How To Stop Wig Adhesive From Showing Through The Lace| Ft. Eayon Hair Co.

Hey guys in today's video, i will be showing you all how to style this beautiful, beautiful, wig, okay i'll, be showing you guys some new little tips and tricks. But okay, we'll also be talking about this all right, which doesn't have anything to do with the actual wig. But i am going to be telling you guys how this could happen when you are applying tape or any other type of adhesives how it can cause like show through and how to prevent it. So stay tuned and watch the whole video to find out how all right y'all so, let's get into the good stuff this week, is from ian's hair company. This is what the wig looks like straight out of the boxes. How can package very nicely? The curls were already in it and that's what the hairline looks like already. Pre-Plugged looks. Awesome already has a part in it, and this is the inside of the wig. It has combs in it an adjustable, strap inside and also an adjustable cap as well. So here's the little curls that uh came with the wig already i didn't pre-curl it or anything or pre-style it rather. So this is what it looks like on my head guys. So, as you all can see it's pre-plugged, so you really don't have to do a lot if you do not want to didn't come with any baby hairs around the wig. It comes also comes with deep parting. I'M going with this foundation to kind of make it look more natural, i'm not bleaching the knots or anything you guys know i love to pluck on my head. So, even though this wig appears to be pre-plucked already, i just i you know i need to i'm gon na plug it a little bit more. You know what i'm saying so you guys know i'm not a big fan of the ball cap method, but this lace is thinner. Okay, so you have to kind of watch that too, because all wigs do not. You do not have to do a ball cap method, but if the, if the wig, if the lace that is on the wig, sorry it's pretty thin - you may just have to because it will show through. Unless you do not wear a cap and my couch was showing through quite a bit um in the beginning when i was showing off the wig, so i'm doing like a mini ball cap, i'm not applying a whole bunch of adhesive or anything. So i'm going in with my favorite, which is lace tape. Guys here is some 91 alcohol that i'm going to use to clean the area of debris. Before i actually apply the tape. I do like to cut the tape in half. This tape comes in all different types of sizes, but i like to get this size and just cut it. How i want to cut it. I love tape, y'all, but please stay tuned to find out. You know why tape did not work out for this particular wig. Make sure you guys stay tuned, the whole video? I will be explaining why tape didn't work out and why other adhesives may not work out for this particular wig or lace. Rather, i'm just going to say lace, all lace is different. Lace is not equal. It'S not just one type of lace, so be very, very careful uh when applying your wig and just know, what's up what to apply with and kind of how to apply it. As you guys, uh can kind of see in this clip i am experiencing some show through from that tape, but the wig is absolutely beautiful. All right - and this is straight out of the box - i haven't done anything and the wig does have slight layers to it. Not nothing too crazy, but slight layers. So i'm going in i'm cutting the lace off, be careful on this part, because once you cut it off honey, you cannot get it back all right. So there's not a race you're, not racing to cut the lace off. Just be careful cut it off piece by piece and try to do it kind of jagged because it makes it uh have like a more natural type of look so imma get into playing with these baby hairs child. I'M trying to do this modern day thing that everybody is doing: um like on tick tock and on instagram, with the curling edges and then going back and um and styling the child y'all see i'm doing the best. I can i'm i'm a little school won't come with the ogs on youtube, but i'm making it work. I love me some baby hair, so i'm not going in with any gel i'm actually using some a bed head holding spray because i love the way it does. My edges, i feel like it, does my edges better than gel and i like to go in and cover my edges afterwards, so honey them the edges, all right, i like them, y'all might not like them. I know a lot of people don't like edges, but i'm feeling it i'm really feeling it. You know what let me live. Let me live, the more edge is the better. I love it. So now i'm just going in for like a more so sleek look just trying to get that puffy look from the top. I want mine to be more so flat. The body is cool, but so that's the finished look shot and it was literally minimal effort in these next clips that are coming up. I will be explaining uh more of going in detail more about the wig and also about adhesive, so make sure you guys stay tuned and leave me some comments below bye, guys, hey y'all, welcome back to my channel long time, no see, of course, but let's hop Right into this review, alright y'all, so you guys already know where this