Lace Wig Install For Beginners

Hey babies, welcome back to my channel jumping right into the video first of all, let's get into this okay, it's getting very much kevin kavan, cajun, spice, adore color. I don't know it's it's giving a vibe okay! I was here for this like copper, red. So, of course, i teamed up with medulla to bring you a new video and this hair actually comes pre-colored, so i did not have to do anything at all which i was in love with, because just the time that it takes to color hair y'all. Don'T get me started, okay, so i'm just really quickly showing you how to prep the wig before you actually get it nice and installed, and you all know it's going to be a glueless install, so you aren't going to have to do too too much. I did go ahead and take about an inch of parting space out of the front and begin just kind of like lightly tweezing away from the hairline, and then i combed everything back and just kind of helped everything to blend. I got rid of like that. Harsh line going across it didn't really need too too much, but y'all know. Okay, a wig sometimes just needs an extra tlc. Now i was absolutely in love with the waves that it already came with, but i decided to just kind of straighten this out. I was originally gon na do like some big juicy curls, but then i kind of just fell in love with like the way it looks straight. So this is one side, of course, nice y'all. I love this color. Is it like more orange or is it red? Is this kind of like the whole like? Is it blue or is it gray dress thing like? Let me know, is this orange or red to you um, but yeah so far, so good, i'm just going through with my three h, i laura f h. I flat iron y'all i've had this flat iron for probably about since the beginning of my youtube career like if you've been following me for a while this flat iron has been holding me down. Okay, so i took a little bit of the camera flat iron spray. I actually ended up uh, also using a little bio silk just to kind of help. Sleek everything out the hair was naturally shiny anyway, but because it's color, i really wanted to make sure that it looks nice and hydrated. And then i went over everything with my hot comb. Y'All know it's available on my amazon store and you can see just how nice the hairline actually looks now that we can see what we're working with baby. So i wanted to kind of just cut out some of the leg work with having to like hold everything down and seal it. I wanted to be able to kind of put this on and go so. I did go ahead and pre-part out the little baby hairs. I know i know sometimes i'll do the installs without them and then other times, especially color units. I just feel like because it's more of like a statement piece. I really really want to kind of bump it up a little bit. So i did add a few of those and i just kind of like pre-parted them. I ended up cutting them once it was actually on my head, but this is just a good way to kind of allow you to set the style and kind of get ready for the install. So you don't want to have too too much hair. So i did go through and kind of like tweeze out a little bit of the quote: unquote, baby hair, i should say obviously y'all. It'S not baby hair. Okay, i'm just going to cut it into shorter pieces, curl them up style them all that good stuff, but y'all. This color baby, this color. Okay! If i had to guess what this color would be just like fresh out of like a 613 and you're looking to achieve, this definitely do about three to four bottles of the cajun spice. But of course, obviously this wig takes the leg work out of it. So for the glue this install i'm going to go ahead and just put on a wig cap. Of course the company supplies you with tons of goodies. Here'S the box y'all, don't mind it. Doula changes their packaging all of the time, but we're here for the actual unit. So i have stocked stocked up on pretty much a ton of weak wig caps clips all type of stuff because of the doula. They had never failed to give me a bunch of stuff. I have a bunch of lashes, all types of things and eventually y'all know i i don't really wear those type of lashes, so eventually they'll be in some type of giveaway. They did give me a nice little like tool or brush makeup. Brush love that love the bonnet. The bonnet never goes out of style. Let'S just be honest, just make sure you don't wear it outside. Okay, so now that you have the actual wig on i'm just gon na go ahead and pretty much pull this down past the cap. You are wearing your wig wrong. If you can see the cap, i mean i don't care how big or small your forehead is. That'S your business just make sure that you cover the freaking cap. So once i got everything pretty much situated and pretty much um pulled out the remaining hairs that i need just to kind of really set the style. I could have definitely tweezed this a lot more, but i think i was okay with just the way it was for now, because sometimes you get these units you're, not sure. If it's going to be shedding. I can definitely reassure you throughout this entire styling process. I did not get any shedding outside of me like trimming off the ends and making those uh the bottom of the hair. Like blunt, obviously that came off and then i'm just gon na go ahead and hit it with the pump it up to seal everything. But yeah i didn't get any shedding no tangling, all that stuff, um, so yeah, and then the company actually ended up giving me like a wig grip or like a wig band for the edges. I love that because it actually came with velcro. So i'm like that's so much more convenient than trying to tie it at the back of your head. So shout out to you guys for that um and then once everything was pretty much set, maybe about 10 minutes later just gon na go ahead and peel. This off get my hair, all nice and tucked behind my ears, and then i did go ahead and just kind of cut this off, usually i'll use like a razor comb to kind of give that like razor effect. But it really did not matter just because you know some things, just really don't matter that much you know. So i did go ahead and uh spray a little bit about pump it up onto my little edge brush, and i use that as like a waist to kind of like tack down the baby hair without making them like overly stiff. So you don't need like edge control or anything like that. Just use a little bit of hair spray and they should lay down flat and look at that. Everything is melting nicely and that's the thing that i love about. Doing like the baby hair with the colored hair, it just kind of like seals, the style in my opinion, um, and so i'm gon na go ahead and pretty much just wrap this up here.
