Hey y'all welcome back to my channel, it's your girl, akilah, also known as kilamazing, and today i'm coming at y'all with a quick video about this wig that i got from amazon, because i was in need of a new everyday wig asap. So, of course, i decided to turn to amazon prime. I came across this kinky curly afro wig and it's by aruki hair, and this is what it looks like straight out of the box she's a little dry. She a little frizzy but we're gon na fix all that. Okay, so just a few more details about this wig, she is 16 inches actually comes in quite a few different lengths, ranging from 12 inches to 22 inches. But i went with 16 because i figured that it wouldn't be too long or too short, and also this is human hair. This is my first human hair wig that i purchased off of amazon, so i had high expectations so i'm first going to wash the wig. I'M using shea moisture's residue remover shampoo from their wigs and weaves collection. I ain't gon na lie. This wig did have a little odor to it, but you know that is expected whenever you order a wig like this, so just make sure you guys choose some good, shampoo and you're willing to put in a little work once i'm done washing it. I'M then gon na go ahead and put it on my mannequin head and then i'm going to take this flyaway and wrap mousse, also by shea moisture from their wigs and weaves collection. I'M just going to go ahead and apply that to the hair rake it through and just define some of those curls, because i really want them to pop off topic. But this wig stand is the absolute worst. One day i was going through amazon. I decided just to pick the most popular one y'all and this thing is horrible, like it keeps falling down, it's so frustrating and i can't even return it because it's past the return window, so just a word of advice, make sure you go through and read the Reviews before you buy something off amazon or you'll, be disappointed like i was but anyways child. So this is what the wig looks like. I absolutely love the texture. I love how defined the curls got like the mousse did its thing, i'm just going to go ahead and put it on. I always make sure that the elastic band is secure because i like for it to be as snug as possible, because i don't need my wig flying into oblivion. But this is what this silk top closure looks like. I could definitely go in and add some concealer not necessary, but i really do like the fact that i don't have to lay no edges. I don't have to do no swoops, no baby hairs. This is literally the perfect every day. Right now, i'm just going in with some scissors and shaping it up a little bit but yeah y'all. This is the final look like i said. I really do love the texture of this hair and i also plan on doing a twist out to this, because i feel like this would just look so good style, so stay tuned for that i am not mad at this for a hundred and nine dollars. This is the most i've ever spent on a wig like ever and y'all. I am very pleased coming from somebody that wears synthetic wigs. I just figured that it was time for an upgraded quality upgrade and, like i said i just needed like an everyday wig, so i am very satisfied.
