What is up boss, babes and welcome back to another video? This freaking episode has been my most requested episode yet, okay, now let me tell y'all something. This is how i know i love y'all, because this is my third time recording this video. The first time i had copyright music in the back that i actually filmed while i was filming, so it wasn't like put on a video. It was actually in the background, even though it was jazz music. It was an instrumental, so i thought i was gon na. Be straight that i was gon na be okay, i was not okay, it's not! Okay! Okay, the second time girl, y'all, see this little thing. I can't even see it this my mic, my mic, my mic: ain't, loyal, okay, you better be loyal today, but she wasn't loyal. The other day went out on me halfway through the video y'all, perfect video. I look good hair done makeup done. I had a little braided pony. I wanted to show y'all. When i tell you i wanted to cry, i'm like okay, god i hear you. It must not be meant for me to upload this video. You don't want the girls to get these gems what's going on, but here we are third time's a charm, so i promise y'all. If y'all don't see this video, you ain't gon na ever get it you're gon na ever see it so that y'all know this. Now. Okay, so let's rock, let's ride and y'all - are gon na see why this is the most requested video. This is a big bank series if i was starting a business, if i jazzmanye was starting a wig business. This is what i would do all right, they're asking for the queen, i'm a baby, all right y'all, so my name is jason. If you are new here, anja is pronounced like kanye. Without the k get it straight, get it right. Okay, i gave you the pronunciation. I wanted no excuse now this particular thing this particular niche, this particular market. I tried to tell y'all about a year ago. Nobody listened to me. Nobody listened to me, i put y'all alone a year ago. Nobody listens to jazz. Now, as i look up, what do you know this market is picking up, the girls are getting smart. I never been with a baddie she calmed. So i added to the tally. Oh okay, here we go. I ain't never been with everybody. She comes. So i added to the tally, but there is still money to be made. I need y'all to pay attention. Okay, so i'm gon na cut right to the chase, make sure you give this video a thumbs up, because i know i'm coming with the gym. If i was starting a wig business, i would do it a couple different ways. There'S a couple different plays you could make. So i am doing a part two to this video because there's two different type of wigs. I would say: let's talk about that, so this is just one and there's another one, so i'm gon na have to do a part two to this video y'all. So keep an open mind like i always say, for this series. Take what you need and leave the rest. Everything is not going to apply to you. Everything is not going to be, for you take what you can. Okay now. It'S also important for y'all to watch. Every episode, whether you're interested in that industry or not because there is something that you can take away from trust me, every episode builds on each other. So if you don't want to sell clothes, that's fine! You don't want to sell hair. That'S fine! You don't want to sell skincare products. That'S fine, still watch the video okay! Thank you. If i was starting a wig business in 2022, i would be selling synthetic wigs y'all. Do i got to wear synthetic wigs to sell wigs? No, do i got ta like synthetic wigs to sell synthetic wigs? No, do i need to even wear wigs period to sell synthetic wigs guess the answer no y'all know. So let me tell y'all something. This market is so incredibly great for a couple different reasons. The first reason is: there's already people outside who's wearing synthetic wigs baby synthetic wigs are not what they used to be. Okay. Now that you can't tell the difference, the major difference is the price point we're gon na get into that, though people are struggling out here. These goddamn vendors are out of their rabbit mine right now. The price for wholesaling wigs is the price of retailing. Wigs with these human hair vendors pay attention to what the market is doing. I didn't say that there is going to be a part two to this episode, but there is also two parts to this here: video y'all. So even though i would sell synthetic wigs, i would do it two different ways. I could do it this way or i could do it that way. I could do a or i could do b. I could do one or i could do two now. The first brand that i would create is luxury, affordable, wigs for everyone. Now i'm doing this on the word luxury, because the word luxury is very subjective. It depends on who you're asking what does luxury mean right, so a luxury to a homeless person could be a hot cooked meal right. A luxury to the middle class could be a weekend vacation from the kids right. A luxury to a rich person could be buying their own yacht, that's a luxury, so the word luxury is very subjective. So don't think that you can't put luxury and synthetic wigs together, because you can't it will all