It'S summertime, the perfect time to wear curly unit or better, yet wear a colored unit. You guys are in luck. I got a two for one for you guys. This is a beautiful highlight unit from beauty forever hair. If you want all the details on this unit, keep watching hello. My beauties welcome back to my channel. So today's unit, as i loot is from in the intro, is sponsored by beauty forever hair. This is their ombre curly highlighted unit, and i'm going to give you all the details on this unit right now, i'm showing you guys what this look like straight out: the box and letting you get a good look at the root of this unit. So you can see what the knots look like, so i decided to go ahead and bleach the knots i'll get back to that in a second right. Now, i'm showing you guys all the goodies that are included with the purchase, as well as some cute earrings and, of course, a hair bag. So this is the unit in all is glory. This is in 22 inches, and this is a 13 by 4 unit, and you guys can see now. This is what the roots look like of this unit after it's been bleached, i'm going to go ahead and try this unit on to see what it looks like before i cut the lace. As you can see, the lace on this unit is a little lighter than my complexion. Well, actually, there's a lot lighter than my complexion, so um, i'm gon na go ahead and add some concealer to the inside of this unit just to get that to blend a little bit more before i lay the unit down and now you can see. I only add the concealer towards the front of the unit and it did darken it up just a bit now guys i told you i'll bleach the knots right, okay yeah. So when i'm done bleaching, the knots i do apply, this product called no yellow and that really helps to take the brassiness away from the knots. Unfortunately, i left it on a little bit too long and it got onto the hair and it took the yellow out of the highlight. So that's where that gray streak of hair came from and i'm just going to say it adds a little personality to the unit and we're going to go ahead and continue with this install. So i am installing this unit using my new favorite hairspray. That'S the even new york hairspray. It really go ahead and snatches your edges and i do like to combine both of the hairspray, the mega hold and the firm hole together for a really secure install. However, i have tried using the red one by itself and it does give a pretty good hold as well. So, if you're debating on trying both of these out go ahead and purchase, one see how you like it and then, if you're looking for something that holds a little longer, you can get the yellow one as well and mix them together and you're. Gon na be good to go, so i'm going to go ahead and cut the lace off this unit. You guys know the routine. By now, i like to alternate between using the scissors and my razor and i'm just going to try and get as close to the hairline of this unit without cutting too much of the hair. Sometimes i do cut a little bit of the hair. If i really want to go for that melted growing from out of your scalp look, but since this is a highlighted unit, i'm not really focused on that because, in my personal opinion nothing about this wig looks natural on me, but it's still pretty. Since this is a curly unit, i am going to add some baby hairs to this unit, so i don't really have to worry about cutting it behind the hairline. Next, you always want to go over the hairline with a damp rag just to clean up some of that excess hairspray that may have gotten on your skin and then i'm just going to take a little bit of the hair out from the hairline to create my Baby hairs, i don't like to do thick baby hairs, i'm more of a natural baby, hair type of gal. So i make sure that my baby hairs that i take out are very thin and then, once i'm finished, i'll go over the roots with my faithfully asia, beauty wax stick and a hot comb, and that's gon na just lay everything down and get this unit ready For the melt, next, i'm going to just go ahead and cut this hair to the size that i want from my baby hair and, of course, the length of your baby hair is a personal preference. You do it according to your taste, not mine. This is just the particular length that i chose to go for for this unit. Next, as always guys, you know i like to use my curling iron. It makes it a lot easier to add the swoops to the baby hair and i'm just forming it between using the brush and the comb on my baby hair brush before i tie it down with my elastic band. So after i laid it down for about 10 minutes, i took the elastic band off and then i'm just going back over that hairline with some of that concealer just to get any of the white flakiness that might come from the hair spray once it has dried In with the hair, and now i'm just going over the roots with my faithfully asia, beauty wax stick as well as the hot comb, and i'm just laying everything down you guys know i always preach to y'all. If y'all don't get nothing else from watching my videos, y'all know it's very important to make sure that you lay your hair down coming from the roots that prevents your wig from having that really wiggish look, so you just want to make sure you always allow time To make sure you handle that part of the install and next i'm just going to go ahead and wet this unit. Now that i'm done, i did add a little bit of my cantu shea butter cream to the unit. Initially after i bleached the knots and i let it dry so right now - i'm just re-wetting it just to activate those curls again and then i'm gon na go over on top of it with that cantu shea butter, i'm not using a heavy amount right now. I'M just using a little bit just to kind of like recreate those curls and give it more definition, and this is pretty much what the final look looks like when i was done right here. I actually didn't add any concealer to the parting area. I did do that later, so make sure you add some concealer to the parting area, just just to kind of give some separation and more definition to the roots, but guys i want you to take a look at the curls on this unit as well as this Colorway this is like a really unique color wave. I like it, it got the high and the low lights of the blonde, and it's really pretty and it's perfect for summer. I'M not really sure how i like how it looks on me.
