Hey, ladies, it's simply Erica coming to you guys today with another video. Today we are going to do a tutorial on how to cut a lace front. Wig, there's probably that matted up with that set near your closet. You don't know what to do with it, but today I'm going to teach you how to cut your weaves into a bob, so it could be even more stylish than it was before so stay tuned and check out this tutorial. Alright, so the first thing you're going to want to do is separate the wig into three sections. This is going to make your cutting process a little bit easier if you're familiar with cutting wigs. Ladies, you definitely have seen this method met many a times. This has worked for me in the past, so you had to separate your wig into three sections using rubber band or a ponytail holder, so for our next process we are actually going to start cutting. Now I used a regular pair of scissors. If you are really good at cutting hair, then yes, you can use your fancy scissors or if you just have a pair scissors laying around a house, you may do so and just start cutting straight along underneath the rubber band. This is going to give you just that line of where you kind of want the hair to stop. I cut it a little bit longer, just in case I cut too much hair off. So you know this just helps it a little bit more and then you are going to remove. There were bands once you are done, cutting and then you are actually going to brush the hair and we're going to fix those bottom hairs definitely cut those off. Yes, we got to get rid of those, so, as you can see, we are going to cut those ugly finishes at the bottom. That definitely takes a lot of work. I'M just trying to get it all, even as you can see it took me about a minute. You'Re going to face all type of angles, just to get it to that nice blunt cut that you want the wig to be No. So after we're done, I actually decided to cut a little bit of layers into the unit just to make it a little bit more stylish. If you don't want to cut layers, you don't have to. This is just my personal choice and you're going to do so by taking you know, a piece of hair and just cutting a downward and a diagonal diagonal angle, to give it that nice layering effect - and you can do this wherever you like - that's entirely up to You so in this next part, you're going to want to get one of your favorite flat irons. This is just one of the ones I use it's called hot Beauty, that's just my personal one. I use and you're going to take your way section by section and just kind of bump the ends a little bit just like I said just give it a little bit more style and fluff with this wig. It just has a lot of body and it's very thick, so I like the way that it's really turning out here but, like I say, you're, just going to bump the ends just to give it that more bob type of feel also don't forget to get the Bangs, yes, and kind of feather it out a little bit just to give it that really full blowout effect. So now we are actually going to apply the unit on to our heads. I forgot my wig cap. I don't know why I didn't get one, but I made a part in the side of my head, where I want the side part to be, and then I just placed the unit on top of the parting, so it kind of gives it that really realistic parting Space, you know, and so you want to line it up just right, so it looks really realistic after that I kind of take my rat tooth comb and just kind of pull my edges out to give it a even more realistic. Look because this is a kinky texture, wig. So of course it's going to blend in with your natural hair, now mind you, I am NOT natural, I am relaxed, so my edges may lay down or flatter than some people's it just kind of depends. So I'm going to take my olive oil as control and brush it with my eyebrow pencil to give the baby hair effect. You can do this, however, you like this is just how I like to customize my baby ears. This is the final result of cutting the hair a lot of time, but the results are gorgeous. I really love the way this turned out. So, ladies, if you're definitely interested in trying uh interested in trying to cut your own wigs, you can do that at your very own house. You don't need to be a stylist. Of course you can see. I had a few mess ups. It doesn't need to be perfect as long as it's to your liking, if you guys are interested in seeing more tutorials from me. quaz imodo: I didn't know about dividing the hair into sections for an easier cut. Good idea. It's actually a very old concept of dividing a problem into smaller and more manageable bits. The same idea (dividing into smaller pieces) is used in (a) math (b) engineering and (c) warfare. It works. Thanks.
