Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so in today's video, I'm finally bringing you guys what you've been asking for, and for this I got my hair laid in late December. Yeah I've been like girl. What is this? Is this a lace? Wig? Is this a front though, like I needs to know so you guys this is my very, very first full lace wig, but I have to say I am loving it. So I got my hair done here in New York City by a hair stylist. I will leave all her information down below so girl. If you are in New York City, make sure you did your hair slayed by her, but she told me what to do how to maintain it, but I'm not a professional at all. You guys, I'm not a professional, but I think I've been doing a pretty good job, so this video, I'm gon na, show you guys like exactly what I do to maintain my hair and how I lay my wig and how I leave my baby here and all Of that good stuff, if you are new, though be sure to hit the subscribe button, turn your notification about fonts and if you guys, are interested in other stuff like beauty or becoming appliance in it. I got you covered. Follow me on Instagram, especially if you love to cook, because I do it off. You have tips from me or you know, say: hey girl. You could use this product, you could do this, do that, I'm definitely open to it have to say since switching from the closure gang, so the full lace wig gang yo. I am here for this rho5, so let's just jump right in so a so I'm, starting with a clean, full lace wig, which I have shampooed conditioned and blow-dried, and now I'm just gon na brush all of the hairs out of the way, so that when I Do begin to lay the full lace wig down. I don't have to worry about strands of hair getting into the glue, because that is annoying, so I'm just gon na adjust it to see really where I want everything to lay down. Before I begin using the ghost bond glue, so first thing that I do is I go in with some alcohol because I do have makeup on my face. I just want to dab around my hairline and just make sure that I'm removing the makeup so that the lace will will stick to the adhesive. And now I'm just dotting some ghost bond glue and I'm gon na be using a makeup brush to spread this out. So I'll be doing two layers, this is the first layer. This is just really a thin layer and then I'll be going in to blow-dry it and then I'll start with the second layer. So the thing about the ghost bond glue: if you haven't used it, it definitely gets tacky and when it does that's when you know that it's ready for your wig or your closure or your frontal to be laid so really you're supposed to wait. Until it's like clear - and I always like to have a baby wipe on hand, because sometimes I realized I've put a little bit too much or maybe the glue has accidentally touched the hair. But you know it is what it is. So now I'm just pulling the full lace wig forward and putting it right on to the tacky glue and I'm also using a rat tail comb, because it really is able to get into the full lace wig or get into the lace rather and just really lay It down and do what my fingers can't do, because again the glue is tacky and I find that it gets all over my nails and it is a mess. So I always keep alcohol on hand so that I can easily easily get it off using my blow-dryer again on a cool setting just to make sure that the lace is laying so now what I'm going to be doing is really just going in sections. I find that it's easier for me to go in smaller sections, as opposed to just putting the glue across the whole hair line, because it does tend to dry quickly in certain places and what it does that, if you're not ready to lay your lace, then you Just got a glob of glue sitting on your skin and that's definitely not what you want so I'll just be playing with this going back and forth. You guys will see me just really adjusting it and getting things right and, like I said, I use two layers and yeah for beginners. Like me, I highly suggest that you have a rat tail comb because it makes life so so so much easier like even you know, you guys might not be able to see it, but there's some times or like certain little pieces of lace, stick up and I'm So particular about my hair that it's easy to be able to go in with a rat tail comb and just really really have even the smallest piece of lace you just lay flat. I also find that, with the outer part of the wig near the tabs, that for me I really really have to make sure I lay really really well, because I find that that's usually the part that I have to do like almost three times. If you will, I don't know if there's something that I'm not doing right or maybe you guys have a technique that you can comment down below and let me know to really make those ear tabs stay down, but I eventually get them to stay down. But sometimes I don't know, maybe I'm just not waiting long enough for it to dry or there's something you know with trial and error, I'm sure I'll figure it out and again. This is like my first lace wig, but you know I'm making my way baby steps. This is exactly what I'm talking about right here. You see, there's like a little piece of lace, sticking up but able to go in with that little makeup. Brush lay down some ghost fun and boom come all the way through rat tail comb. So now that everything is pretty much laying down just gon na go in and blow-dry everything one Mohan before we get to the fun part and for me just the fun part, because I don't know I just really like perfection and I feel like this is what I begin to like really protect my hair. Earrings come out, get the brushes like it's on and if you are anything like me and you was born in the south or you you know, I'm saying grew up with a mama who had a hot