Hey everybody welcome back to toss away closet at week Studio One. Today I have a week review for you, a brand new style by workouts for spring 2020, one of the three that are available in that new collection. This one is called unfiltered and because I purchased this from WIC studio, one with my own funds, I was sure to get it in my very favorite blonde, which is RL 1923 ss shaded biscuit be sure to follow the links below for all of the colors available. On this new style, as well as all of the other raquel wealth styles, this review isn't that to be a fresh out of the box review, including an unboxing coming up recognizing that so many of you are looking forward to some reviews on a new style before You make a purchase, I'm going to go ahead and take this fresh out of the box for you, this is Raquel Welch's part of Raquel Welch's, signature collection. That means that it's so one of their premium selections that usually has a full monofilament top lace features and so forth even hand. Tight caps are included in this collection. They use the memory cap 3, which is the ultra premium collection, we'll go through that in a minute, but take a look at this style. I'M really anticipating this style. That'S why I made the purchase because I feel like this is probably right up my alley. A shorter length, loose wavy, curl, very modern, and look at that color shaded biscuit it's very dimensional, a very dimensional blond. I actually like that better than I do the RL a 1723 SS. It seems to have a little bit more dimension and it's more dynamic. So let's go ahead and take a look at this cap, so you'll see that temple to Temple lace-front, it does run extended back into the ear tab, a seam that divides that into the monofilament top a single monofilament top. There is soft and pliable open wefted sides and back on this one closed velvet, ear tab and then a velvet nape with velcro adjusters and notice. There'S some silicon on the on the wedding's there and that just makes it for a nice secure, comfortable and even customized feel on the fit okay. So now it's time for me to apply the style fresh out of the box, okay, so right away! I know that this is cap is going to be large on me at a twenty one and a quarter inch circumference, so I will have to make some adjustments to get a secure fit. I'M also going to have to change that part around a little bit there. In the front, just so that it doesn't hang in my face, while I'm trying to do the review, so I just took a couple of minutes time out here to go ahead and remove the tags shook it out real good. I worked that part. According to my taste, so typically I like to part mine just left of center, nothing too wide of a part, because then that leaves a large curtain bang on one side that tends to swoop in and into my face. So I like parting, it just left of center and then I use the heat from my hand to develop a little bit of cuff a little more contour off of that lace front. Now these front pieces are about ten inches, so there is a lot of length there around the face that stretches about three inches below my chin. So in the back, though, you're gon na find a nine inch crown and that meets up with a three and a half inch nape. Now that does create a little bit of an angle, so you've got that nine inch crown three-and-a-half inch neck about a six inch layer here on the sides, and then that goes down into a ten inch front. So there is a bit of an angular cut here. Now what I love about this is that the nape is so practical because it stays well above the collar, which is wonderful for a longevity for these heat friendly fibers. I also love how it's a little bit beveled in the back, so you've got a little bit of stacking, just a wee bit of stacking and the nape actually, naturally just curls out of a little bit it hugs the nape and curls out. I'M gon na go ahead and take off this jacket. I'M gon na go outside here in a moment, and it's really cold today, so I'll take the jacket off so that I can show you all the way around so see how that nape is actually curls up a little. So I think that's cute. I think it delivers some amazing coverage back there and gives a nice little choppy texture. So I filters is just so unstructured, so messy so bohemian. This is totally unlike anything. I'Ve seen from Raquel Welch Raquel Welch is usually a little more conservative, a little more sophisticated in their styling um. So I really love the edginess of this style. It kind of fits my personality a little better. This is a part of the Signature Collection which includes that full temple to Temple extended lace, front and single monofilament top the lace front is done impeccably, as I would expect from this brand. I mean they even do a great job with all the sewing and the splicing of fiber into that hair line. It'S just impeccable and then no matter where you part it on the top you're going to see the illusion of scalp. So I do have some bright sunshine coming in the window this morning, and so I'm gon na put up some clips of this color we've all seen shaded biscuit before this particular one is super beautiful. It has a lot more platinum around the face than what I have seen before. So here's an in-depth look at shaded biscuit RL 1923, as it appears