How I Do Heatless Curls With Flexi Rods!!! Yolissa Hair

Hello, my mermaids and welcome back to the channel today, i'm going to show you how to get these beautiful, voluminous heatless curls that you are going to love. They will last you forever. You don't have to do anything. You just roll the hair up, put your bonnet on, go to sleep, wake up and take it out and boom. You got some gorgeous hair. This is for my girls who don't know how to curl hair with a curling iron. It'S from my girls who don't feel like doing all that you know what i'm saying you rather prep your hair the night before and just do very little anything because honey, don't nobody's got time. We got ta, do our makeup, we got ta. Do our hair. We got ta do a lot of things and i just feel like to me: curling hair is very time consuming and then i'm not even that good at it. So i would rather use my flexi rods. You can get these flexi rods from the beauty, supply store. Um they come in many different sizes, the smaller the effects, the smaller the flexi rod, the smaller the curl um. So i like to go with this size and this size, i'm not sure what size these are. But i know this one is slightly bigger than this. One it's slightly bigger than this one, so these are the two flexi rods that i like to use, i'm not sure the inches the dimension - i don't know, but i just know this is what it looks like and um they're super easy to use definitely definitely easy To use - and this was my first way of ever learning how to curl my hair, so it works for me, it's allowed me to save my hair when i couldn't afford to get a whole bunch of wigs and i can't afford to mess that hair up. I will use flexi rods, and this will last me a long time last, my hair, a long time because i'm not putting any heat in my hair and it's not going to be damaging okay, so yeah flexi rods. You can get these from the beauty supply store. Again, if you want them, different sizes is based on your curl comes out based upon the size of the rod, they're actually really comfortable to sleep in um. The material in it is is, is so comfortable, so you don't have to worry about your head hurting at night um, because i sleep with mine in so or if you want to do it on your mannequin head. You know if you you know, want to get a manikin head or whatever put it on a mannequin and take it off the next morning. That'S fine, but yeah. This is the curls and they came up really really good. On i'm obsessed, i'm obsessed with my hair. I think it looks really really pretty so, let's get into the tutorial all right, you guys. This is the hair that we're working with today. This is 24 inches brazilian body wave. This is how the wig comes. I did not pluck it, i did not bleach it. The hairline comes with some pre baby hairs that you can use, which i did use. The hair is 180 density, and this is a 13x4 hd frontal. Yes, you guys, so this hair is very beautiful. It has such a gorgeous shine and luster to it. It'S very thick 180 density is 180 density is actually the perfect density. I think i wouldn't go lower than 180 density just to get that full thickness. We are going to go ahead and flexi rod this hair. Today i am using my flexi rods. I have two different sizes but they're close to the same size, and i have my wrapping lotion. This is non-alcoholic wrapping foam lotion that i am going to go ahead and apply to the hair um a generous amount, but not soaking, wet um, just damp, i'm just going to damp it a little bit and then i'm going to go ahead and take the flexi Rod and begin to roll it roll the hair within the flexi rod um. So just comb, it put the wrapping lotion on there and comb it take a section of the hair and then go ahead. You'Re going to go ahead and take the flexi rod and make sure it's nice and tight when you wrap it and you're going to roll it up and you're going to take each end and twist it under itself. You'Re going to know that you didn't do it correctly if it's wobbly and loose so if it's wobbly and you wobbly and loose, you want to go ahead and fold it in the opposite direction. Okay, does that make sense you're going to take the hair comb? It put the lotion through it, hold the hair taut and nice, and tight and you're going to take it and you're going to bring the roller down and you're going to wrap your hair, nice and tight and then begin rolling. That is the easiest way to do it and you're going to wrap it under itself. If it is not tight enough, if it's not on correctly, it will be loose and it will be wobbling all around your head. That'S how you know that it's not on correctly! So i'm going to just show you this a few times so that you can see. I am doing this in real time. I did not speed this up, because i want you guys to be able to understand what i'm doing, but once you get the hang of it, you guys it's really really pretty, really really easy and they come out so pretty and the direction that i'm showing you Guys how to roll the flexi rods, the direction that i'm showing you how i'm rolling my hair is the direction that you want your hair to fall once you take the flexi rods out. So i, like my hair when i have curls, i like my hair, to go back my