How To Lace Front Crochet Wig Pt.1 (Ventilating The Frontal)

This video is about making a lace front crochet wig from scratch. There are 2 parts to this tutorial, this is part 1 so come back tomorrow for part 2.

Okay, this is what you're gon na need. Ladies you're gon na need um a u-part wig. This is what I'm using. They have one facade, but this is the center one, the center parting right here. So this is what I'm using look at the packet really good. That way, if you want to follow me, you can follow me. This is the packet and this exactly what it looks like, and this is a frontal. It'S invisible lace, frontal cap right here. This is what this look right, like is from ear to ear and, of course, the center you're gon na need that you're gon na need a ventilating needle. I got this ventilating needle from Aliexpress, which that they don't have it there anymore, but which may have them, and I bought this years ago. I have tutorials on this, or I may use this crochet hook. It'S a really really small crochet hook that I bought from my local beauty hair store. Also, I'm going to be using the latch hook, the big one. Now I may use a smaller one, I'm not sure it depends on the amount of hair that I want to put on then you're gon na need also you're gon na need some hair, and this is the end. I'M working with bobby boss feather tip braid in this in the color, 1 and 1b. This is what I'm using, and this is 54 inches long. So if I'm like taking it like this hole, I guess and I'm just taking some up because it folds like that. Then it's gon na reach out to like 27 inches. I don't know if I'm gon na make it longer. I will know once I get it to the tutorial, so you're gon na need this hair. Now I got six packs. I don't know how many packs you're gon na need. Yet I will let you know then you're gon na need a mannequin here now my mannequin here have been through it, but you me a mannequin here. You'Re gon na need some scissors and you're gon na need a brush, so those are the items that you will need. If there's anything, that's that you will need. I will let you know what you will need to be able to finish this tutorial this project and let's get started now when I start I'm gon na start with the frontal first we're ventilating, because that's the the most tedious. So, of course, I'm not gon na show you everything, but I will show you this and you're just gon na just grab it just like that. You'Re gon na insert your needle anywhere, I'm gon na put it there, you lift it up. You just grab, maybe one to two pieces of hair. You pull once you grab the hair, you hold the hair talked in this left hand. Then you pull the needle out. Sorry y'all, it's easier. Okay, you grab the head, you pull the needle out. You make sure you have the hair on a loop. You grab that you turn the needle around and then you let the hair. That'S on that slide off and there's your loop right there. If you can see that loop, you see that then you just pull it. Both ways: let's try it again, you bring that needle to hook up you grab the amount of hair. You need you'll, pull it. You pull this out as you hold. In the other hand, you grab that hair. You bring it out like that, and it's like that. I can't explain it any other kind of way I like to do is just show it to you. So just watch me and I'm trying to only like grab least two to three pieces of hair. Now, I'm gon na continue to go this way. Now I read this some of the sides right here just to put my foundation and I'm just gon na continue to keep going this way. This way, this way no specific way. This is what I've done already. This is what it looks like inside the root area. So I'm just going to continue here you, okay, yo. This is how much I've done on it. So far. I put it on to try on once. I can see what's going on and I still have more that I want to do, but I came so you can see so far and how natural it looks, and I don't even have no concealer in it. I don't know if I'm gon na put concealer in it. Let'S see if I can go this way on it, so it's basically anywhere apart within that area. Let'S do a close-up yeah. This looks like my scalp. These are still two to three strands of hair and let's hold it back because I'm not finishing yet and what I'm gon na do is um finish: crocheting, I'm being finished ventilating across here and then I have the size that I have to do. But I'm not gon na. Do I'm probably gon na do probably just from here so right there! That'S it! I don't need a whole lot of hairline because I don't have a whole lot of hairline in the front. So let me find my again so basically yeah this is it here. I love it now. I'M gon na tell you take your time. Ladies with this, this is a very, very tedious project. Take your time with it, and I'm only gon na make this well. I'M gon na make this only um part one, instead of because I really want to take my time with it and the results you can get when you take your time with it. Look at that all right, okay, your being that this cat, if you can see it, goes way past my ear right here, so what I'm gon na do, I have it placed exactly where it's comfortable for my head. So what I'm gon na do is that, because I'm gon na pull on it a little bit what I'm gon na wear my hair line. Is this right there on the side? So what I'm gon na do is just take a white eyeliner pencil and I'm just gon na you can you know this stuff? You can wash this off, it's not a problem. What I'm gon na do is just mark the areas where I know that I'm gon na stop my hairline I'm gon na cut. This are you here, but this is where my hairline is gon na stop on here. So because I don't want a whole lot, I don't want to be ventilating for nothing, so this is basically where I'm just gon na do it, so it can fit my hair right. So everything that you see that's white right here, but then this white is where I'm gon na finish: ventilating right here, alrighty yo, so I am done with the ventilating. So this is that remember I had the white part. That was the white tone, so it was data, but this right here goes down. Of course, I'm gon na be taking baby hair from it and making a little bit more finer than that. You

Living With Meeka: This video was very helpful, I understand the technique so much more now, with the lace frontal. Before I thought the way you did the lace frontal, was the way you had to do the whole wig and I thought that would have been way too time-consuming.