depend on the way you brand it and the way you market it. Okay, keep watching, keep following. Don'T let me lose you now, the second brand i would create for a synthetic wig business. It'S like i'm like 90 sure. This is exactly what i would do, but i want to give y'all two different scenarios, because maybe you like the first way, that's fine. So the second thing y'all is such a great niche. I mean you could go crazy. You could literally go bananas. You see the vision i get excited thinking about it, but the second brand i would create if i was starting. A synthetic wig business is to specifically cater it to cosplay and implementing anime throughout my entire brand experience. I don't know if y'all are familiar with cosplay. There are entire festivals conventions catered to cosplay catered to people who love anime, those people always wearing synthetic wigs and those synthetic wigs. I might add, don't look the greatest, they don't even care, they don't even care, but these are also wigs that are sold by people who do not put any effort into the brand's experience. So me, being me me having a profound love for branding will go out of my way to ensure that the entire experience is, unlike anything, they've, never seen before. I just feel like with anime. You can just go. You can just go wild in terms of your personality for the brand, the copy for the brand, the packaging for the brand, the website, the design, the whole nine. The the way, your flyers, look, how you create your graphics, the limit there is none. There is no limit like i don't think i understand now. If you are actually interested in synthetic wigs, you already kind of been thinking about it. You'Ve been having a hard time finding a vendor, i'm gon na give y'all a plug. That has amazing amazing synthetic wigs. I'M gon na give y'all i'm putting the video because cause y'all be waiting on this video. This video, i feel like this video is somebody needs to hear this video, because the fact that this is my third time recording this down video, it says a lot. It says a lot so just keep watching the video make sure y'all watch it to the end, because i'm gon na put it somewhere on the screen um. If you are interested so depending on which way you decide to go y'all both of these different brands can work. You can actually talk to the girl who feel like she's been left out, because she can't afford a 800 wig, a 600 wig. There'S a lot of girls who cannot do that, but the way you can brand it you can make her feel like her. Wig is still good enough. Her wig is still a luxury. Her wig is still nice, her wig, it's still a damn, wig. Okay. So that's where branding comes into play, y'all like you, can sell anything if you know how to brand it correctly. If you know how to mark it, like a pro a tip, i would highly recommend and a lot of people sleep on this little little thing. But if you pay attention all the pros, do it and i'll include some examples? I would give each single wig a name that caters actually to our branding. So a lot of people name their wigs real names, tiara alicia nancy. That'S fine, hey! Maybe your name nancy and you want the wig, because the wig name is. You got to think a little bit deeper y'all. You have to always consider branding so instead of nancy, if i'm trying to implement luxury into my actual branding, i may name my wig after some luxury perfumes, i may name my wig after luxury vacation spots, or you know, luxurious jewelry or like things that actually embody And reflect what your branding is. If i'm going to go to anime route, you know i'm going to name my wig after different anime characters. Different tv shows that my audience already know about they already know about. Is that making sense? Y'All are y'all picking up what i'm putting down, and this can apply to any business, which is why i always tell you how to watch every episode people connect with words. That'S how you sell. If you didn't check out the copy writing video, i need y'all to do that. Your copy equals coins. Y'All your copy is coins. So, for example, if i sell this is not about wigs, i'm over here getting off track, but if i sell skincare products, i don't want to call my body butter, just body butter. No, what type of smell do i want people to know they're going to smell when they buy this product? What type of texture is it? What type of filling does it give you know onto the skin? That'S what i'm going to call my damn product! That'S what i'm going to call it, so i want y'all to get first of all, learn more words, study a disorder study, a dictionary because you have got to think outside the box, like i remember when i was in school and we weren't allowed to use big Or large, we have to think enormous. You know gigantic. What'S another word for b: that's all i got if you got another word for big comment down below, but you get what i'm saying think outside the box and you have to add more personality out and that's what brandon is brandi is not just a logo and Your color branding is your entire business's identity. So what does