Resizing A Full Lace Wig Temple To Temple

How to resize a full lace wig with a headcast or measurements mainly for the temple to temple area. Some other areas are touched upon briefly.

Hi this is a resizing video and this is going to be done without the top cap inside and I use the top cap to reinforce the adjustments afterwards. So, let's get started, you will need a wig, a reupholstering needle a measuring tape scissors. I find these work better because they're so like precise and like curved multi-phase earrings, probably a clip, I mean it's going to be right. Grubber like this, it can be paraffin just something to put your head caps on or two right, sector' wig on measurements. If you don't have a head cast back scratcher banana British humor, I just can't let it go. We saved her, that's Jan I received her head cast. I was probably about mid mesh area when I received it so since it looks like it's gon na need resizing in several areas and then you're gon na want go ghoul around then take some measurements of you know what you took when you ordered the wig. So it's like circumference front to Nate all that and then record them on a sheet of paper so that you can then compare them to the wig. So those are really the only measurements that I care about, because this can be misconstrued in so many ways. Now you want to put the wig on. Oh always, remember, too, that this has a little bit of stretch, especially right here and going this way so I'll start with circumference and I'm just gon na go through and I'm gon na speed this up. While I'm doing it now, if this I usually start at not the baby here, but where the talk cap would start and what vitamins A five. So when I take this in for the temple to Temple measurement, so this is off by one. So I've trimmed about a half an inch and then I'll do another half an inch on that side. It doesn't influence this cut this. I start a little bit back from this area so about an inch from right here. I'Ll start my cut and then about an inch up, and then I just like to trim the hairs that way it doesn't get all nodded in there um. So yeah. You just went to look at this and make sure you place it down exactly where that hair was cut. I mean whatever you measured as a guide and use that as a guide and like that, and then your end of your thread, I don't know it depends on how picky you are. I like to pick up this bottom part of the lace in this crease here. So that you can't really see it, but I mean that the cap was gon na be on the top. Cap is going to be reinforcing these stitches anyhow and now I'll stop talking you and what I just did. There was just a little fold just to be safe, go back over there, another time for the second one, I'm gon na go ahead and make it zoomed in and I'll do this part off camera, but I I just didn't realize how far out it was, and My big elephant fingers were probably kind of in the way and then to finish it off, you know I try to do another in conspicuous place, should be in this little hole here. The way I closed, my nuts off or tying my knots they'll, come half of that said. I have one strand here or one string and then I will poke through in a different area so that you know they're, obviously not going through the same hole and the knot will actually do something. And then I tied these two pieces, and I do that. A bunch of times, okay, other side will be the same thing, but I'm gon na zoom in so you may stop watching now, if you feel you've got enough, but I'm also going to take measurements after this and see how it went, and I will come back To this point and tell you the minutes in, in which I do that, okay, so this is a little better still working on the temple, the temple measurement was a one inch too big. You it a half niche I'll, do about the same here, cutting the hair to use as a guide and also to avoid any kind of tangle. So we are doing a half an inch on the side, a half an inch on the other side. You can get this now, these hairs, or you can get them later, be definitely find a way to work themselves out of there. I will fold this over I'd start with, like this corner, everything will line up, okay, yep and then again I start here this little crevice, some closing it off here will be after I tie this knot, I'm just checking to see if which measurements this actually changed, Because it's the chances, are it changed a few or a couple anyway, if you make a cut here to change the front to nape, that will also shrink this circumference down. Let'S check this there's still a little bit of the top cap prep on the inside of her wig head, looks canny icky, but it's just a powder that you put on before and then rinse it off, because I could put it on the head cast okay. Well, that's good needs to be at 12 1:12, so that will be it for her now. If that ear-to-ear wasn't accurate. Actually I would have pulled it down my bad, so if you're going across the front, if that's the area, that's not accurate! Then you fold that this way, but if it's across the top, then you fold them this way it's good and then I wanted to show you the other side as well, because remember we have those flaps on the actual side that you see so sometimes it's a Large change and you'll want to go in and stitch this side to this part really is not protruding if it were a front to nape, so I usually will make an incision about three inches right here and then the same method you cut like if they're taking It in an inch this one you'll, actually cut all an inch of hair from the inside, because there's no other place for you to adjust other than right here. This part would fold over an inch. You know I will do more detailed ones as as they're needed. You know how I said for front to make I measure from where the Tod cap starts not the baby hairs, so I'm hoping that she did just see him take measured from the start of your hairline and if she did everything alright. Thank you guys, please remember to subscribe, so that I can start having the more in-depth tutorials. I think those are having them yeah content protected, so yeah. I knew a thousand followers to do that. That'S all! Thank you again.
