Wig Install Using Glueless Bald Cap Method | Auburn Copper Lace Front Wig

Hey y'all, it's bree jonah, welcome to my channel. Today i'm going to be showing you a video on how i installed this wig. I got the cut and everything from i am shelly, so go ahead and check out her channel. If you have not heard of her, i have a link for you to check out this wig. If you are interested so go ahead and grab a snack and enjoy the rest of this video, so i'm going to use the yellow, even lace bond. This is the second layer that i'm using and i'm just going to use some cold heat on it. Add that all along my hairlines, i'm just rubbing it to make sure that it's completely dry and once it's completely smooth, then you know it's ready to cut off. So i'm going to try to use scissors at first, but then i went ahead and switched to a razor, but this is the first time i'm doing this method where the cap is going to go along the top of my head. So i'm just trying to use scissors for that. But then i go ahead and switch to my eyebrow razor and this just works the best for me for getting as much of that cap off without having too much along the hairline. So i'm going to carefully do that and it makes more of a rigid look to make it more natural. Then i'm going to go back in with the scissors so that i can cut the elastic separate from the cap and then just go back and forth from that. I'M going to go in and cut the rest of that elastic off of it, and so that i can put it on top of my head and i actually do like this method. I have some extra cap, so i'm going to go ahead and cut that off. So that it doesn't make a big heap when i put my wig on and then just go back in with my razor to get that excess cap off of my forehead, then i'm gon na go in with my mac powder, and i just do this so that It can match my skin tone as much as possible and just put that all along the cap, as well as the inside of the wig on the lace and i'm going to put my wig on a lot of lace on it. So i'm just going to go ahead and center, the wig on my head and cut the excess lace off so that i can see because once you cut the wig, you cannot go back and then i had some extra um cap. So i just went ahead and got that off, so it wasn't any lumps that you could see through from the wig i'm gon na go in with that, yellow, even lace bond and add that to the wig and i'm gon na use cold heat as well. Try to get the comb to get all the extra product off, but i had to go in and use these makeup wipes. I got this method from tasha and then i'm gon na go in and add the spray to the sides from the inside of the wig, and i actually like this method better compared to doing it on top of the wig. So i need to definitely do that and then i'm using this a stable elastic band and i love love love. This thing is so convenient and i'm just going to put that along my wig line and blow dry, my hair to have it as dry as possible. Then i'm going to go in and straighten the hair and if you guys are not subscribed already and you're still watching, please subscribe and give this video a thumbs up. I'M also using a hot comb to get it as flat as possible on my head and then i'm going to go back in with those wipes get rid of all the excess product so that it doesn't look so cakey and this actually works. I got these white from tj maxx and they were like four dollars so love that then i'm going to go ahead and cut the lace off i'm using this eyebrow razor and this works the best. For me, it gives a rigid look and it's perfect for blending. The lace into my skin, so i'm going to go ahead and cut the lace along my whole hairline and being as careful as possible, making sure i don't cut too much lace off and also making sure i don't cut myself, i'm going to go back in with Those same wipes and just get rid of all that product along my hairline and cut any extra lace that i have hanging out. Then i'm gon na apply some of that same spray along my hairline, and this is just gon na make everything blend in together perfectly. This is like the last step when it comes to the spray. That is very important because it definitely melts in the lace to your skin and then i'm going to blow dry on high heat, and this is going to melt everything together. So i'm going to go ahead and take that elastic band off and it is melted, love that i have some lace showing, but we're going to fix that i'm going to go ahead and take some extra hair out and cut the hair to make baby hairs. Then i'm going to hot comb the front and i kind of regret, cutting this wig, i'm about to cut it right now i got this look from. I am chilly, so go ahead and check out her channel. I think i cut it a little bit too short and i probably should have worn the wig a little bit more before i just went ahead and cut it. So i definitely need to remember that next time, so just wear the wig a little bit the length that it is to see if i like it, but i went ahead and cut it into like a bob shape for the summer, and i like it. It'S all right but comment down below. If you think i should have left it a little bit longer. I feel like i like it a little longer, but it is what it is. So i'm gon na go ahead and curl the wig and with curls. I don't know if i like the curls on this wig too, so i don't know so once i curled the wig, i'm going to go ahead and brush the curls out, give it more of like a body wave type of look, and that is the finished look.
