How To Install Wigs Over Locs Ft. Amazon Wigs | Easy Cornrows Method

Welcome back to my channel, as you can see my title today, i'll be showing y'all how i install a wig over my locs so right now i already have my head scarf on that. I usually wear throughout the day just to protect my locs, i'm gon na go ahead and take that off, and this is what my locks are looking like at this point. They are very mature and i completely love them. I did get a fresh re-twist. I interlocked this time so first step is i'm going to dampen my hair just so it's easy to work with. So what i'm going to be doing is braiding back my locs and form rows so can lay flat under the wig. So i just take a couple of a small section, just like this, so this part near closest to my ear. I'M gon na go ahead and take one of my pins, so you can see that use this and pin my hair back. So, just so it's out of the way so just like that. So what i'm going to do is i'm going to take strand by strand and i'm going to cornrow it back. So it's basically what you would do with loose natural hair, but and if you have really short locks, just use the next slot to build onto it. I'M trying not to do the bottom, one so tight, because i am going to put a wig cap over it and you do not want that much tension at the very bottom of your hair. What'S this sounds okay, so yes, there might be a couple that are sticking out, which is perfectly fine. It does not have to be perfect at all. So now i'm going to go on to the next row. I'M just going to continue doing that braided pattern. Until i get to the very end, just like this, this is a section i'm working with right here. It'S just one line of looks you want to keep it as small as possible, so your hair will be flat for the wig coaching. For me, my face cause. I just can't fall when i look. Don'T be scared, just like that, come on. Yes, all right y'all, so i'm finally finished. This is what it's looking like. So your braids do not have to be neat at all, but yeah, and this is honestly the flattest. It can get this size not that flat honestly, but it will have to do so. After doing your braids make sure to moisturize, i'm just going to take some oil and just put it along my parts. Now i'm going to go ahead and add the wig cap all right so now this is the wig that i'm going to install. This is the wig that i got some time ago from amazon. I really love this wig just keep the 100, don't be scared, just like that. Come on all right guys. I have to do my edges off camera y'all because i cannot see like i need to get close to the mirror to do it. So this is what it's looking like so far. I have to cut the edges down a little bit because they're way too long um, i just added some got to be glue spray just to um, make sure it stays. And if you see any white residue, it's just a spray, i'm going to wipe it off and do my whole skin care routine. When i'm done in the meantime, i'm going to take this, i'm just going to let it dry a little bit, i'm going to wrap it with this, but while i'm waiting for that to dry i'm going to spray the hair with water gucci for me, then i'm Gon na go ahead with my water body, it's almost finishing, it gets more, but it's a foam holding spray um. It'S usually used for curly hair. I'M just gon na go ahead and spread that through my hair me just keep it 100, just like that. Come on all right y'all, this is the final look. This is how i install my wigs over my locs. It'S a very simple process. It just takes a long time. As you can see, the wig is laid, no bumps, no hills, you know, so the trick is to make your parting as little or as small as you can and don't. Braid too tight but kind of braid tightly don't break too loosely just so it can lay as flat as i can and just carry on with the whole with installation.
