Oh, my gosh, I'm still confused all of these transparently. I think I have hdh for you, you, like it a system now new hot I'm here. Just because I see a lot of people, they have these different places. They got all these HD triple-t, 3d Bodie, I'm transparently Swiss lakes. Like all this, I don't know as a person who is not a hair, stylist or who doesn't even know anything about hair at all. It can be very confusing for you, so I'm making this video just to show you guys the different laces and just the different laces that I know about and how they work for me and when you should use them and when you should not use them. All of that good stuff, but before moving further make sure you hit that subscribe button, make sure you leave a comment, make sure you turn on your post notifications. So you know every single time I post a video and if you sit here, watch my videos and you ain't hitting subscriber. Yet at this point I'm just gon na think you a stalker or you a hater, because you watched all my videos. I know you're not see microphone 5. I got over a hundred videos. I know you don't see a few of them already. I know you're, probably using my technique. I know you probably showing you stylus at your homegirls and your homeboys my technique for my videos. I know you, I know you probably don't shoulder so you might as well go ahead and show love and subscribe and leave a like and continue to watch all my videos because I know you feeling mean. I know you love me. I know you are. I can do whatever this video was brought to you in part by coca-cola sprite mmm. Don'T I love spray? Yes, I do just clean. I wish I was one cycle cold, a baby not for me to spray that teeth drop new gym just like I always do. First thing: we're gon na start with. This is a swiss light. Brown Lynx frontal, no matter if it's a frontal or for next week a closure. The lace is always going to be the same. You know as long as your supplier, it's telling you the truth and as long as you know the truth, so most laces are made with this light brown lace. This little rigid part. Don'T really worry about that. That really is not the issue, that's not the matter! It'S all about the material itself. It'S a light brown colour, as you can tell it's light brown and when I put it up against my skin it matches. This lace is a light brown Swiss lace. This lace is the same exact lace as this. It has not been tinted, yet nothing has been done with it. So let me give you an example: someone that's like my color or maybe even darker than me. My color, then doctor can use this lace if you're lighter than me it's best for you to use and transparent, lift, and I'm going to tell you why you can use this lace. However, if you want that super melted want that super melted, realistic. What lace ain't? No lace, lace who then you're gon na have to use a transparent lease. So this light brown lace most places come as a light brown lace up against my skin. It'S undetected. I can wear this people that darker than me can wear this because you can put it but it on it. You can use makeup on it and it's just gon na blend flawlessly. It'S also very, very thin, its stretchy. It'S not hard. It'S very, very soft. Like look how thin this is, how soft it is, how it stretches, and it's durable. I'M also going to add that in it's very durable. So if you want to get a wig made with this, if you want to wear this cluelessly, if you want to glue it down clean the glue off re, wear it it's very, very possible with this swiss light brown base, this is gon na, be your most Durable lace and like I said, if your my skin tone and darker you can use this lace, no problems, you see the difference, so you see how white this is like. This is super white, like if I put this on my skin, like you, can see it from far away now. Let me show you how this finger I'll put this on my skin. You can't even tell there's no links on my skin like be true. You can't even tell it's no links on me far away. You can't even see that lace but baby this lace right here. You can see that at least I look how white that is so boom. The transparent lace is literally a white right. It'S white, it's see-through, but it gives off a white clearish tone whatever you want to call it now. This lace is for my life scan, ladies, these are from our really light. Skin, really fair skin really really really light women. Now, if your dark, if your dark skin tone, you know, if you like light brown, dark brown cocoa, any of those skin tones, you can use this lace. However, it's the successes needs for you to tip the lace, and all of that, like it's a necessity, because if not it's gon na be so actually looking up against your skin like ma'am. This isn't. This is not cute. This is a no-go look. You can see this lace on here. It has not been tented or anything. So, if you're darker than me, if you're my skin tone, you can use this lace but you're, absolutely gon na have to take the lace. You'Re gon na have to Tennant you're gon na. Have to use make up whatever is your preference, tint makeup tip makeup? Make sure you use it because unless you want to be walking around looking like ass, but it goes you gon na have to take that lace but like if you real real like skin, and it's a necessity that you used this lace. You cannot use this lace because it's gon na look dark on you and it's not gon na be cute. You would have to use a transparent lace if you're light-skinned, you have to intermission. If your stylist and, of course, we all have different skin tone, client and if you really don't know what to use on them, I think it's best that you extra clients to come in for a consultation, so you can match the lace up against their skin. That'S really really easy to do, but if you're really really busy - and you just don't - have enough time to do one-on-one consultations with your clients before their appointment, I suggest that you ask them to send pictures of themselves. So you know what you're working with and when they come in they're, not just stuck like you have to know what you're gon na use on that person, what style they're going for and everything before their appointment, because you don't want to get you know you get Up you get dressed, you get ready to go to work and you get to the shop and your legs don't even match your clients skin skin tone. The lace is always gon na make or break your style people love to say, oh, if you're a good stylist. If you have real style that you can wear with anyway, that's a mother - and I don't let nobody tell you that bull, you could tell them Erica Jade City yep. I said it. I told them it's there, because that's a mother that it's uh-huh it is that you feel gon na be the bomb both bomb stylist ever if the, if the lace is a poor quality, I'm gon na give it to him. If you do Beyonce yeah, I don't give a damn. If you dare, but she'll Obama hell it ain't gon na work and it's gon na be ugly as hell, because don't nobody want to work with no dark as thick as thinking ass, ugly-ass lace? And I said what