that look like right? So that's just a tip name, your wigs. After what your audience is already familiar with, what do they desire? What'S something you want them to get from using your products? You can start there okay now. Another key thing to note is y'all already know: synthetic wigs are cheaper than human hair wigs, but let me tell you: baby synthetic wigs are coming up in price because back in the day, i remember synthetic wigs being like ten dollars. Fifteen dollars, and now you can go, get a synthetic wig for like fifty dollars, sixty dollars, which is more so. I feel like on a high end for a goddamn synthetic wig, but then again it depends on what you're asking right. Nowadays, you can actually put some heat to the synthetic wig, because i remember you can't do that girl. You do that you do that. It'S it's on you, you take it off it's on the flat iron, it's on the curling iron. Still you know so, but now you can use up to like 300 degrees girl. That'S that's damn near the same as that um brazilian hair y'all be buying. So it's very important that you think about the price point and what type of audience that you personally want to attract the audience that you are talking to so, for example, if i say that we are a luxury, come on y'all stay with me. If i say that you, we are a luxury synthetic wig brand, i'm going to most likely charge higher than another synthetic brand because we're a luxury right. Yes, it's still going to be affordable, but if i am trying to embody, luxury people perceive luxury with a higher price point. That'S just how we're built! That'S just our makeup! Y'All! That'S just human psychology! If you see something for a discounted rate, you're typically going to think that there's something wrong with it or it isn't as effective or it isn't as higher quality than something that's more expensive. You can deny it that's the truth right, so you have to think about that price point. There'S so many different types of people who watch anime and that's into cosplay, which audience are you specifically talking to? Oh, oh speaking, of which y'all i'm so excited. I just got so excited, i forgot to tell y'all that i'm actually doing a class on target audiences, how to figure out who your target audience is and how to find them how to find them girl. I did my consultations for march, and that was like the issue with everybody. Nobody knew who the hell they were talking to. Nobody knew how to find them. Nobody knew how to figure it out. So i'm like okay, i got ta do somebody's, so i'm doing a class. If you want to catch the live class early bird tickets are on sale. You have to check out the description if you're watching this after the live class has ended, the replay will be available for purchase as well so and if y'all are interested in booking a consultation. I'M currently offering branding and marketing consultations. They'Re 90 minutes long for the month of april and y'all can check that in the description as well. Now, like i was saying, cosplay there's different types of people. You got people, that's like 15, 16, 17, 18 they're like anime and cosplay, and you got people. That'S 30, 40 y'all, listen, you'd, be surprised, you would be surprised and they also like cosplay. So who exactly? Are you talking to? And that's also going to reflect your price point because maybe a 17 year old ain't got as much coin or shouldn't or you know it's a different world we live in now these teenagers got money, but typically the person - that's 35. 40 is gon na have more money than a 17 year old right, so you have to take all of those things into consideration, y'all and we're going to discuss that further in the target audience class. So if you need help with that which i promise you most of y'all, do you don't even know you need help with it? What you do? Okay, don't don't fight it! You do now. Let'S talk about social media. Let'S talk about how i would market this business, where i would focus on when it comes to beauty, videos outperform anything anything anything pertaining to skincare, makeup, hair nails, anything pertains to beauty, y'all videos are gon na win right in the top two social media platforms for Video right now and youtube is always going to be. There. Youtube is never going to get kicked off this pedestal, but the top two is tick, tock and youtube. So that is where i would focus my efforts. Are you saying, oh jess, so should i not create an instagram page, i'm not saying that. I'M not saying that i'm not saying that because y'all still have to do the research and even figure out where your audience is. But what i am saying is when it comes to beauty, video content, outperforms any other type of content. Therefore, you should be on the platforms that specializes in video content known for video content. That'S what i'm saying this is what i would do. This is what i would do, y'all, i'm so over instagram. I don't even talk about instagram still going to be there, but i want to talk about it, no more because there are platforms that are outperforming