Hey y'all welcome back to my channel, so today i'm going to be installing this 13x4 hd lace, frontal wig by nidula hair, one of my favorite hair companies, and if you watch my channel, you know like i'm an advocate for not doing a ball cap. Okay, i do buy caps, occasionally don't get me wrong. Blind caps be looking real good, but as of lately, i just been feeling getting a wig out. I got this brown wig cap off of amazon and it still be looking good either way. So, to save more time, i literally just don't do a ball cap. It kind of also helps preserve my edges as well a little bit. I don't know, but either way right here, i'm just um cutting off this ear. Tab part. I don't normally add this into my videos, but i just wanted to show you how i do it. I literally just traced with my fingernail across my ear, and i use my scissors and i don't cut the scissors. I just glide the scissors through scissors through the part. I know a lot of y'all struggle with that, because i usually struggle with it as well, and it took a couple of tries for me to actually get it, but once you get it, it's like it's so easy. It'S like riding a bike right here. I am just going to apply my wig with my olive oil, wig grip, gel and a popsicle stick, and i just like to do one layer of this gel. I get a lot of questions. How long does this gel last so um? This gel? I normally don't even wear my wigs that long, y'all anyways so honestly at most i've gotten with this, is four days of wear truthfully um. If you're looking for a more permanent well, not permanent, but more of a long-term fix. I definitely recommend using a lace glue, because this is not waterproof. If you get to sweating too much, it's gon na come off. So just letting that be a reminder, and then i just use this blow dryer and i let it get a little bit tacky before i actually apply the lace into the glue and then i go ahead and apply the lace. And then i just take my comb and i'm just combing the hair through and while i'm combing the hair through i'm like pressing into the lace a little bit too as well, so that it adheres to the gel. And then i take my blow dryer. And i do this on a cool setting. I highly recommend doing this on a cool setting so that the lace doesn't turn white. I find that when i do like a warm or hot setting, it does dry a lot quicker, but your lace will turn white and i just hate a white lace. So, to avoid that, i recommend using a cool setting and i literally just go ahead and go to the other side. So this is the hd laser, and this is one of my favorite type of laces. When it comes to this lace, it's so invisible it literally. Just melts right into your skin, the lace. Definitely matters whenever you applying a wig. I'Ve done like swiss laces before and transparent laces before transparent is actually like. My least favorite. I hate transparent, laces but um when it comes to like swiss laces. Swiss laces are a lot thicker than hd laces, and that's why i don't really like swiss lace. Hd is just my favorite. You are going to pay a little bit more flat, hd lace, but it is well worth the extra money and then once everything is completely dry. I just cut these little slits into the lace i like to cut my lace off in sections. It'S just a lot easier. You can really just see what you're doing, instead of just putting it like all together and just straight across. So i am using my eyebrow razor when i cut this lace and y'all when you use an eyebrow razor, make sure it's sharp enough. This operation, for some reason, was just not giving i had to end up getting another one. It was so dull and it was just hard to cut the lace off, definitely use a sharp eyebrow eraser like make sure it's a fresh and new one. It will definitely make a difference in cutting your lace off and getting a nice clean cut, and if you have to like pull some of the lace up so that you get close enough to the hairline, you can definitely do that. It is probably going to turn white as you can see, but once you add the spray that i'm about to add, everything is just going to melt right into place and then i'm just pulling out my baby hairs. If you don't want to do baby hairs, you can definitely skip this step, but i got to have my baby hairs. I love me some baby hair so much. I just think it's not a wig. If you don't do baby hairs, i get that in everybody preference but um. It'S definitely my preference, so i'm just pulling out some baby hairs. I like to do a nice, even layer of baby hairs, not too thin, but not too thick either. But you know just the right amount and i'm going to be doing a little something different today. So instead of using my olive oil, super fixing spray, i'm going to be using this ebbing. Wonder lace adhesive spray instead, because i use this when i do my closures and that hole be so like good, like the hold on this spray is amazing, so i just decided to use this instead and then i take that elastic band, so they just melt everything In place some people ask: can you use a scarf? I highly recommend you get one of these elastic bands. The melt is just unbelievable um when you use this versus using a scarf a silk scarf. I'M trying to tell y'all get you an elastic band. So right now i'm about to get this wig flat. I love me a flat wig, so i'm actually going to be doing sections today, i'm going to be using my. She is bomb a wax stick and i got this from the beauty supply store and i just put a little bit of this. I don't really like to do too much of wax stick because then it can start to get a little bit