curls to go back not forward. So this is the way that you want to roll it. If you want your curls to go back and i'm just parting, each section section by section and just pretty much doing the same process, this is actually so much easier if you have a mannequin head, but it actually works the same way. If you do it on your head, it's actually really really easy, but i wanted my curls to be really really neat and i wanted to one of them to be placed a certain way, so i definitely recommend using a mannequin head or having someone help you do It it's so easy. This is like the easiest and laziest way that you can do your hair. You know how sometimes you just don't feel like rolling your hair up or you don't feel like you don't feel like doing anything to hear you just want to go to bed. You can literally take two or three flexi rods and put them in your hair and you're done put your bonnet on and you're done. That is why i love flexi rods so much because it's so easy - and you know anybody can do it. Also, when you take your flexi rods out after you've, uh set them and it's time to style the hair um, you can put the flexi rods in even with that when the hair is curly and you've already took them out before. That'S how you maintain it, you just roll them right back up again. Um super easy doesn't take long at all. Again. The hair is just damp with the foam lotion and i actually did leave these rollers in overnight, so um, but you can leave them in for a few hours or sit under the under the dryer. It is important that when you do these, that your hair is fully completely dry and then i also did add some more lotion once all of it was rolled up. I did go ahead and add some more foam lotion all over it just to set it even more and that is it you're not gon na do anything else. You don't need any water, you don't need any anything, just the foam lotion and comb and the rollers and you're good to go now here it is. These are all dry. This is the next day i like to wait until the very next day, because i want to make sure it's fully dry. This is what the lace looks like you guys. I did not bleach it. I did not pluck it. I didn't do anything to this um. This unit is perfect. It comes ready to go. You don't have to do much of anything, so i'm just going to do the quick, easy, bald cap method. This is the quick and fast ball cap method. It is not um glued down or anything like that. I'M just using a wig cap here, i'm just tinting the lace you guys - and i just put the wig cap on and i am going to tint the wig cap, but i also wanted to tint the lace as well, because i want it to be a flawless Finish even though i'm not doing the bald cap method, i still want it to look flawless, so i'm just just tinted the lace. Now i put it on my head just to make sure i i like it. It fits the way i want it and it's looking how i want it to look next here. I am just tinting the wig cap, because i want that to blend as well, and here i did not glue this wig cap down, but i am going to go ahead and lightly spray it with my even spray just so that the cap does not move and It gives me more um security, but i didn't want to do the bald cap method. This is the easiest way. Next we're going to go ahead and begin to apply the adhesive so that we can put our lace wig down. I use three coats of this. I spray one time: let it dry a little bit spray it again, let it dry again and one final time to let it dry and then i begin to place my lace within that glue once it gets tacky do next, i'm going to go ahead and just Place that lace right within that adhesive spray, we used um it's very important to make sure that it's tacky, so that it gives you a good hold. If you apply this and it's not tacky or semi-dry, it's not going to hold right. It'S not going to even place in the it's not going to. The lace is not going to place within that glue correctly, and i've also learned that it's easier for me to work in sections so pulling the first portion down is the first section pulling the side down. That'S the second portion and then pulling the other side down. Is the third portion it makes your life so much easier and you can blow dry it within each section get okay. Now these are the baby hairs that they provided, and i think it's actually perfect. I'M using these baby hairs and i actually did use a little bit more of the hair, but i think this was the perfect amount of baby hair that they left out. Um. You don't have to use it if you don't want to, but you know definitely by all means it utilize what they have given you, and i think they gave the perfect amount so just to uh make sure that my sides are are being placed down properly and They are holding properly i'm going to go ahead and take just one flexi ride out on each side, where my ear tab is just to make sure that it's laying perfectly i'm going to go ahead and melt this lace within the skin by tying a band on It so now it's been holding for about 20 to 30 minutes, so it's ready now to get the lace cut off super easy. I also have a new technique of how i cut my lace off using the eyebrow pencil i like to hold it down. Now i find that holding the eyebrow pencil down