Hey Career Girls! Welcome to #itsagoldenlifestyle. Enjoy this video in HD! Today I'm chatting about this goddess locs wig by sleek braid wig based in Nigeria!

More information: The seller does not have a website. She uses Instagram and Whatsapp for contact. Fyi, she is slow to respond because of the influx of business and the time difference so just be aware of that and give her a day or 2 to respond back. Actual shipping from the time I received my tracking number to delivery at my door was 7 business days. The normal price of this wig is around $160

Application tips: This wig was secured using Bold Hold Extreme Cream Active however, I like the original formula better. I also use Got2Be Glued Gel in the yellow packaging and Got2B Glued Gel Freeze Spray more often for my wigs because its gel and comes off with water. The freeze spray is the most important of the 2 products.

goddess locs wig review, goddess locs, lace front goddess loc wigs, sleek braid wig

Y'All see this fire on my head. I know you do if you want to see how I put this week together and see where I got it from make sure you guys stay tuned, hey career girls, welcome back to it's a golden lifestyle, I'm so glad you're. Here, as per usual, if you've been here before welcome back, and if this is your first time here, thank you for clicking on my video, if you're enjoying my content and don't forget to hit that subscribe button like this video and comment down below. So I know the thumbnail shows me with this glorious glow: it's got its LOC wig, which is what I'm getting into today. This is just a temporary, so I can do this intro and I don't look like a chicken head on Here. I am, I just want to come on here and show you guys the wig before I start actually going and applying it on my head. I want to show you what it looks like and tell you about how I found this place and what you can expect with shipping. This is from sleek brave, wigs on Instagram. I will place the image on one of these sides of my head and it was shipped to me in DHL. I actually ordered this wig on Black Friday and I found it because um gosh, I should remember her name, but this girl - that I follow on Instagram. Again, I'm always falling somebody on instagram and they're inspiring me to purchase something, but this girl in Instagram. I think her name is Taylor Made I'm saying this girl, like she's, probably like a big deal um, but anyway, her name is Taylor Made she had this beautiful corn roll like wig, and it was like a high bun thing and I thought it was so bomb. So that intrigued me to click on sleep break wigs page and from there I just kind of went down the rabbit hole in their page and came across this beautiful goddess. Loc wig and I love locks I'll, put up a picture here with me in some of the locks that I've done myself. Crochet locks, I've done individual locks, I've done it three times and every time I do it, it rips my edges out and it's because I already have very thin edges so then going and putting more tension on them, whether it's a corn roll with a thing on It with with the crochet on it or I go, and you know do it myself with a Kanekalon hair, I'm causing tension on my edges and my hair always falls out and makes me sad because I absolutely love the way I look in goddess locks. It makes me feel like I'm in touch with like my homeland, and I don't know I just feel like myself with locks, but I just can't commit to the full thing. So I purchased this goddess, lock wig, it was on sale. I paid. I think I pay like a hundred and seventy something dollars. It was like 130, then shipping to California from Nigeria, which is where this is from. Yes, it is from Nigeria that was like 37 dollars. Something like that. So I ended up paying a little less than $ 200 to get this wig and it's fire. So let me just get into it: okay, okay, so it came in the DHL bag and I opened the DHL bag and I was like okay, okay and then, when I open that this bag was in it. So I was like I mean that's like, but you know what whatever, like, I'm supporting the motherland, I'm supporting my people, I'm always purchasing from China, and I want to do something different and oh, no. China came trying to in a braid wig. I don't know I don't know, guy had to prove me wrong anyway. Are you ready? Are you ready? I know anticipation. This is the wig checking on myself. This is the wig y'all. Oh, my god, like they did that ton, and I'm saying this off of my initial review. I have not tried this wig on. I haven't had it on for a week, so I can give you like a three week update. No, this is just my initial review. My initial review is they did that like look at this, I wanted one be 27 or 227 whatever I ordered, I wanted 27 on the bottom. I wanted some blonde on the bottom and it is so pretty anyway. So just upon looking at it like, I love that the lace that they use, the actual lace is kind of hard and it is, it does have big circles on it. Let me get up and close it here, so you can see you can see the circles on it, but I love the color of the lace that they used. So I'm gon na have an easier time trying to blend this into my skin and then I'm looking. I probably will also on top of doing the ballcap method, which you guys will see me do. I probably will also put some makeup inside of here just to get rid of those black dots, because I hate that - and I feel like that's just like that's the dead giveaway when you're wearing a week. So another good thing about this is that they put baby hair on it, so that you can kind of disguise that line that uh line of demarkation between your scalp and your forehead. So they did put babies here, baby hairs on here, but I don't want to do like overload with the baby here. So this is definitely gon na. Be a challenge for me because I have never done a braid way before I've never done a LOC week before, but I'm determined so I'm gon na. Let you guys follow along with me, as I put it on and then I'll come back at the end and give you guys my final thoughts. Okay, so I struggled with the tabs on the side because, usually when you do like a wig, you can cut the sides off if they don't fit around your ears like if there's extra you just cut it off, but with this I feel like I couldn't cut It off because then the braid pattern at the edge what it looks really really really weird, so I just put some more bold: hold their active cream on like the tabs, the size of my ear and I've had this on my head for about 20 to 30 