on the style unfiltered by Raquel Welch. You can see all of this dimension, so the base color here appears to be like a sandy, a light sandy brown. There seems to be some honey mixed in and then it's very heavily highlighted with an ash blonde and some platinum that really lightens and brightens. It um the route on this. One is well done. It'S a medium brown root. It doesn't appear to two starkly dark against some of these lighter pieces. So, let's drill down on this style. So it's basically a was a straight bob style cut and then it's kind of sprinkled with these choppy tapered waves. So it's just sprinkled. On top with this choppy tapered waves, there's a lot of under wave to it, meaning there's a lot of body to the to the fiber, underneath that gives it structure in form and then you've got these bohemian type pieces. All the way around a little bit of separate separation in the back, it almost looks like a little shaggy cut in the back. I think this is going to be excellent for summer and I may even consider ordering this in another color. So what other thing is that I've noticed is that if you're not a big fan of these very long front pieces, they could easily be trimmed. You could actually make this into more of a same length, all the way around shorter bob style cut. Now, what I think I'm going to do is take a like a hot air brush and sort of smooth out and around on these longer front pieces, because what they're like they're, very stringy - and that just goes with the consistency of this texture, they're, tapered and separated. But it does come across a little bit, stringy here in the front. So if you took a like a hot air brush and just made them a little more cohesive, I think I would probably like that effect. Quite a bit. These fibers are a more fine than I'm used to coming out of that Raquel Welch true-to-life fiber collection that just seemed to be a little more fine, which gives way to a lot of flyaways. I mean I was just fluffing this a little bit as I was working the front a little, and I just saw all these flyaways now the weather is very dry and cold right now that may change as the humidity returns and along with some warmer weather, but They do seem to be fine and like a style like bell tress, even with the finer fibers they're, very realistic, they're, much like human hair and they're, not at all shiny, but you will suffer with some flyaways. I simply just gave it a squirt of water and kind of scrunched it in and let it dry and actually that's gon na bring out the texture even more so the density is just an average density on this style. It weighs about 3.75. Ounces is just an average nice realistic amount of hair fiber on this, and you will find some permit ease now. The permit ease is located in the very same spots as you would find it in on the editors pick all around that mono top crown and back none of the name. That nape is meant to be a little bit of a slimmer profile, and then you will find it heavy right there at the temple. Now, while we're comparing this to something like the editor's pick, I don't feel there's as much permit ease on this sample piece that I have as compared to all the other. Editors picks that I have. The editors picks seem to have to be a little more heavy on the permit ease. So I think this is very well done, just propping it up in all the right places, making it full in all the right places without overdoing it. So I think what I'd love to start doing is sort of comparing the style right out of the box like it is to the manufacturers photos. So what struck me different from what the manufacturer's photos suggested? The manufacturers photos kind of suggested that it wasn't as flyaway. It wasn't as PC as this it, as this really is it's very messy, and if you want a really sort of sophisticated put together, look like it suggests in the photos. I think you're going to need some product to kind of hold these waves together. To achieve that look, so let's talk about some styling for unfiltered now, right out of the box. You'Re absolutely gon na have to love this texture because it really wants to return to this texture, no matter what you do with it. Now it is heat friendly. We talked about maybe using a hot airbrush or something to make a little bit of a softer curl, especially around those front pieces, but this really meant isn't meant to be unstructured, very bohemian and very PC. Let'S try to here with glasses. First, okay: I have a little bit of a chunkier arm on those glasses and you know they fit very nicely between the ear and the ear tab. So I think, with this style I mean I don't think, there's enough length in the back to get any kind of ponytail or updo, but you can always make it because of these really longer sides. You can just really fake an updo by just putting some pins in pulling it up and away, or on top lot you can do there. I think I'll focus on bringing the hair away from the face to show off the beautiful hairline as well as sort of experimenting with that parting space. Thanks. So much for joining me today for a look at a brand new style for spring 2020 by Raquel Welch, and this one is called unfiltered in the color. Shaded biscuit see you next time on Taz's wood closet at week Studio One

