Hi guys, okay, welcome to snap life's auditions. You guys will have two hours to complete your look. Let me give you a little bit of background about sound life. We do wear. All black makeup is mandatory every single day. I truly honestly believe if you take the time out to look good to go, spend money. You should look the same when you're making it because your clients deserve to see you at your absolute best because they are the ones who allowed you this fabulous lifestyle. So we are a family oriented salon. It is open floor, so i need everybody to like each other, because when they don't the energy is off. It'S a very, very high personality salon and this position is commission based, so you will be required to work at least four days a week, we'll make a schedule to build your clientele. I hope within this two hours you guys show me what you got. I would like to introduce kevin and alicia. They are some smile like oh geez, and they will be, they will actually be the ones judging because, of course, you guys know i don't do hair, i kind of know what it's supposed to look like, but they they know how it's supposed to really look and If it's really late and slay, so i'm very excited to see what you guys bring, so you guys have until 1 30.. So good luck, quick backstory! When i first started doing here, i had to audition. It was like 20 girls. She had like three slots. I was like in the middle slot and it was like 20 of us and i didn't even think i'd get the job because i had like auditions. She didn't call back for six weeks. She called back like hey, you got the position, it starts in a week or two and she was like what do you want to put on your name card, and i was sitting on the floor. Creating my instagram and i scrolled past diddy's name and his name at the time was: i am diddy, like i'm gon na change, my name in mainly i said. Then i made my instagram name. I am mainly after diddy cause, i loved, you, know diddy and his marketing and how he always reinvented himself, and then i thought, like my friends, always call me either liaison or mainly - and i was just like. Oh, that's: a cool marketing technique, like you black girl name mainly like, is she asian? Is she not? Is she mixed, which i'm not mixed, i'm completely 100 on negro on both sides of the family, but i used it as a marketing technique and it actually works out, and that was 12 years ago. I started doing hair august 7 2018 and i had no clients. My first check was 246 dollars. I still had the waitress. I was like what the am i gon na do with 246 dollars, but then checks got bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger okay. So we are 30 minutes from the completion of the first round of the auditions. These stylists are battling their way for one of the chairs. I have only have two chairs. This is amazing. I am very very impressed with some of the styles. I cannot wait to see the finishes. We only have 30 minutes, i'm about to go inside and tell them that we are 30 minutes out for completion, so stay tuned, and then we have another round another set of stylus at 3 p.m. This is crazy, i'll just work at style life. We have 30 minutes guys. Four, three two one time is up my name, michelle trees, i'm from buffalo new york, i'm a licensed cosmetologist - and i came here today to audition for snob life. Okay, explain your hairstyle! Today we did um a lace, frontal wig, it's a frontal, wig and stuff um. We have baby hairs, we did a little layers so and some curl cool cool. I can't even tell you you're doing real good, no you're fine. My name is audrey anna and i did a lace wig install. My name is lynn. My instagram is mean attractions with a square fan and i did a frontal wig install um, a lob, a long bob with crimps and little baby ears. I'M just checking to make sure it's no ripples and making sure like it's completely sealed around the ears and that it's flat across the top, because i know that's client's main concern and a lot of times. Clients don't see it in the shop and then they get home and they'd be like. Oh, my ears is lifting especially around right here or it's like ripple right here and, like you know, most clients don't check their hair before they leave and then they get home. And then i get all these nasty emails and dms my name is wanda. I did a natural taping install on my client. My instagram is, i am main vanity, we're gon na add more, but y'all know what time my name is jessica and my instagram is beauty unleashed salon and i did a traditional, quick little pronto. Is it good um hi? My name is lee. My instagram name is kalila hairland um. Today i did a wig install, well frontal wing and stuff. Did you do the color? Yes, oh yeah, it's so flat. You had a bundle. Yeah hi. My name is anya mackenzie. My instagram is style by angie, nicole and today i did a wig install with some curls is i'm dj and my instagram is the dj experience and today i did a sewing with frontal well just two hours, so whatever you can do in two hours? Okay, so i jus we just wrapped up um. I want to thank every single chalice that came out. They did so good. They slayed, i kind of want to get my hair done normally after auditions i'll, be trying to get my hair done, but i got these tape pants in so they got lucky this time because if not, i would be trying to get my hair done like on The side like yo what you doing at five o'clock, so i can give me a quick little sleigh, but they did so good and so they're wrapping up we're gon na clean up, get ready for the 3 p.m. Auditions i'm going to have a little lunch and yeah and then me and the judges will talk, and hopefully we have some new snap life stylists joining the team, this crazy little family, it's a good little family. Tabaitha Elle: I like the girl who did the tape ins! I’m noticing more people are starting to go that route with their hair. She stepped out and did something different. I would’ve loved to see some big loose blowout curls in it.

Chiomytata: Everyone did good I was happy to see the tape in 1. Andrianna did good, lots of baby hair 2. Mina did long bob I loved it it was clean and soft baby hair. 3. Wanda did a tape in, natural but could be cleaner but it’s just 2hrs so. 4. Jessica: quick weave frontal it was natural. 5. Lee: she did okay on the install and color did like the placement tho. Was clean for me. 6. McKenzie: I didn’t like the curls falling like that and the lace wasn’t blending. 7. Dj: didn’t like the frontal placement as well he didn’t pluck enough for me. Just Le : Love the tape ins they are very natural and I feel she needs extra points having to blend and apply the hair using a specific technique. A frontal with tracks is dated at this point. She was the only stylist to do a current market trend. Her client also had such healthy hair. If that's a reflection of her hands in her head then she's got it. As a natural girl, I look for a stylist that can keep my hair healthy. I can go anywhere for a frontal and sew in these days.