Minutes so I'm gon na take it off right now be where you're probably gon na see some dry glue, because I brought it up a little bit higher on my forehead, then I thought I would so you're gon na see some dry glue, so don't pay that Any mind I will wipe it off with some bold hold, so don't pay that any mind. I will wipe that off with some of the bold hold remover. So here we go. I'M nervous I'm really nervous because I feel like I brought it too high up on my hairline, but I didn't want it to be in my hair. Look it's already stuck to that other stuff. Okay, I didn't play with the baby years, yet I hope those didn't get stuck. Okay looks like they did it. I can still do that here. Did it stick on the sides kind of still a little bit like loose right here? I may just have to play with that. We see this side. I saw I didn't stick, so I'm gon na have to get creative well, I'm gon na have to get creative but see what I mean like. I can't cut it off. Cuz it'll be like way up here and that's just weird-looking. I don't know guys. If I have my hair down, I can play it off, so I might just have to do that for now and then work on this. You know if I plan on going somewhere and want to wear it up. I'M sure I can tack it down like if I use some of the boat hold for real cuz. I just put it right here on the edge, but if I use some bull hold for real and then let this hold down overnight or something like that and probably use some got to be glue with it. I should be straight, but this is the initial I'm letting you guys see it before. I go. Take this glue off of my skin and then start playing with the baby here I'll be right back okay, so I found the solution to these tabs. Not wanting to stay down, I haven't secured it all the way down, but the solution is in the wig. Just cut it up the side right here, a little bit so that it's not attached to the apart around your ear. That way, it's not pulling back on the lace, so I did it on both sides, and I mean I already feel a relief and as soon as I do these baby hands, I'm gon na lay this down. I already laid it down a little bit as you can see. I just didn't. Do it right here, cuz, it's right on my hair. So anyway, I am braided all the little twiggy's, and now I'm going to go into making a bit up baby. Here I don't want a whole bunch of baby hair like I just don't, but while I'm doing the baby here, I will talk about how I feel about the wig. So far, so you know when you get your hair braided or you get these done, like crochet style or if you get them individual, there / stiff, and they only feel good after about a week after you've slept on them and they flatten down to your head And they've gotten a little bit messy. It'S the same feeling with this wig, so they're definitely stiff like they're super stiff, so I really want them to get messy in the front. I may try and like do some research on how I can do it myself, because I, like the messy bohemian look and right now, they're super super neat and I don't know. Maybe I can just try sleeping on them with just a scarf around the edge part to hold down the glue and then let the rest get messy. I don't know I'm gon na figure, some things out, but anyway, this is how it's looking on my head. So far, so right now, I'm just gon na lay the baby hair, like I said, with my edge of fire. If you guys don't have this you're missing out you're missing out and I'm gon na take some Suavecito, I'm gon na start with this and then go back in with some got to be blue and hairspray to make sure that I really lay the edges down so That they cannot move. I went to go, get some food like they've, been laying for a minute. So let's see how this does. It'S always a nerve-wracking part. Oh definitely stuck. Okay, all right. Okay, I can work with it. I can work with it. I can work with it. I'Ll show you the back. I didn't lay the back down getting close like I have to do to really make this come to life, and that is put some foundation in the parts. Now again, if you're looking like, oh my god, I can see it's knit, it's not your hair, like it's a wig, so I mean it's not gon na be completely invisible, but I feel like the trick is to just you know, trick them from afar and don't Let them get too close, but honestly, I feel, like the makeup, does help a bit like. Let'S see what I mean yeah, I'm definitely gon na spray, this down and mousse it down and stuff and put a scarf on it and then sleep on it with the scarf one for the first night and then after that, I'm just gon na do a scarf On the edge part and let the top get frizzy, because I feel like that's when they get real cool okay, so I'm going to take this down, so I can get on this side. Okay, so this is the hair, or this is the wig, and I feel like this looks so fire like this looks so bomb. I'M gon na stand up, so you can see the bottom. Oh, she did a great job and some of them are crocheted in the back jewels, so I'm gon na get my crocheted in the back and then all the front is individual individually done. So the only thing I have to do now is train this hair. The way I want it to go, which I want this to go all the way to the side so I'll have to get some mousse put it on there and lay that sucker down and sleep on it, and all of this will be going this way. Just upon putting it on for the very first time I don't have any negatives to say about it, you do have to kind of manipulate the way you want things ago. So your tab, just because of the shape of my head, I had to cut the side. So that it would actually l'ainte, you know, lay flat on the sides and not pull it the lace, the hard lace it was hard. But I can't like I don't feel like you've made a bit of a difference. Maybe if she uses like Swiss lace or something then not the little holes and the lace won't be so apparent, but I feel like from the distance, you can't tell you can't tell from the distance up close you can kind of tell, but it is a wig Like what do you expect? So let me just pin it back really quick I'll make sure that I have all of sleep. Braid, wigs information in the description below make sure you guys click that and check out the wigs that she has to offer their fire, and I cannot wait to get a cornrow wig like that about to be real cute anyway. If you enjoyed this video, don't forget to like this video and share it with your friends and comment down below and tell me what you guys think of this wig. Lay Lace: If I would of paid $170 for that I would have been pissed tf off!!!