Thank you so much for this review!!!! XOXO Mar

Margaret Tassey: Looks fabulous on you! I really like the inset technique and the quick look at the out-of-the-box version before you made your changes. No need to linger, but does let newer wig wearers know that you have to play with them. Straight out of the box is not likely to look good, even on Taz. Thanks for the information.

You should have been a model I swear:) Love ya Barb

Bunnie Jorgenson: Taz, this is darling and I like the color a lot. Thanks for showing this wig, you always look adorable!

SugarPuffAndFluff: Hi darling, I just reviewed this one in Iced latte macchiato, lovely wig but I still prefer Shaded biscuit. I actually like the fly-aways as it makes it look even more natural, my own hair has fly-aways lol. This one looks really good on you xoxo

Helen Bovay: I always love your styling tips!

Jan 2020: I ordered this wig before you did this review. I like the suggestions that you have for the wig and it is a beautiful wig in person. The new cool color for brunettes are to die for.

Vicky Thompson: I just got Unfiltered today! I took the plunge and got shaded cappuccino instead of my usual shaded biscuit. I'm not sure if its blonde enough for me after seeing this video. So much for expanding my color horizons. :/ And I agree....its much more piecy/messy than the stock photos. Thanks Taz! Absolutely love your reviews! Always so helpful. XO

❤elanie(melanie: OMG Taz, not in a million years would I have considered this wig from the manufacturers photo, Seeing it on you made it come alive, presents itself as so much more desirable. As always you look stunning, but thank you for the real deal! Oh Lordy, its Caliente& Unfiltered on my must have new stay safe GB ❤elanie

Michele KT: WOW! RW does it again! Gorgeous! This may become as popular as Editor's Pick!

Nicki James: Lovely wig, it really suits you I’m sure if I ordered it, I would find more hair on it, as this usually happens with my wigs x

Shelly Maxwell: I can't decide which is more gorgeous...YOU or the WIG!! LOVE IT ON YOU

Suz: Another fab review, this is a stunner of a wig, I love it, the colour and style are gorgeous, going by the manufarturers picture, I don't like it, to flat (for me) but the way you have worked it is absolutely my style, you really suit this one Taz, but then again, there is nothing you don't suit! :) I am in awe of your beauty girl, big hugs from me across the pond....Susan xoxo

Crystal C: Did you ever have a wig that didn't look good on you? For years I watch you and not one is a fail - you can rock anything!

Beverley Smith: I just decided to buy Unfiltered, helped a lot by your review. Got it in silver. Love your reviews. And they are quality./

Tamela Nelson: Oh I love this one Taz! Summertime cuteness!

Lori Ru: This is beautiful. I’m giving up on my favorite brand, Raquel Welch. They simply refuse to offer large cap in any new styles. It’s so disappointing.

DeDe Millikan: Omg why have I missed this wig? Looks so cute.... my next one, so cute on u Taz

Sarah W.: I really love this! Looks great on you!

Patinkular: I agree with Stacy and others- “this wig is you”

mary allen: Taz, I have to get Unfiltered!! It looks absolutely fab-u-lous on you, of course, what doesn’t??!! I agree that the Hot Brush could help it... Have a wonderful weekend. Enjoy! Love you, Mary ❤️❤️❤️

Miss Pethamhouse: Thanks so much for the review!! Love it on you! I just ordered one for myself. Hoping it will look like a messy, shorter-style of Simmer. Just adore the fun, wavy look.

RedAlex: I like the un sculptured front pieces. Makes it different and appealing to a certain market.

Kimberly Evenson: Okay - I had to stop this video before you even took the wig out of the box to say you look AMAZING in your own hair!!!!!! Holy cow, woman! Then again, I don't think there's a single hairstyle that would look bad on you. Maybe dreadlocks. Hahaha You have inspired me to make my first wig purchase - Avalon by Estetica. I am anxiously waiting for it to arrive. I had breast cancer in 2019 and while I did not have to go through chemotherapy, I did have the girls removed completely without reconstruction which has left me feeling self-conscious. Though no chemo was needed, I was on hormone medication that messed with my once lovely full head of hair - it started thinning so badly and became very brittle. So, thanks to YOU, I am taking the plunge. Mid 40's is not the age where I am ready to 'give up'... All that being said, I've spent many days in lock down watching your videos and am so thankful you make these videos. You make me smile. Be well.

