pink/peach bob style wig on the mannequin labelled B is?

Jarmom: PINK! YES! This is sooo ME! I hope this1 isn't too expensive. I NEED IT! .................................. PS- you are just stunning! U remind me of ME -haha ,, years ago of course

Bonnie Owens: Love it on you!

Gail Shumway: I love this wig! I love the shirt and color too! Can you tell us where you got the shirt please? :)

Cheryl Frazier: Taz can you do a wig review, on wig B, it is so cute .

Tina Bedrick: This wig is very similar looking to Advanced French by Raquel Welch. Are they as close as they look?

Amy Rutherford-Close: Good morning- A blessed Sunday -Love you in a pixie

10TOES: Really like this new color.

NEREA MONREAL: Juste fan-tas-tique !

geanne payne: The top of the wig is cute. The rest is absolutely to short for me.

Silhouette Mania: How to style this wig like yours? I like it!

bakerlady1000: Does this come in other colors?

Candy Chand: Sooooooo cute on you!

Seattle's My Home: I was hoping this was a gray.... Sad. Is there a white with this kind of style anywhere? That and I'm borderline large cap. My hair is falling out like craaazy.

Sherri Pilarczyk: I love your channel, but wish you would show more brunette shades. I don’t feel there are many companies who offer good brown shades.

Tzofiya Harris: What is B behind you in the red❤️shes so pretty!

Michelle Diekman: Just Lovely! You are always So Beautiful

Karla Pinkman: I won’t this wig today

Phil Donahue: In your audience wig K. It is a little long but it has my attention. Can tou give me more info? I am a cancer patient and need to our purchase a wig. I am enjoying your knowledge. Thank you .

Tamara Richard: I know you don’t want people using your videos that’s why you have your name all over it..but it detracts from looking at the wigs...

Mehul Jain: Sorry but the wigs you wear don't look realistic at all.