oily, and i really like that. So i use a a moderate amount and i'm using my andes, hot comb that i got from walmart. I'M never sweet enough on this hot comb. Y'All this hot comb gets so hot and that's exactly what is best for getting a nice flat wig, the hotter, the hot comb, the flatter your wig is gon na get another part of having a flat wig is making sure your braids are nice and um small And i don't have a braiding pattern. I literally just braid like straight to the back, and i do have about 14 braids um. So like seven on each side, i definitely don't recommend doing any less than ten. So like five on each side, because then the braids are going to be probably too thick, and that makes for a bulky, wig and girl. The last thing you want is a bulky wig, okay, so i'm also going to hot comb. The edges of the wig as well, and i get real nervous when i do this because i'd be so scared, i'm going to burn myself, but beauty is pain. So i just take some of that hot or some of that um wax stick and then i use my hot comb and i'm kind of going it kind of going kind of fast with it like i'm, not leaving the hot comb there for too long. I'M going straight through really quickly so that i don't burn myself and then i take my olive oil super hoe, fixing spray and i just spray it on this edge comb, and i just comb this through my edges, so that it makes my edges more like sleek And kind of, like i just got a fresh perm like it: ain't like some sleek nice, natural, looking edges on a wig and then i'm just combing the baby hairs out with this edge comb just to get rid of any like hardness from the spray. And then i take my eyebrow razors to cut the baby hairs off and i'm just cutting it. Like a slanted angle, i don't really have like a necessarily a technique to cutting my baby hairs off i'm just i just pretty much cut them. However short, i want them, and then i take my pencil flat iron that i got from amazon and i just curl them in like an upward direction. This just makes it easier to shape the baby hairs and get them in a direction that i want them to go once i actually start laying them. So i just go ahead and do that on both sides and i'm taking some of these motions mousse when it comes to laying my baby hairs, i kind of just use whatever is near me, so i use the mousse first to kind of just shape them. How i want them to go and then to actually get them to lay and stay in place. I use some gel. I don't really like to use too much mousse, because this is not a waterproof. Um install it's kind of harder to use a lot of mousse because you don't want the lace to start lifting, so the gel just helps it so that the lace actually doesn't start lifting, and it also helps to shape them in like the right direction. It just moves them how you want them to move if that makes sense, i really hope that makes sense. I personally feel like baby hairs are one of the most tricky parts of a wig install. I definitely feel like it's room for improvement for my baby hairs. Like don't get me wrong, they look good, but there's always room for improvement. If you have problems with your baby hairs, just keep practicing and eventually you'll find something that works for you and to do my sideburns. I actually use some of that olive oil super hull fixes spray so right here, i'm just trying to get a nice sleek clean part, so i'm taking a little bit of that l.a girl pro concealer in the shade fun and i'm also taking this slanted angle brush. I got this so long ago in like a makeup brush kit, but if you search slanted angle brush a whole, bunch of them will come up, but this is what i use to get my part super straight and to make this makeup to not make this makeup. But to make this lace match a little bit better with my skin tone, i'm taking this fluffy brush as well as some makeup. This is maybelline fit me in the shade coconut. This is the same shade that i used to do my actual makeup and i'm just adding this to the lace and i add a little razzle dazzle to just set the hair off i'm taking some of these. You lie, i think it's you lie. Um, hair oil and i'm just applying this just a little bit like on the top of the wig, so that it looks really shiny and like just super fresh - and i don't know if i mentioned, but i did die this week, jet black. I pretty much dyed. All of my wigs that black well mostly the straight ones it just hit different than that natural brown color, look at that, it's giving it's giving everything all right. So this is the end of the video and i really hope you guys enjoy so these baby hairs grow. I did the thing okay. This is my first time trying like different like or doing my baby hairs like this and i'm so in love. This is actually one of my favorite hairstyles, just the straight middle part. You know side showing looking real cute and it's one of the easiest hairstyles to actually do when installing a wig. I don't know what about it, but it's just so easy to install it straight. Hair blends down little part jet black. You cannot go wrong like ever. This is one of my favorite hair companies. I never have any complaints when it comes to the hair. The lace is always lacing. The hair is always hairy. Everything just gives with his hair, not saying that the other companies aren't good, but i just kind of have a preference. I don't know like my 10 out of 10 recommend this hair. I really hope you guys enjoyed this video. I hope it was helpful if it was don't forget to like comment and subscribe and turn your post notifications, so you can be notified anytime.