I said: if your stylist is not comfortable using the lace, just drop it and work with that stylist lace. Now another intermission for Silas. If you sell here - and you know, the quality of your hair is thebomb.com, and you know the quality of your lace is thebomb.com, do not feel bad, but only wanting to work with your brand. Yes, I know everybody's budget is not the same. However, getting your hair done is a luxury also owning a business and running a business. It'S very important for you to protect your name and protect your brand. Let'S just say a client come in with a rag gladly and they want that hair done, and you know for a fact: it ain't gon na come out right, and you explain this to the client. The client has one or two options: they either work with figure that you have, or they can't get their hair done, and it's not gon na be like anything they've ever seen. You do and you have one or two options. You even have the right. Counseling appointment reschedule it or whatever the case may be, or they work with your bread because you are your own boss. You are not forced to work with something that you are not comfortable with, and you cannot just people unrealistic expectations. That'S just like me going to Burger King and Xing them for a mega boom. Maybe we don't sell that I mean I could give you something similar to it, but if that's the type of quality that you're looking for, if that's the taste that you looking for, you were not particular at the McDonald's and that's just period. So, Oh another thing about the transparent lace. It is also very stretchy, it's very durable, so it's go both ways. Now the grand finale, this new lace that they got a really nice treat for the consumer to buy it's easily accessible. Now the HD lace it gives the most flawless results I have ever seen in my life now. You know I keep it real with John number one. This lace is not built to last. If you want to get a wig made, if you're looking to install your hair clueless me and pop it on and off every day, it ain't gon work. If you're looking to install this lace, clean the lace off and reinstall it, it's just not gon na work, because this lace is not adorable at all like. This is how it looks when you get it and it's a very, very see-through, it's a very, very thin. It'S very undetectable once it has been tentaclear skin complexion and everything it's just a flawless install like I said about the transparent lace, any skin tone. Any person of any home can use this lace. However, you're gon na absolutely have to tinted. So if you're light-skinned brown skin dark skin, whatever you want to be called, you can use this lace. All of us can use this lace. However, if you're darker, you must get it tense it to your skin complexion if it really really like skin. This will be bomb calm on you. However, let me show you how these links works, though. Okay, look at this once you start to stretch on this and pull on it. You see how it's tearing apart. This is not durable honey. This is not durable at all, especially if you tryna, wear your lace and you think you bout the way your legs and glue it down and clean it off honey, you're home your whole legs gon na, be tore up. Looking just like this by the time. It'S time for your hair to come out. That'S it! You gon na, have to buy another one of these and keep on spending your money. If you want that flawless flawless flawless, you know HD transparent, super 3d flawless lace install. If that's what you want to go for, if you don't mind, spending your coins every two to three weeks to get a new lace and that's absolutely fine. However, if you're looking for durability - and you still want those nice and for all this results, you can go ahead and work with the Swiss brown lace if you're a light, brown or darker, and if you want that dribbly super lay super sleigh. Install look in your light skin and up you can work with the transparent lace. Now don't forget that, but back to this HD lace, I'm gon na attach a few pictures, so you guys can see the results that it gives you under stress. One fine, however, like I said, I'm gon na, be completely honest with you. This is not gon na, be your best option if you're looking for longevity, if you don't mind spending your money, your mind, spending your coins every two to three weeks to get a new laced and by all means go ahead and ball out on T conehead and Ball out, my friend know: if that's the type of lifestyle you live, and you want to spend your money every two to three weeks to get a moon lace and these ain't, these ain't cheap. These is far from cheap. These these cost a pretty little penny. So if you, if you want to spend your own money on these places, then do not last that does this, then by all means necessary, go ahead and spend your money on a lace. That'S gon na tell on your ass, but I don't like it give you that flawless result that you want. It gives you that flawless results that you want, and I'm gon na tell you the only time that I would use this. Like. I said I'm gon na tell y'all the reasons why and when how, where you should use this as far as this lace goes, the only time that I would use this list is for a special occasion like a wedding, Oh baby, a wedding, a photoshoot prom, a Movie a commercial on set, you know anything that you're gon na be on camera and it's just a special occasion, like I said, like a wedding or birthday or anything like that. I would definitely go for it and use this lace as far as in everyday use. So you know you want to wear your wig clueless, want to wear your own, so in your lace, no down melt it so in, and you looking forward to taking your legs off and cleaning it and reuse it. That'S just not going to happen with this! Lynx. Look at this, this is not adorable whatsoever, don't let nobody lie to you and, if you're a stylist or if you just sell hair, don't let these vendors lie to you before, because this lace is it's hard to find in itself. This is new. You know for I apologize for these noise and banking, but they building a hotel next to my swing. So please disregard that. I apologize but anyway don't let these vendors lie to you saying they got a steal, a think. I know damn HD lace. They just got a transparent lace, cuz baby, a real HD lace. Once you start putting on this thing, it started looking like this. It started looking real fuzzy when you take it out of the pack. It looks like this when you start to use it and pluck it and start to apply it on the clients head. It starts to stretch and it starts to get fuzzy. Looking just like this, don't let them vendors lie to you and, if you're purchasing from somebody don't let them lie to you, eat them. Come to my video. If you need to know - or if you want to shop with the real deal, I got it all and stock quality honey. Look at that I'll enjoy this video I'll, see you next time yeah. I know I shares the team. I spread the word. I keep it. Blood wrong comment down below it asks me something else and y'all know: I'm gon na deliver for y'all peace.

