Now, before we get started, i'm guessing you all are very, very observant and can tell that this is not my usual setup. No, i am in my bathroom in las vegas. Yes, this is going to be the home studio for now until my stuff arrives, and i figure out exactly what the new setup is going to be so just enjoy. My luxurious live. It'S because i brought this beautiful wig with me, and the rest of them are still on their way in the u-haul box, or i shouldn't say, u-haul box, a very, very expensive, pod transport company, the very best like the gucci of pods. Okay, now i have to say i'm excited about this. You guys i've been talking about moving for so long now and it's finally come i'm in las vegas. It'S true. I wasn't making it up for those of you in the comment section. I thought i was i'm actually here, i'm in las vegas, let's get started. Okay, let's look at this wig. This is the wig that robert sent me. It is a full lace. Wig of human hair. Look at that cap on the inside ventilation all up on the cap. Yes, i'm gon na try on this wig i'll, be right back all right! I am back. This is the full base. Wig ernie says i like sofia vergara, it's true! I, when i think of somebody that i resemble that's a celebrity sophia vergara, usually springs to mind whenever i wear dark hair. Oh my god, it's like cynthia snatch game. We don't even need the duck. I want to use his body language. Ah, she went home that episode anyway. This is fun. I love this now i don't usually do brown colors on me. I don't know what it is. Probably because, like you know, it's the same. Hair color by, like actual real life sisters, have - and i try not to look like my sisters at all. Okay, i want to stand alone and have all the attention being the bottle blonde that i am yes, so this is fun and this is ooh. This is this flip, oh, oh girl, should i try. Okay, because i got stuff to do. Okay, i got ta go to vegas, i'm gon na. I have to go to the strip and hang out with my mommy who drove me all the way down from wisconsin to here. You know she was really a trooper. We drove through those mountains girl, my god that was a scary, ass trip. I risked my life to come here. You guys, oh my gosh, i'm a survivor. Oh you also may notice. I don't have my actual pins on me that i use to pin down the lace, so i'm using t-pins. I do not recommend doing this, but it's what we got: okay and they're low enough down where i'm not going to wear the lace. So it's not really going to matter it just needed it there to keep it still set. Here. We got i'm just going to brush out the bottom quick and we are going to get our curling iron heated up. Yes, just grab my curling iron when i leave it so far away good lord. I want to do this to myself. The cord just like rolled up on me like no okay, curling iron, is gon na get turned on now. Okay, now let that heat up and get started the big now time to start separating where i want my part to get you are gorgeous. You are beautiful. We are going to do like a rockabilly, pompadour updo. I think yes, back to my roadtrip. I, ladies and gentlemen, almost got stranded in utah. Those of you been following. My social media might have seen this story already, but we ran out of gas in the middle of nowhere. Like honestly, you pulled up to this town you'd think there was like 12 teeth in it and none of them are in the same head. Okay, so small, very that - and i kept thinking to myself like if we get stranded here, there's only one two scenarios that could have to be i'll either you know be murdered and eaten alive or i'll have to give the whole town a makeover. It'S true: everyone in town is getting a makeover, i'm gon na change, everyone's life and it's very poignant, but chances are the first option, will more than likely happen to me plus. I don't have that much pan stick! Oh also, speaking of this, some of y'all said to me in the comment section that i should bobby pin it after i use the curling iron and it actually will hold the curl up. There turns out you're right and it actually does work. I tried it for another wig, but i don't have my bobby pins on me right now, so we're not going to do that today, because you're gorgeous you're beautiful you deserve the best in life, but you're not getting the best today. Okay, that's the curl! We'Re doing! Yes, it's still pretty, though i held up my finger and i took that burn in with stride and it worked out for me. Okay life dealt me a burn and i made it work. Oh my god, i sound like a boomer back in my day. We didn't have bobby pins, we held the hair in place with our bare fingers. Just took the burn our fingers count, but we were stronger for it. Some boomer hairdresser out there sitting there like a knuckle full of just burnt nubs, all calloused over better name is like gail gail, the hair stylist, the only hairdresser in all of oshkosh that still has hot rollers on the ready. Ah, i love gail, okay ow. I touched up my hand, i'm not gay. Apparently it's hot okay. Oh my gosh, it came with a really frightening face on it like stickers that i had to peel right off because, like she looked right into your soul and i couldn't have it on my channel. Okay, it looked like if you looked into her face like one of those chain letters you'd have on myspace would come after you, like you, have seven days to live all that. Okay, she was dark-sided. She had to go so now. You can kind of see remnants of where it was maybe i'll put a face on it. Maybe i won't we'll see we'll see how i'm feeling, as i'm you know in these upcoming weeks, anyways the hair is all curled and she is lovely. Oh yeah, i'm also using not my usual tripod. I actually