The question was asked why i choose wigs as a middle aged woman. The clock is ticking, so i'm gon na begin. My story uh with the diva herself, my mom. Yes guys it started with my mother - god rest her soul. So i was kind of born into this thing here i started wearing wigs in my teens uh. I had a lot of hair, but i love the way that wigs made me look. They gave me different styles, like long short, curly straight yeah. I love them all. Now the one that i'm going to show you today is going to be this gorgeous water wave and then i'm gon na continue talking about why i choose to wear wigs at uh. In my middle age i am 60 and in two more days i'll be 61 guys. Yes - and this is the beautiful wig that i'm going to be wearing on my birthday, okay, uh we're going to enjoy our 61st birthday in this love. Me hair. Love me. Some love me hair. Just love me, hair water wave! Isn'T it gorgeous so now, at age 61 and with hair loss alopecia wearing wigs is a lifestyle for me because of the alopecia, the hair loss. I went through so much pain and anguish about the hair loss, but the more that i began to wear my wigs, the less and less. I felt that pain, because the wigs were a great substitute and uh anyone that's out there with hair loss. You understand what i'm talking about now. Let me tell you what a sister is doing right here. We are using a product called glam. It'S in the pink can it's in the same family with the gap to be glue, and i want to try those two products together: uh to do my uh, adhesive and i'll tell you uh. It definitely works for me now. If this may not work for you, but by me using those two products together, it gave me a great sticky tackiness. I love the way that uh those two combined together, uh so yeah. This is this beautiful hairline on this water wave, really nice uh. You have uh baby hairs in the front uh as well. If you decide that you would like to use them, we are not a baby hair person, so we will not be uh using the baby hairs but they're there. If you desire to do so. Okay. So, let's continue, i remember the first wig that i started wearing in my teens and it was a a long, curly uh wig i'll tell you. I love that wig uh when i put that wig on it's just like any person that wears wigs, they can tell you the same story uh. It gives you a different attitude uh, what type of uh hair that you put on for that day or night uh. Wigs are like a like you're changing your clothes, because once i put on a wig, i want to put on the right outfit to go along with that wig to complement that wig okay, so the application came out really nicely check out that hairline simply gorgeous we're Going to clean up that hairline from any excess adhesive that's on there, but did not come out really nice, so i've been wearing wigs so long. They just are so comfortable. I'M not like a person that has to get used to wearing a wig because i've been doing it for so long. The next question is: do i focus on a age appropriate, uh wig? I have never thought that any particular wig was age, appropriate. My focus when it comes to wigs again is if it looks good on me, i'm going to wear it uh. Some people do feel that a certain wig is age appropriate. The only thing i feel about a wig that used to scare me it wasn't about my age. It was color. I was always afraid of color when it came to wigs to one day i stepped out of my box. The first time i tried a color unit, a unit with color in it was about five years ago. Yes, not too long ago, just five years ago, uh and it was a 1v30, and when i put that wig on, i tell you you talking about attitude girl. I had attitude all over the place and it took that fear away from me once i tried uh that color and then i began to wear other different colors 1b27. I went to the blonde. I did a lot of different colors. The fear left me. So if you like it, try it and if you are hesitant of something just try it to see uh, if you like it just like, i did with the color once i tried it. I liked it so we're just going to be adding a product to this water wave and see how those waves are coming really nicely low in the hair texture, really beautiful, wig, okay, um the next question before we have to end this video um does uh someone Opinion uh matter to me about uh wearing a wig, because i know some men don't like women that wear wigs. Well, i'm not married to that person. Some women think that certain women shouldn't wear certain wigs. So to me, does a person's opinion of me wearing a wig at 61? 31. 41. 51. 21. Does it matter uh?