Yolanda M: You are speaking straight facts and giving game. HD lace is meant for short term use. The celebrities wear HD lace for big events, Grammys, Oscars, photo shoots, videos things like that it’s not meant for weeks and months on end. School em girl. I’m coming for your raw hair and custom units in a few more weeks, getting my coins all the way together.

Demetrycee Britton: Thanks for informing clients about what they buy. Not enough people are educated about their purchases and get mad when it doesn't suit their needs. It makes me mad when people wanna brag on the amount they spent for their hair but can't pay for quality service to get it installed properly. This level of hair is an investment and should be treated as such. Love your Work Baby Girl

Damaria C: I'm so glad you made this video because I was thinking about purchasing a HD lace for my next wig. Saved me some coinsss.

Carrington Melissa: im brown skin but i love using the transparent lace because when i put my foundation shade on the lace i know it’s of course going to be MY shade of brown. i feel like the laces that already come brown end up being too dark or the shade is just off.

Ren Ren: Your personality is everything ♥️ Thank you for educating us

Now I'm starting my brand back up...and it will be my way or no way

Cherlaka Small: I love everything about her, whatever God has in your future I truly hope he multiples it by 100. I just love how she shares her information, I love how she walks you through step by step and I love how she keeps it 100 about everything.

Elocin Beauty ♡: LMAOOO the intro, them chinese vendors finding my whatsapp be like

Sonnequa Madonia: I'm so happy I found this because it's struggle for me I'm light brown with a hint of yellow. It's even hard for me to find a matching foundation for my skin tone. Its so annoying. I'm just now coming out my budget and spent $70 on a human wig and they still roll up or look tore up. So I'll just spend more for better quality.

pkitty808: This was sooo helpful. Been doing my own installs for years and I feel foolish I've never tried brown lace.. been wasting all my time tinting lace and putting makeup on my lace etc. Thanks Sis!!!