Sneiko the Diva: Yasss she nice nice ...that’s lace is very undetectable

Marneen Carter: So a couple things.....First of all you are #naturally very beautiful. That’s without ANY enhancement....HAIR/makeup. You slowly removed this 1st wig as if we were about to see some horrific troll beast? Not hardly....& I’m not sure WHO you’re watching on YT but If you’ve seen sum of the vids I’ve seen Sum Chicks ain’t hardly concerned with their #before! Bold enough to show it ALL; maybe when sum of them SHOULD exercise sum discretion? Anyhoo....I feel like you’re watching the wrong folk because I don’t even wear wigs/weave AT ALL, but I’m a stylist so “the processes” are my area of interest. Your “edges” are definitely “PRESENT!” And you have long side burns which are hard to camouflage with a #frontal application but it CAN be done. Your Right; I think this look IS super complimentary on you. And the wig looked AMAZING straight from the “bag”......So “The Bag?” I’d rather have a BOMB-ass product in plain ole packaging than to have BS placed in “pretty” packaging? That’s all ima say on THAT! But I love this...This definitely suits you. I’m not subbed; Just cruisin thru!✊

klassy86: Does this wig have any combs?

K S: ❤⚘

Marneen Carter: WIG???? Wow!

K S: Cute

Turtle Loves Beauty: Whew that scalp looks real life like back there

Trina La'Rae: I can't find this wig on her page.. help!!

K S: Nice unit.. more glue

Foolin with FLUFFY !: Are u based out of LA?

Keesha Randolph: What color is this unit

King Simmons:

plain22jane: Ummm...why can't I hear shit?