bought a gorgeous like rose gold tripod for wigs from amazon, prime and it got delayed okay, so things aren't going my way right now. Right so just bear with me and know that you're probably doing a little better than jane's bandsaw, which i don't think one of you feel better out there all right now. Let'S start our style, i curled the hair and it is gorgeous and i did manage to find a handful of bobby pins, which means i could have avoided getting third degree burns in my hands by holding the curl hot in my hand like that, to make sure It got all the heat, but you live in your mouth. So, let's start our style. The hairstyle i'm doing is sort of a rockabilly, pompadour kind of look. I always love these cutting hairstyles and i feel, like you, see them everywhere with like rockabilly girls. So i want that for myself plus, i know it's a hairstyle. I can easily take all the teasing out if i have to. I don't want to tease the whole wig, because i want to use it for like a photo shoot idea. Yes, but i need to make content - i don't have that much here, so i have to make sacrifices, see what i'm dealing with here. Oh my god. Oh great, all right here we go a little bit of teasing in there because i don't need that. What is making that rattling noise, like the rattling girl from daria? Remember that episode, that's a weird episode. There are a lot of throwaway episodes in that show. The rattling girl was like sandy played there in the urban legend and she didn't eat like she starved herself. So much that you can hear the rattling of her bones, you might want to put her carpet down. Maybe now i love rockabilly hair, as you guys could probably already tell. I think that was bad for the 1950s or like people that are really nostalgic for a time they had no place in because they weren't born. It'S really. My vibe and they're also serious about it too, like rockabilly, guys and girls like they invest so much money into it, and i heard a joke one time that rockabilly is what happens to gods when they get old and they're, not wrong, if you're, a god that Suddenly became rockabilly or had a rocket really face. Let me know if that, if that holds any water, does that theory check out. I teased out the sections i want to tease out, which is essentially the top and the sides i'm leaving the back long, because i want a nice long fall in the back now. What i'm going to do is i separate a little bit of the bangs here, or at least you know what i'm going to use for a faux bang and throw the rest of the hair back. I may even take in some trap i might add, or subtract more hair, as i keep going along, we'll see anyways we're going to focus on the sides right now we're going to pull those back. Let'S work one side at a time: the side's looking pretty good, let's just boost up some more teasing, and since it is human hair, it's gon na get a little bit of it and it should puff up just like that real real easily. Yes gorgeous. Okay. Now it's going to detangle that end, so we have something to play around with and adorn the hair with when we start doing the faux bang and it doesn't have to be like the crazy neatest, because i'm also going to cover some of it up with a Bandana, to give it more of you know that casual, but dressy feel bob. I love human hair so much sometimes it just does what you want right away. I don't know, maybe subconsciously being almost stranded in that small town got me thinking of like two wong fu, because the hairstyle and the exact color is starting to look like um beth grant's hair after she gets the makeover baby ugly. Her father used to call her baby ugly. Oh what a good movie i feel like that'd, be cute too, because it's a full lace wig. So i have the option: let's play around with it, why the hell not ooh. I love that idea like a juvenile delinquent ariana grande in the 50s, that would be fabulous. Watch, i'm going to say that out loud and the next video she's going to be juvenile, the link in the 1950s just okay. Now it's time for pompadour, so i'm gon na readjust and i'll be right back all right! I am back now, let's kind of start, doing our pompadour, i'm trying my best to get to look the most like you know, a female version like an elvisy kind of hairstyle, where it's like curly and kind of greasy looking gives off that really tough kind of Vibe, like oh, that girl kick your ass, let's play around with that part too: let's flip it inside out and invert it and throw the curl back. Yes, open that up a bit with my fingers, you want to look like natalie wood if she played james dean's partner without a cause, that's what i'm going for that would have been a way better movie. I really wish there were more movies about, like girl street gangs - that's not covered enough in cinema. I think the only one i can really think of is like switchblade sisters. That was a good one. Oh my god, all right, i'm liking that so far. Now, what i'm going to do here at the wolf's section i left out yes brave a bit and i'm gon na create like a little spit curl on the front. Curl use my hot breath all right now, let's, let's cover our bases now i got this little bandana here. Just take that take that rewind it back. Okay, that ain't gon na fold it over like that and just play around with it you need to, like you, know the thickness and we're gon na put it around the hair and we're gon na play around with it. This pompadour needs a bit more oomph, so pull her up, and this is what girls do all the time when you do rockabilly hairstyles, if you watch them on youtube, they're, constantly fussing with the front part trying to get more volume in it and jack it up.