Ona Lee Jones-NY: Thank you for the education. I had no idea about the HD lace. Wow... It take a certain type salary bracket and social status that HD Lace is good for. Ain't good for regular-deggular folk

Shae Facey: Thank you for always dropping some knowledge. I just love you and how humble you are. You’re appreciated queen

Verlesha Holman: Awesome review and I love your honesty....that's a rare thing in the whole YouTube world. Thanks for clearing things up for me!❤

Fay E: Much respect Erica you have a great personality and your work is awesome continuous blessings

Mary J Flanagan: You had me learning, intrigued and laughing. I've recently needed to buy a wig and was wondering what the new stuff was like. The HD lace compared to swiss lace is like high end hosiery compared to dollar store stockings. Lol. Thanks so very much! I need one of those lace frontal ponytails.

Che'Nique Rich: Yes sis! Love the energy, love how your straight forward. Thank you <3

Stephanie Mitchell - Toronto Real Estate: HEY GIRL, I am so thankful for your video! I now understand the difference between them. I was having some serious troubles deciding what cap colour to get and what type of lace would be best for me. Subscribed! XO

ediesmiles1: Thank you sooo much Erica for this information and inspiration I’m glad u got this alert for your video, I will be conducting classes soon in AV California, and You just taught this old age Boss something this morning Taking notes young age Boss, you always have something new for me; and I’m grateful to be one of your most loyal , blessed fans in this Game! Your Spirit is Supreme, One Love my Queen

Emem Essien: Always love how real she is!...someone was fina say it at some point and who better than Ms. Ericka J. I myself learned about the different laces not too long ago I was told this so called “HD lace” has been around for a long time but it wasn’t called that before. I remember one vendor was trying to charge me a ridiculously high price for a Frontal when I wanted transparent Swiss lace (at least I thought it was at the time) but I didn’t know that it was because it was the HD lace they had their hair was very nice as well... but just like she said it not built to last, personally it seems better for the weave sewin type of girl who gets her hair touched up every 2-4 weeks not the type that likes to throw their wig off every night like me lol.

Nandisa Ngubelanga: Same thing happens to me whenever I have a fizzy drink, I thought I was the only one Sending my love all the way from South Africa sis! Thank you for your videos, I've learnt so much even tho I'm not a hairstylist.

Eva H: This helped me lol. I love how you showed us the difference and what's better for what skin tone. You gain a new subscriber ❤️

Craveniahh: No way the beginning of this video had me weak

MissMae: You seem so much more happy now that you’re back at home congrats on your shop baby keep pushing!

Latty sweets: That's what I like about you, you keep it real. Thanks for this video it was really helpful.

Tracey Manzano: Im in Hair loss replacement, and I'd like to add my 2 cents (HTH). Swiss lace(Aka HD lace), is the softess more realistic lace that comes in a variety of colors( Transparent, light brown, Med brown, Dark brown etc. ) It is very important to understand that the most softess , delicate laces are great and more realistic , however ,its NOT DURALBE!!! They fray a lot faster from the rubbing when cleaning them. Also, it is imparitive to match the proper color lace to your actual skin tone!!!! Please dont purchase the transparent lace color option, if you are Med brown or dark brown skin tones! French lace units are more durable than Swiss (HD)lace units. They both come in a variety of appropiate color tones to match your skin!!!! Transparent lace color is widely used, but they will need to be tweeked by dying the lace if you arent fair skinned toned.

Sabrina: Girl! Thanks for the info. I just found out abt HD lace a wk ago. I recently bought a transparent lace and I thought that was the best.

Mrs.RED'VON 77: Hey sis thank you so much for this video I'm just happy that companies are offering transparent lace now because it is hard to blend lace with a lighter skin tone by the way sis you're so pretty I love your personality may God continue to bless you and bro #keepssupportingsmallchannels like mind God bless

Toni Comer: I brought a darker lace then my skin complexion to my stylist and she made it undetectable. She is the best

Marquita Seamster Steward: This is very informative and I love how you always are

Party Crasher /LaWanda: Hi Ericka I'm new to your channel and I love your advice you give I so appreciate it. I'm a hairstylist and by watching you I feel so motivated I'm was so use to cutting and styling but, I just got into the wigs and frontals and closures wish you had classes I would definitely attend. You do wonderful work

JadeNeya: Thank you for this informative video, I always had a problem with the lace being too dark for me. Now I know i need to get that transparent lace.

