Hey you guys in this video, i'm going to show you how i make ready to ship wigs for my business if you're interested stay tuned for those of you who do not know ready to ship. Wigs are basically wigs that are ready to be shipped to the customer, so it's pretty much a self-explanatory term when it comes to creating ready to ship weeks for your company, how you go about doing them is going to be up to you, the business owner. I know a lot of people get caught up over how they want to do their ready to ship wigs, but the beauty of being a wig maker is that wig is an art and when it comes to art there are no rules. You are able to create your own rules for my ready to ship wigs i like to use wigs that have already been created from my vendor. What i love about my vendor is that they're able to make the wigs to my liking. I can tell them what type of cap to make the wig on to include an elastic band or wig combs, and i can also tell them how many bundles go into each week, so i really enjoy that. I have that option working with my vendors. Basically, i order a lot of wigs from my vendor and basically now that i have the wigs i am taking them out of their packages and i am going to start customizing them to my likings. The first step that i take to customizing my ready-to-ship wigs is bleaching the knots. I really want the lace to have a realistic look and bleaching. The knots is the first step to having a realistic, scalp, look and again just to point this out. Another time how you create your ready to ship wigs is completely up to you. If you want your ready to ship weeks to be completely uncustomized, meaning you just want to sell them the same way the vendor sends them. That is 100. Okay, you are the business owner, so you are able to make the rules for your ready to ship wigs. Also, if you wanted you're ready to ship weeks to be completely custom by you, meaning you take the bundles and you take the closures of frontals and you, you know custom make that week by size and you do everything else you want to do to it. That is completely up to you. There are no rules for how to create your ready to ship wigs do whatever it is that you feel the most comfortable with now, of course, once the knots are done bleaching i am going to rinse them out. I may possibly tone the knots if i feel like it is necessary, but once i am done with bleaching the knots i am going to go ahead and proceed with plucking and styling my units. So of course i want it to be as realistic as possible. So i am going to plug plug plug and make it the way that i want it to be, and of course, once i'm done with one unit, i'm going to go ahead and start working on the second unit. Now, when it comes to my ready to ship wigs, i really take my time well honestly, when it comes to any wigs that i create. I take my time with styling them, so i actually started working on the next ready to ship week the following day. So, basically, that is just what you're going to see me do you're going to continue to see me working on the wigs when it comes to launching your ready to ship wigs that is going to be completely up to you at around around this time. I would say that i launched my ready to ship wigs every two weeks. Some wig makers like to launch them once a month and some wig makers like to launch their ready to ship wigs every week. So it's completely up to you when you launch whatever launch date you set for yourself. You need to give yourself all of that time between when you get the wigs all the way up until your launch date. That is the amount of time you have available to actually work on and customize your wigs. So that will pretty much let you know if you need to work on them quickly or if you need to work on a certain amount each day or you know if you can really take your time. So all of that is dependent on whatever plan you have for yourself and whenever you plan on launching your actual units. So once i have prepared my ready to ship units the next morning, i like to go ahead and start taking pictures of them and recording videos. So that i'm able to promote my ready to ship wigs on social media, i like to set up my little background. I don't know i'm very particular how i like to take the pictures. I always got to have something in the background with the wigs by ebony logo. I love to have the greenery in the background as well, so i like to play around with my background, but i definitely definitely definitely take a lot of photos and videos that way. I'M able to promote the ready to ship wigs, so this is how i do my ready-to-ship wigs. This is my process. If you have a different or similar process, please comment below and let me know what you do down in the comment section. I would love to read up on it and see how you guys like to prepare your ready to ship wigs. CrazyGirlTV: Thank you Eboni I love this

Charlayne Clark: Love ❣️ it. Do your thing lady!

Micks S: So just to clarify, for every ready made wig, you style and customise them? Or do you just customise and style a few for marketing i.e promo pictures, but ship the wigs as they come when an order is placed?