comb yeah. I know exactly what I'm using so I know when I was little my mom used to hot comb, my hair, but that was like the hot comb that was put on the oven. This one is actually the one that you plug in. I got this from amazon.com and I think it was not exactly sure, but it was definitely less than $ 20. So at first I was like. Oh it's not really that great, but I'll say like after you like break it in. You know how you have to really break your hair tools in once I broke it in it really. You know it really really gets the job done. I like to go through several several times to really get into the roots of the full lace wig, because it really gets most of the job done and then I have like a really great flat iron too. So I go on with that flat iron and you know get it done girl, so I'm gon na be going out with some Garnier Fructis. This is a hair, sleek and shine cream. I just use like a dime sized amount, put it on the hair, because once I straighten it, it'll really give that shine that I'm looking for, because that's exactly what I'm looking for so you'll see me going back and forth between the Flatiron and the hot comb. Just because the roots you know this is not a full lace, wig that I take off at night, so I'm actually sleeping in this and the roots, sometimes just from laying on it can get a little mattador. You know it just really depends. I mean now. It'S fully washed and cleaned, so it's really good, but you know when you go a few days, it can get a little crazy in the roots, so I like to use the flat iron and the hot combs to really just get this thing really really bone straight. I find that going in sections again, just really really taking my time to do my hair. I get the result that I want. If I rush and I don't go and you know really get into the middle parts, then I don't get the outcome that I want. So when you're doing this just be patient and you know, you'll get good results or maybe you're special, and you can just go really fast and you also get good results because shout out to you, you are the real MVP and for specifics on this hair. This is a 22 inch, full lace wig. I didn't really. I just told her. I wanted straight hair, but I know that this is actually like a wavy hair and it's actually really really beautiful. When I wash it - and you know if I'll just let it air dry first, it's really really pretty. It'S like a it's a curl. So I don't know if this is maybe like a body wave or something like that, but you know I'll leave all her information down below and then, when you guys hit her up. If you do, if you choose to totally up to you but um, you can always ask her like hey what wig was that that fierceness had and she'll tell you, but I'm really pleased with it, because you know it's obviously cold here in New York. But I'm a flight attendant, so I travel the world. If I were to go to a warm destination, I could easily just make it curly, which is dope. So now I'm done with this side and I'm gon na go to the other side off-camera and I will be right back, but first I got ta weigh that tab down that ignorant tab always wants to come up. So what am I not doing you guys? Let me know like I don't know what I'm doing, but I eventually get it some lay down so alright girl so bone straight. Okay. So now it's time to get into these baby hairs, but not before using the hot comb. Again, I told y'all, I use the thing so so much but again I get the outcome that I want going in with some Garnier Fructis oil and it's not a heavy oil at all. Usually I wouldn't use oils, but I like that sleek sleek look and it just really gives it a nice shine and it doesn't weigh the hair down. So I love that and it's said to and I'll lay down hair but yeah. So now I'm gon na go in with some Tresemme moves and just start to get these baby hairs in order, because I find that it's much easier to, I don't know just like use. The trusting looks like I was watching in a Leah J video and she used the Tresemme mousse and almost like yo like hello, because I've used it even before when I was just using it for um. My closures, like it's just so much easier and it's a it's a lightweight product. So if you're new to doing your baby hairs - or you don't really know how you want to do them because it is a process like you guys see, I sped this up, but it's like back and forth, and back and forth, it's not so heavy to the Point where once you go through and do it like it's, you know already hard. If I were to be using the got to be, then it would be a hot mess, because my my baby hairs would literally be frozen. You guys see, I have went over the same place like several several times, just to really get it. How I want it and once I do get it, how I want it. I just take some extra moves to really set it and placed, and I also put mousse right along my hair. That goes behind my ear too, because again, the mousse is not overbearing or too heavy. It just really holds everything into place, and now I'm just going to let some trust, I'm a hairspray dabbing that and blow drying it and boom. Once I done adding a little more oil and yeah, the left side is done. Y'All doing the same. Exact thing took this side. I find that this side is a little bit more easy to lay, but you know it's just. It really depends on the day. I find that this side is easier to lay. It just depends on the day girl. You know I'm just taking my little head. Crap lay that on my edges, for literally like two minutes take it off, and here we are hope you guys enjoyed well, that's all I have for today's video. I hope you did enjoy if you have tips tricks for me on how to lay this baby with other products gorilla glue whatever. Just let me know, that's a really cool.
