Uh welcome beautiful people. I am chef b. Welcome back to my channel make sure you are subscribed down below y'all for today's video we're about to style this unit from westkids.com and the hair that they sent to me is this beautiful hd, lace, 13 by 16 lace, frontal and i'm just showing you guys what The frontal looks like coming straight out of the package: the nuts are still a little bit dark and i'm going to bleach that to customize it, so it can look a little bit more natural. So i got this hair in straight. They have it in body wave and straight. I got mine in straight in 22, inches and 180 density. Now the front is looking a little bit too dense for my liking. I want it to look a little bit more natural. I want it to be flawless in the front, you know, even though it's a wig, everybody knows it's a wig we're trying to make it look less like a wig or we don't care that it looks like a wig. We just want it to look. You know a little bit more professional, so i'm just going to take my time and pluck the front. This is my method of plucking. I just make a little parting in the front and i go like over it real lightly. Like i take my time, make sure i'm not over plucking one section, so i take my time go across and just lightly pluck, like y'all can slow it down. Look at how i do the movements like it's not complicated. It'S just not plugging in one spot repeatedly. So this is how the lace is looking thus far and i'm going to take some wax stick to slick the hair back and i'm going to go over that with a hakum yeah. I keep preaching this to y'all. If you don't have a hot comb and you wear wigs regularly like girl, i don't know what you're doing, but you need a haku like you need to get you a hakum. Hakum will change your life and change how you style your units, like it will change how you style your wigs forever for the best okay. So now i'm making my little parting um. As i said, this is 13 by 6 lace frontal. So that means it's like a six inch parting space, all the way to the back, which is fantastic. If you want that deep soup situation, and so i wanted a deep soup, you know what i'm saying like i wanted it going all the way back. So that's what i did and then i'm gon na go over the parting with my hot comb to make sure that everything is laying flat. I want it to look like, like you know, somebody professional did this ish okay. So then, i'm gon na go in with some serum some hair serum to prevent frizz, because this is a silky straight hair and i did wash the hair before styling it. So you know it's gon na be a little bit frizzy and we want it to look silky straight, so i'm going to go in with my flat iron and then i'm just going to keep flat ironing until i get my desired look now. This is how the lace is looking. As i said this isn't. This is the hd lace, and so it's getting a little bit chalky it's giving a little bit too pale for my skin tone, and i want it to look like my flesh. You know what i'm saying i want to look like my scalp, so i'm going to go in with a bronzing powder from sephora and i'm just going to put that all over uh my legs. If you have a lace change, you can go ahead and do that. I don't got a lace in so i got ta use what i got now, i'm a lazy girl. I don't do wild cat method never have um, it's just not my thing not into it. I prefer to just do a quick lazy girl method. Okay, so i just tightened the band in the back so that i could get almost like a glueless type of look once you tighten the band in the back. Maybe she sits on your head flat. Okay - and i got this in a medium cap size to make sure that it's fit and aligned, and all that good stuff, and what i really love about this unit is that it didn't have a widow's peak. You guys know that i always have to cut off that extra lace in the middle, because my type of hairline i got my edges, come down near my eyebrows and then the middle is all the way back. So i'm so glad you didn't have a widow's peep. So next i cut off the lace on the sides so make sure that it lay on my ear almost perfectly. I need it to be flat on the sides and then i'm going to make some cuts on the front of the lace like this is my method of melting, my lace, to make sure that everything is even - and i do this section by section - as opposed to Just going straight across and then i'm going to go in with my ebi and spray, and i spray that on my hairline and i like this spray because it's not harmful to my edges and i like to keep my edges like. I don't play about my edges. So i prefer the evidence as opposed to um lace glue, especially since i didn't do the ball. Cap method like you want something safe, so you can use the ebi in or they got to be or whatever you prefer, and then i go in with my blow. Dryer to melt that down - and this is just my typical method of doing it - so you guys can just see how i do it's basically the same thing and then i'm going to go in with my scissors and cut off the excess leaves once my excess lace Is removed, i'm gon na spray a little bit of ebin on my fingertips and i'm just gon na dab that on there i'm not gon na spray it directly on, because i don't want it to um, be too cakey on the lace. I want it to lean flat and not so shiny, so i just do that. Then i put on this elastic band that you can get on your local beauty supply store to do the tension method so that it is a mel tid. Okay. So i wanted to show y'all what the hair looks like um, first of all, without the swoops, so that you can do that if you wish to but girl. I like me some swoops, okay, everybody doesn't like it, you don't have to do it. The hair is perfectly fine going straight back, but i like my little swoops on the side, like that's just a preference for me, so this is my method of doing my little swoops. First, i go in with a tiny flat iron and then i just spray. Some of the ebi and onto my um edge brush, and then i just brush that all in my suit. So that is just my typical method of doing that. I, like it big and fluffy um. I do only one and then a little bit of sideburn and then that's just it for me now. I just take a little bit of the ebi end and spray it on um, just out of the part that little section right there so that it lays black, and then i make a little layer in the front to frame my face as opposed to it. Just being straight, so you can make that little layer to just frame your frame your face, and it will make a world of difference with how your wig looks. So that is it. Then i go in with a little bit of powder on the parting space. Just to make sure everything is blended and even out and all that good stuff, like girl, look at this hair. So, as i said, i got this in 22 inches at first, i'm like girl, this looks longer than 22 inches. Then i remember girl. You are five. Three, i am short as hell. Okay, so my length of 22 inches actually looks almost like 30. Because of how short i am, but i actually took my tape measure measured it and this was actually 22 inches.