Thurina Maybe: Hello miss Ericka.. I just want to say I absolutely adore you. And I appreciate all the hard work you do, God bless you♥️♥️♥️

ForEverMeTori: I have a vendor for over a year now and I am just learned that the lace is actually not a lace but a net. I'm very disappointed It's so hard to find a good lace. Frustrated

CC: Thank you so much for breaking down these different lace! Could you do a video (or reply) break down on which ones you should bleach/not bleach and if tinting or make up is better xx

SkysBeauty Lane: I ❤️ your personality , how transparent and real you are

Anita: thank you for explaining things so easily and simply!!!

Jasmine Betsey: I’m literally making 3 wigs right now with the HD lace. I realized the lace was fragile cause I tore a hole when I pinned it on the canvas head to style it. I also feel like the knots don’t bleach easily on it. Have you noticed that as well.

The Billionaire Che: “If you wanna wear your wig clueless” (lifts wig) I just love it!!! Thank you for this video!

The Perfect Touch: THANK. YOU. ERICKA!! I always tell my clients the type of lace you use determines the way that lace is melted.

Stefanie Matthew: Hey Ericka, first I will start by saying you’re my role model. I truly love your work & I have learned soo much from you, as long as you’re YouTube videos. So I’ve seen mostly all your YouTube videos and I’ve noticed that in something of the videos you bleach the knots and in some you don’t. So my question is on what type of lace do you bleach the knots? Do you still bleach your transparent laces or do you just use to tint spray or makeup? Or do you only bleach when u have a light brown lace?

Latoya Pringle: I can't wait to master your techniques ❤️

Natalynn Weddle: Hi Ericka, I’m new to HD lace and I’m glad I subscribe to your channel! I bought an HD frontal on impulse and when I co-washed it it shredded so much I decided it would be a horrible mistake to have a wig made with it. I don’t have the time or money to have things redone. So thanks again for info on the different types of lace and you definitely saved me money and misery. Maybe I’ll get invited to an Award show and I can wear it then

Danielle Miss D: Thank you for telling the truth and breaking this down to a science!

K D S: Girl thanks for this video bc im opening a hair company online and i needed to know the different between hd lace and transparant lace. U da best

Kil Danzaaa: Def feeling u def loving u queen!! ‼️ hahaha I subbed and turned on notifications sooo fast once I found this video! This is legit the ONLY video that has helped me determine the laces of 9/10 of my wigs thank u so much.

Sweet P'zzz: Thank you so much for taking the time to educate "us" ..... Come thru Mrs.Jackson!

Latonya Boseman: I love how detailed you were! Very informative.

M.F. G.: Hey Erika, I'm about your complexion. A lot of these vendors have light brown and medium brown laces. What's the difference in comparison when applied to a brown skinned girl?

Rascal Ragdoll182: I appreciate this even though it didn't fully help my issue. It was really entertaining though! I'm white as fucking paper, but have the worst luck with transparent lace. I want a nice thickness, but every time I order the density stays all in the top and doesn't go throughout. It's incredibly frustrating! So I use medium brown and put makeup on the lace to hide it. Luckily I have a side bang to hide most of the lace, but it would be nice to have no worries about it. I have incredibly thin hair due to androgenic alopecia. I have no friends who can relate to my struggle and not many know about my hair being fake either. I dropped $200 on a wig that is too thin despite being 180% density. Its transparent and has been a pain in the ass to return. AliExpress can sure be shady with returns apparently. I bought both a front lace transparent and medium brown at the same length and listing one time and preferred the medium brown over the other. Transparent may be more expensive, but has always disappointed me. It's infuriating! Why should I pay more and get less realistic hair?? Like, why can't I have both a lace that blends naturally and be thick throughout?? If any of you ladies have recommendations or could point me in the direction of information/wigs that would suit my needs I would love that. My current wig is matting up near the nape of my neck no matter what I do and is a year old. Daily wear. She has been a trooper, but I need to get another one. Each listing of a wig I've liked has been discontinued for some reason. So I'm desperate. Thank you so much for reading! Have a beautiful day, Beautiful! <3