Amy Woodworth: I love this!! I like them a little longer but this is so cute!!

Tammy Henderson: Love this wig and your glasses. Thanks for sharing your enthusiasm!

Rebecca: I had to start the video all over again because I was enjoying your beauty without any wig on. You truly are stunning!

GeorgiaPeach 1970: I just read your story of your hair loss journey. Thank u for your candidness and compassion. I could hardly believe when u said u were in your forties. When I first came across your video from a few years back reviewing Editor's Pick I honestly guessed u to be in your early 30's! You're just as lovely w/your pixie haircut too. You're not a natural blonde? You certainly wear those colors beautifully. I believe I will order Editors Pick tomorrow. I'm leaning toward cappuccino.

Daisee Gray: Love your videos this look is great love the messy look

Anna Rebecca: So believable! Some of your wigs such as Editor's Pick or Sweet Talk are so BIG they just look like wigs. This one has the same feel without being fake looking. Love it on you!!

Jackie Marsh: Love The Pattern and Color!! You Look Beautiful in This One Taz!! Thank You For a Perfect Review as Always Friend!! Love! XOXOXO!

Valli S: Very you! I saw the color Shaded Ice Latte Macchiato (17/23SS) on this style and it would probably be fabulous on you. Thanks for the comparisons. It's a huge help.

Pamela Prescott: This is so you! sweet and sexy great for spring and summer ,everyday use . Many styling options.Love the color of course. Have a wonderful day our "Princess Taz. "

Jamie Norton: I love it! I would have to do some work on it, but super natural and current look.

Susan Buckley: Wow! This looks so great on you! I don’t think it would suit my face but do I wish it would! I’d like something shorter like Ellen Wille Wish but it’s too expensive ($1480 -gulp...) so I’ll have to wait until something similar comes out in a synthetic wig.

Joyce Mayo: Taz, you are the only person/model that looks and can wear anything, and always look gorgeous.

Cheryl The Pearl: Totally your style and color Taz. I saw one other review by sugar fluff and puff (luv her) and was already thinking of purchasing this wig. Just not sure the color yet. Thanks for the discount and for sharing. Wish we had some snow here in Md.

BernsauerJagd: Hi Taz, have a question regarding 'Unfiltered' - how would you compare it to 'Flirt Alert' ? Do the two styles have the same amount of fullness (permatese) in the crown and on the sides? It looks as if 'Flirt Alert' has more defined curls and 'Unfiltered' is wavy/ more unstructured? Maybe a more casual version of "Flirt Alert'? 'Unfiltered' looks great on you and Thank you for the great review, as always!!!!

Cheryl The Pearl: Recd my RW Unfiltered today in shaded biscuit. I really like it. I need to work with it some on the part area as you did. Also I have a petite head. A little under average and the back middle of the wig seems really puffy and feels almost stretched out. I tightened the back tabs some at the nap so maybe that is pulling. Anyway I will work with it. Curious if you felt that too on yours? My other RW wigs aren’t like that. Take care.

D W: So pretty Taz wow! May order this one♥️ #thankyou

Lady Luvely Locks: I love the hair isn’t perfect looking! Way more realistic. And while I do like that the lighter hair color is as the front, the fact that there is that blonde strip and then immediate dark rooting looks unnatural. If only it blended! Even just a wee bit!

Rebecca: I truly appreciate your videos . You are a professional spokesperson. Given your background in home loans , ( if that is not enough to do these days), ect, with the gift of sales. However, you really believe in the product you are representing , wear the product you are selling, and feel passionate enough to expose your soft underbelly of hair loss to encourage gals like me to be brave to expose ourselves, too! You have been given a gift to help people with hair loss. Like I said, I saw you standing straight up , NO WIG, with beautiful short , silver hair! Wow! Then you become playful! Placing that gorgeous wig on your own head to describe how it feels, ups and downs. My dream would be to schedule an appointment in your , " salon of hair " to have you conclude my best looks!

