Some of my celebrity clientele that I can list will probably be Kylie Jenner, Nicki, Minaj, Naomi Campbell, Kim Kardashian. ( gasps ). It'S a lot., ( upbeat, hip-hop, music ). What wig This is my hair, girl. (, laughs ), But no. This is 60 inches of raw Indian hair., It's very hard to find.. It'S very expensive.. A wig like this could cost anywhere from 2500 to 3800. ( laughs ). I have been doing hair since I was nine years old.. I am now 28 years-old.. So you do. The math. Well, my mom was incarcerated at the time and I lived with my father me and my younger sister, so I pretty much stepped up to the plate to help him out and take care of her while my mom was away. And that's where I picked Up my craft for doing hair., I started making wigs when I was about 20 21.. I was doin' it first to help out a friend.. She had a cancer organization and I was making wigs for cancer patients.. My regular clients were seein'. The wigs that I were makin' and, as you know, I used to post a little video of swingin', my hair and stuff like goin' crazy., And it was like ``. Oh my God, I want one.'' And it literally turned into this domino effect and I never imagined. That'S what I would be famous for is for the wigs and stuff.. I always knew I was a great stylist, but the wigs is just. It was never a thing that I imagined., I realized. Hair was what I really wanted to do when I was probably 17 years-old, and I knew I'm going to be a celebrity hairstylist.. That'S what I wanted to do.. I actually almost gave up on hair.. I had first moved to D.C.. I didn't have much clientele. Didn't know anybody.. I actually filled out a application and tried to get hired at Hollister and ( laughs ) that didn't work out either. So I was like ``. I don't know what Imma do.'' I just got over here., It happens. Sometimes.! That'S why I said you need that time to yourself to refresh.. Otherwise these clients and travelin' everywhere it will wear you out. My favorite moments that I've done. That'S really hard.. I'Ve done a lot of crazy stuff.. Definitely Kylie Jenner Met Ball when she wore the Balmain dress with all the diamonds and the black one-cut bob was one of my favorites. Nicki Minaj Paper magazine was one of my favorites, the Minaj, A Trois. Rihanna. When I did the silver hair on her, that was one of my favorite moments.. There was one time for Met Ball. I actually did a short pixie cut wig for Kendall.. It looked great when she was dressed in her street clothes., But then, when she put the dress on it was like eh, Not gon na work.. So I literally had to figure out somethin' to do.. She had to walk out the door in the next five minutes. Before she put the dress on. We realized it wasn't workin' and we literally was like ``. Take this wig off.''. We just gon na give you a snatch-back pony.'', You just give face hair body and all that.'' And it actually worked.. One of my most memorable career moments would probably be when I did the Fade video with Teyana Taylor.. That was pretty epic. Beyonce. When I did the Halloween tribute to Little Kim., I'm never starstruck over my clients, but she was the first one where I was actually nervous.. I was like ``. I don't know if I wan na do this ,'', because I don't wan na mess: up.'' (, laughs, ), (, bubbly, melodic, music ). I attract a lot of attention, so it's like when I walk into a room whether people know who I am or not. They'Re lookin' at me wondering ``, Who is that ?'' Or ``? What does he do? ?'' The way I dress hair makeup all that. Before I was doin' what I was doin' people used to make fun of me and laugh at me and be like ``. Oh, this dude is crazy, ,'' and ``. He gay ,'' and this.. They used to gay bash me and all that., But I didn't care., I'm like ``. I have dreams.'', I'm gon na get outta here.'' And you will see what I'm gon na do.''. I like to think of myself as like a superhero., I'm like the superman of the hair, industry. (, laughs, ), It's like there's nothing. I can't do.. I like to stay on top. I like to be the best.. I don't want anybody else, tryna claim my thing or my prize, so I got ta. Do what I have to do to stay on. Top.. You just have to want it., That's the most important thing., And this is what I live by.. I eat sleep and breathe hair.. This is what I love to do.