making businesses big bank better than instagram. So, let's not so, if i was using these platforms, i would make sure that my content hits their pain points and when it comes to synthetic wigs, you are always going to be dealing with a few different pain points. All the time people want to know, how long does it last people know? Is it going to be shedding all over the place? Can i like put some type of heat on it? How do i wash it? These are all questions you already know they're going to ask. So these are questions that you need to have answers for in the form of content y'all, and this is why, knowing who your audience is is so important, because, if you're struggling to create content, i can guarantee you without a doubt. You don't know who your audience. Is. You don't know who the hell you're talking to you? Don'T you can say i do you don't, because content is by far the easiest thing to create when you know exactly who you are trying to talk to right. So i get it all the time. People in my comments, jazz, you read my mind jazz. I was just looking this up jazz. I just was trying to figure out how to do this. Oh, i know i know i'm reading y'all mine. I know y'all like the back of my hand, because i took the time to do so right. I know my audience, therefore, my content, hello, is somebody picking up what i'm about to put down. Therefore, my content resonates with them and it's what they want to see. You know what i'm saying. So, if you're struggling you don't know your audience y'all and you need to be in my class, you need to take the class you need to take the class. Go get your early bird ticket now i'm gon na give y'all some ideas of actual specific content that you can create for a synthetic wig business just from the freaking little research that i did on tick tock and i see a pattern here. The first type of content is a video on synthetic wig tips. Like i said, people were asking the same questions over and over and over again like how do i take care of it? How do i wash it? Okay, let me do a video on that. Let me show you what products you should use. Let me show you tips on styling if you're gluing it down, which i i i don't know - people gluing synthetic wings down but hey, i can guarantee you somebody doing it. I can guarantee you. Somebody is gluing their synthetic wigs out. If you are, let me show you how to sleep with it on. Let me show you how to pin it up, wrap it up and make sure when you wake up it ain't matted to your damn head. You know styling tips y'all so like. If you got a synthetic wig this straight, let me show you how to curl it. Let me show you how to do heatless curls or how to actually use heat. If you are trying to use heat, let me show you different ways: you can style your hair. You would think that these are common sense things that people know, but trust me there are millions and millions of people who still do not know how to do simple. Styles in your hair, so don't ever feel like. Oh, they know this already give it to him anyway, give it to him anyway. Okay, the last type of content i'mma get y'all today is maintenance after your first week and it's starting to do that. Little thing at the nape, it's starting to you know what do i do? What do i do? What do i do after that? Give the girls what they need y'all and it's not difficult. You just got ta take the time to actually put in the work and look at what the people are saying. Look at what they're asking look at what they're commenting on other people's videos that also wear synthetic wigs before buying any inventory before doing any type of marketing. Even before building your website like who are you talking to i'm working on a business right now? Y'All that the brand is so extensive, it's not necessarily talking to one person so how i had to do it for the and i've never had to do this before it's totally different, but it still applies to knowing your target audience. I have a different target. I have multiple. I have multiple target audiences for every single product. It'S a headache, but i still have to do the work because, if not i'm not going to have the successful turnout that i know i can, because i didn't do the basic of finding out who i'm talking to and you just got to do it y'all. Welcome to entrepreneurship. Now i promise y'all the free vendor, but i also have some exclusive vendors. If y'all are interested at the description, i did post these videos before. So if you ever got the synthetic wig vendor from last year, these are the same ones. Three vendors that are so bomb y'all could check them out and i'm also having a flash sale on. My website, right now everything is 50 off, so that includes my ass class. If you want to learn ads, that includes my shopify class, which is over seven hours long. That was a long day, but that includes everything y'all, so take advantage of what you can. It is a flash sale. That means it's here today going tomorrow. I love you all so much and i will see y'all in the next episode. Let me know what you want to see next and i'll catch y'all later