when i'm cutting. It is so much easier for me. I'M going to show you in just a moment right here. You see i'm holding it down, it cuts so much easier, and it's just to me gives it a more flawless cut so yeah, that's my new way of cutting it. So so next i'm going to go ahead and work with these baby hairs that they have given me, i'm just going to take the eyebrow pencil and just cut them. The front portion is going to be really short, little little short baby hairs and then we're going to just do the two larger baby hairs on the side. I didn't finish my baby hairs in this moment. I did go back to them. I just started forming them and shaped them in the direction that i wanted, but i did go back and fix them and i also did the sideburns as well. Next i'm going to go ahead and take my flexi rise out. It is very important how you remove the flexi rods, because if you pull them out, it's going to mess the curl up. So what you want to do is you want to open it and slowly unravel it, and then you will be able to take them out properly, just keep removing them, and it has such a pretty shine really gorgeous and you want to pull them out kind of. Like a spiral, pull them down and unravel them at the same time, if that makes sense so so now they are all removed. Look how pretty the curls are very gorgeous, not looking like much yet but hold on. We got ta go ahead and finger comb it. I like to start by finger combing it a little bit um. You can also uh put a little bit of oil, not a lot just a tiny bit of oil in your hands and rub it like a dime size amount and rub it on your hands, while you're unraveling the curls just so that it doesn't look frizzy and Um start getting unruly, but you guys it it just came out so perfect. You guys, oh my gosh. So now we're going to go ahead and just do a middle part. I just love me. A middle part can't help it love it. So i'm just going to uh put the um put the wax here, uh my wax stick and i'm going to go ahead and take my hot comb and i'm going to hot comb. This i did go ahead and add my concealer as well to the part - and that was the final thing - that i did and gave it a little bit of shake and honey. She was ready to go very easy. Take the flexi rods out and you're done pretty much and then from here when you're going to bed. You just put a few flexi rods back in, while, if you want to keep it while it's curly or you can take each piece and comb it and then roll it, while it's dry or you can do it with the curl right there with it with the Curl, it's really up to you and you can take it out and it's going to look like this tomorrow morning again and you just keep doing it like that again and again and again and it you can't mess up, you cannot mess up the only way you Can mess up is, if you don't take care of it, don't wrap it. You know what i'm saying just doing any kind of thing with it, but you cannot mess up if you flexi rot it every night. Do you guys, when i tell you when i tell you when i tell you i am so obsessed, i am so happy with the way these curls came out. You guys do the flexi rides. I'M i told you guys in another video that i i'm the bomb when it comes to flexi rods, because i feel the most comfortable with it, because that's how i learned how to curl my hair, because i'm not the best at using a hot tool or curling Iron - and i also feel like when you do heatless curls, like a flexi rod, your curls last way longer and um they're, just much bouncier fuller and they last a really really long time. This hair is going to last you guys if you want to wear it. Curly, you can absolutely wear it curly and you don't have to worry about this not being like this, because all you can do is just re retwist it put your bonnet on and take it out in the morning. You don't need no product, it doesn't need anything. You don't need no water, don't need nothing once it's already curled like this, it does not need any water, it doesn't need. Any product doesn't mean anything. You just use one of these and, put you put it all over your head, like we did it in the like. I showed you guys in the beginning. Take it out in the morning you got curls and you also are saving your hair from it. Not getting heat damaged or too much heat or too much product. This is the best way, in my opinion, to curl your hair, um uh, and you just it is foolproof. Dummy proof is easy and i love it so yeah you guys um, the hair came out. So good, thank you so much. The curls fall perfectly everything about. It is just so perfect. Like definitely do the flexi bras definitely definitely definitely do the flexi rods, the smaller the rod, the bigger the curl and it just the flexi rod just makes it really bouncy. This looks like gorgeous luxurious. Voluminous, hair and honey. Is big hair? Don'T care, okay, big hair? Don'T care and these curls are going to last they're, going to drop a little bit because they do start out pretty tight, and if you you know you finger comb it and comb it out and stuff. They do loosen up, but these cards are going to drop when they drop they drop beautifully. So you don't have to worry about anything but yeah. You guys. I love the hair shout out to yo lisa.