Swiss Miss: I work at a public school, this looks too glam and full for that type of setting , would love to see it tamed a bit though. Appreciate your review!

ShirleySWEETEE: BEAUTIFUL Taz! You ❤ and the wig!

angie flowe: These wigs look so good on you!!! I ordered this wig and it did not look natural on me at all

Jean Jacobs: Greetings! She is really pretty on you, Taz. The unstructured look is enhanced by the different colors in the wave, don't you think? Blessings!!

Lynn McKenzie: I am so curious as to how you get it to fluff up so much, I just got one and shook it hard at least 3 different times and it's still flat and slick! I love this wig and want it to look a little more like yours. Any tips?

anita endzinshall: You just look good in all of them x

D. Dee 2003: I love this wig!

Sean Mock: RW new spring wigs are so expensive. I love ready for take off but out of my league. Love this wig on you.

Olivia Burnett: Love, love, love this hair beautiful !!!!

Jennifer Lawrence: Your reviews are the best. Now I just need to narrow it down. I want most of them.

Kenda Hackworth: It is absolutely gorgeous on you. What straight style is similar to this one that you could switch back and forth with?

Lynette 72: This is adorable! I'm new to wigs. do you know what color in RW line that is like Jon Renau 14/26/S10? I would love to order this one! thank you for the great review!

Linda Dundee: Well you sold me I just ordered mine. I don’t care what you have on your head you look so beautiful and so fantastic. You have a wonderful Spirit about you. Thanks again for doing an outstanding and wonderful fun video

Donna Kelli: Taz, this Raquel wig is another masterpiece..I’m ordering it in shaded biscuit as soon as I’m done with this message. I’ve worn Upstage, Editors pick and Bigtime but Upstage has been my “Look”..in the summer I sometimes go with straight up with a twist for a shorter look. I love the videos and always pick up tips for caring for my wig collection. Thank you for being here..Be safe DonnaKelli

Jane Monroe: I absolutely love this. Do you know if there is a color in RW that is similar ti JR shaded prailines and cream. I want to order this!

reiney parham: You look beautiful in this style!!

margrietsmit6: How much larger can this wig be adjusted? I'm new to wig shopping, but I already love your videos!

Karen Johnson: Great video. Shaded Biscuit RL19/23SSis my favorite color also. Do you know if Jon Renau makes a similar color? Or any other brand?

D Miss me: Great review! Can this go undetected and pass as real?? New to wigs but work at Nordstrom and need to pass off as real

Maggie Minnich: Taz, what happens with these beachy-type wigs when you come through and just let it go? Do they work themselves back into their piecy look again?

Karen Grass: Love it immediately!

Sonia J: Wow! Love this one!!!

Kelly Peters: Absolutely love it

Cathy Woodill: How Adorable is this one

MissDemeena: Wow, this is beautiful. I wish I could put you on slo mo when you do the styling tips....I'm not as experienced as you xx

maria griffin: Love it !!

angela searls: I like the lose waves of this wig and the coloring

GetReady4LiftOff: A beauty of a style.

Brenda Simmons: Beautimus! It’s just so “you”! Thanks for sharing!!

MichelePearl: Lovely! In your opinion is the cap size larger than Flirt Alert? I had Free Time which ran Large but Simmer, Flirt Alert and Crowd Pleaser all fit better on me as they run more on the Petite Average side?

Nathalie Bleau: Taz, how do you make a larger wig fit on a smaller head? I love this wig but I'm nervous it won't fit well. I'm a 21" head... do you wear a wig grip? Thanks much!

Sonya Trevino: Hi Taz, much like everything else, I love this one on you. I do have a question, can you tell me what the two longer wigs are on the bottom shelf on the opposite side from where the tote is please?