Maria Lasonta: I had to pause the video right here!!!! To say something! I was like a fiendddd waiting for u to post this video!! That I went thru all the others just needing to hair some gems and YOU’RE RIGHT!!! Y’all watch all the other videos! Even if the business doesn’t apply, there’s Gems in them!! Ok bk to the video

Alyvia Johnson: I wanted to tap in both the synthetic wig market and the cosplay market for wigs and you brought it up in this video, this must be sign I didn’t know how I was going to apply it and go about it. Thank you for recording this for the third time ❣️

2ndofthemonth: Thank you Jasx as usual I watch your videos even if they don’t necessarily apply to me because I can always apply your ‘think outside the box’ knowledge to my businesses !! Do you think you could do a Dropshipping video next? Or service based business video? That would be great love u girlie

Lynn Randolph: Thank youuuuuuu girl I NEEDED this!!! This was made for me!

Kalani Mack: Sis I remember the video u uploaded about synthetic wigs I thought that was Genius! So im like bet ima do this .. I shop vendors then started to doubt it and of course feel the hell off lol so maybe u uploaded this video is a sign no cap! Thank you for sharing

Jasx Aigner Taught Me: Let me find out y’all be on YouTube earlier in the day now lol!

Whitney Adams: Third time was definitely it. Thank you for all the gem you are always on point

CutUpKi: Thanks boo, this is straight gems.

Fatima Evonn: Thank you. Been waiting on a video since you made the statement about this! ❤

C: Can you do a video about what types of profits we could expect for selling synthetic wigs? cause these vendors out here got me confuseddddd lol I thought about starting a online synthetic wig business years ago but I get discouraged whenever I research hair vendor prices. It seems like I would be paying almost the same price that I would sell the wigs to my customers for. For synthetic wigs I usually pay about $60 & I know non of my friends or family members would want to pay over that for a synthetic wig so if I had a store I wouldn’t really want my prices to be over $60 for most of the wigs so if I’m buying the wig from the vendor for $50-55 that doesn’t seem like a good profit to me BUT idk I may be wrong so I guess My question is how much would you pay vendors for synthetic wigs? And how can we tell if the profit will be worth it or not cause even the vendor that you gave on this video prices seem high to me for whole sale but idk I could be wrong

Nene Symoné: Would it be a good idea to sell both human hair & synthetic wigs for your online business?

Tatiana: I'm so excited to watch this video Non stop gems as usual

Jenei: If you already have a wig business but still see opportunity to cater to people who want a super quick fix with affordable prices. For example, a customer needs a wig for a last minute dinner but doesn’t have $300 for a human hair wig but she can manage a $60 synthetic dupe. Would you recommend selling both synthetic and human hair under the same brand? Or would that cause conflict with clients and your product? In terms of their not sure if to keep purchasing dupes for cheap or purchase a good quality unit.

Denise B: You’ve exposed my idea with the cosplay lol I really appreciate you thanks for this video

jasmine lawrence: Great video as usual ! But is it still money in just selling bundles only

Kavesa Umeka: girl you know me well! I might as well take the class too!

Indigo Morgan: The video is awesome! I actually thought about the anime thing before … but I said naw naw. So I might do a start up. Thank You!

Shamecca Freeman: Oh the gemsss that I just picked up. Yes girl we picking it up!!

Coco B: Omg I knew I wasn’t tripping.. I knew those wholesale prices were too high.!!

HISstory T.V.: Very informative

Ehime Sadoh: Do advise selling with synthetic and human wigs on same platform?

Xari's World: this came right on time!

NiyNiy Luv: YESSS been waiting for this .

Konfident Kayy: Girl girl talk about it!

Rheeva: Magnanimous

Valleen V. Vallere: Get it in!!!

Rheeva:

Nazera Cisse: Periodddddd

Teri Holmes: Classes here I come

I Crown Queens: ❤️❤️

VSGLife: CMON HERE NATURAL HAIR‼️

Rheeva:

Danielle Lussier: Do a lot of women wear wigs? I didn’t know this would be a hot product/big seller

Desire Her: Okkk now we on to some here

Iman Hadassah: Colossal…;)

Tiffani Henry: Lashes next?

Shamecca Freeman: Not me here early. ‍

kasia Borowicz: I don't agree that you can sell something that is "luxurious" and "affordable" at the same time. This is contradiction. You need to decide, if you sell sth affordable or luxurious? You could make luxury brand and then maybe add affordable line, but one thig can not be luxurious ( expensive ) and affordable ( cheap ). You need to know, who you are selling to. Xx