wig comes from. It comes from ian hair company, so i have been cooperating with this company for some time now. The wigs are always a1 spot on all right. I will leave the specs and everything down below if i can think about the top of my head. I think this is 22 inches and the density. I think it is 180 density, like i said, i'll, leave it down below. So this is a lace front wig. So i do get parting from a lace from ear to ear. Okay, so this is how long it falls on me. I did get a request to start standing up in my video, so y'all can kind of see. So i am five seven and this is where the wig falls. Okay, right underneath my boobs, i love love, love the length okay, it's falling kind of like a 24 28 ish on me, like it's falling pretty long and i'm here for it. Okay, so here is the parting okay. I am thinking that this may be like a 13 by six, but, as i stated, i will have that be low. So this is what the wig looks like. It did already come with a few curls in it, but i went and put a few more in it. It also came like pre-plucked, which was beautiful if you as you guys, could see in the beginning of the video. So i didn't have to do a lot of plucking, but you guys know i do like to go in and kind of pluck on my head a little bit to kind of customize it all right. So i also chose to go in with some chunky baby hairs, guys um and i'll - probably switch them up throughout the course of me wearing the wig, but for right now i'm kind of loving it. This is what works for me. Of course, i did not have to do the baby hair. Look. I could have just did like a sleek natural hairline. That would have been great, but i love baby hair so make sure you do something that you really like um that you really like to do. Okay, so this hair is super super soft and it does have a sheen to it. I'M gon na stand up, so you guys can kind of see it just bounces, it's buttery, it's pretty cool um. It does hold a curl. I put like a really slight light. Curl in it because it already had curls in it when i got it all right, so i'm gon na show you guys a product that i use kind of at the top which the hair already had like a shine to it. But i did go in with this i'll leave it down below, because i don't think this is going to focus okay. So this is like a shine spray that i put kind of at the top to kind of give me the glossy type of glam. Look: okay, honey, all right, i'm filling it with the 22 inch, what they call it bust down. All right, i'm trying to get with the with the terms but anyways the hair is super. Super super cute. I didn't cut any layers in it or anything me personally. I love like the long like flowy. Look, i don't really like the layer. Look, it's just not! You know for me all right, so i did find that the lace on this wig is a lot thinner than some other types of lace that i'm used to working with, which is a good thing, but the only thing about that is whenever you apply the wig You'Re going to have to make sure you do some sort of a ball cap, so i did like a mini ball cap um in the beginning. I didn't do anything too harsh. I literally just laid the cap down with a little bit of bed head spray and i kind of cut off the excess okay, so i didn't do anything like too drastic. I didn't use any glue to lay it down. I didn't lay it down from ear to ear. I just laid it down enough in the front that that's it, because it's all i really needed, but i like that the lace is thin because it does give you a more natural look. Okay, definitely definitely definitely more natural. Look. You get a lot of freaking parting space, so this is how much parking space you get and i can still take the part back this far okay. So i absolutely love that if you would like to wear it on the side, you can definitely wear it on the side. If you would like to wear this up and a ponytail, you could definitely wear up in a like in a high ponytail, a half up. Half down you can do all that with this okay, so i did apply this wig with tape. I do like using tape just because of the simple effect it is mess free, hassle-free and it's so easy to take down. I don't have to worry about a lot when i use tape versus glue, i feel like glue is just super messy and i just don't like the fool with it. Okay, but with this lace being really really really thin, i would say that this isn't the best lace for tape, because i am experiencing a little bit of show through. So if the sun shines, you know the sun shines or whatnot people may be able to see the tape kind of showing through a little bit, but i don't always get that. It just depends on the lace so with this particular wig. When i, when i'd hear it again, i'd use some kind of uh, maybe got to be, or some bed head or i would, i probably would go in with glue if i wanted it to be on for a longer amount of time. Okay, so the type of adhesive that you use is going to going to depend on the wig you and the lace. Okay. So keep that in mind, i think that's pretty much it guys um i'll check out, eon, hair company. Like i said, i will have all the specs down below they're always doing really really good sales.