Dirbet Rod: Hi dear I just want to thank you so much. I live in Mexico and I really would love to start a wig business, you have gave me just the idea and I really appreciate it you are so talented. God bless you .❤️❤️

all mighty pancake cuffee: How many ready to ship wigs would you recommend starting with? I sell 6 different textures that I machine make and style...but I was interested in ready to ship as well.

Ngalula Dodier: Hi Ebony, this is a great video! I have a question about using Spotify. I’m creating my website on Spotify and in the variance section to add multiple options such as wig cap sizes, length. And so on, right now it’s only allowing me to do two variance. For example the length and size and when I try to add more options it lets me know that I cant add anymore options. I noticed on your website that you have multiple options under your custom wig section and I’m having a hard time offering those options online Shopify website. Do you think you can help? I’m using the impulse theme.

Asia M: Thank you for this video ✨

NURS3898: Hi, been following you for a while, was planning on getting a wig from you this year. But the price for the ready to ship is a bit much. I don't think the price was this high 18 months ago. Got to rethink this.

QueenA: Do you wash your wigs before you customize/ship them ?

Perpetual Uyoojo Peter: Great work Please can you write the names of the products you used to prepare your ready to ship wigs please under my comment

Black Queen: Do you wash the full wig before styling and shipping?

Leah Johnson: Bout to do this! Work for myself is best

Niya Hurst: Hey do you include elastic band on all of your wigs ?

Claudine A.: Hey just wanted to know so you still offer this services. Would recommend this or custom made wigs?

Canecia Smith: Do you have them keep that part on under the closure?

TheRealDesirae: Where can I buy those doll heads ?!

Coco MelaninTV: How long do you recommend keep the bleach on without over bleaching the wig ? If you don’t mind me asking

Just Me! Jazzi: I’m new sub. Yay! Lol but how do you package them once styled?

Janisha Black: Awesome video honey!!!

ItsQueen Babii: Do you mind giving your wig vendor information? Mines is amazing. They have several warehouses throughout the u.s., one is close to my house... So I don't have to worry about shipping. I can pick up and view each piece at the warehouse before purchasing. But....they only make 150% density wigs. So if I want fuller wigs I personally have to sew in a few tracks with my sewing machine. I'm trying to find a vendor who has high density wigs, that I can actually trust sending money to.

Ngalula Dodier: How many ready to ship wigs to you normally order at a time?

lavender carmel: I think matter of fact I know I'm in the wrong business, it's mad money being made making wigs I'm about to try foreal.

Liyah B: Hey Eboni! Are you a cosmetologist? I want to do wig construction but not sure if I should go to cosmetology school first or just start now

Thebudgetslayer: How do you find your vendors ?

Rose Joseph: Hey ❤️can you discuss on how to make a set up similar to this ?

Leontine Kodjo: Thank you Ebony My Angel. My people don’t want to pay a lot of money for wigs. Please can you do a video about your recommendations I mean type of requirements that you tell to your vendor. Thank you

LAYEDITION: What ring light would you recommend?

MsStylish23: Hey love what a good length to start off with and texture

Lyntia Dawson: What density are these wigs ?

Eutell Davis: What do you use to bleach the knots?

Diia Swain: love your videos, where can I find the clip that you have holding down the frontal?

eneshia: do they ship fast ?

Mia Green: Will you have any ready to ship 22inch loose wave or deep wave units Black Friday?

Ty Eason: You just inspired me.

ZiyaCharnee: What type of cap does your vendor use on your wigs ?

Tee Tee: Thats good you found a vender that make your wigs the way you like. I have everything to open a business but a good vender & understand what I'm saying.

Ronni j: How do i order a pre-bleached, pre- plucked wig from you??

Jeannie Mendoza: Hi do you have any wigs available i like the deep wave

Janeene Nelson: Beautiful how much are your wigs

Gabriella Valentine: Were can i buy those mannequins with the faces

Dezi Marii: Do you tell them what size head or what size would you recommend to order?

Kendra Harvey: So lets say I purchase a 24 inch bodywave colored wig from a wholesale company and its cost me $450 i should charge $550+ correct? Im afraid I’ll run off customers because my prices are too high
