The Perfect Silk Press At Home | 30" Inches Of Silk Ft. Klaiyi Hair

Hey everyone in this video i'll be showing you all start to finish how i silk press this 30 inch unit. So if you're interested definitely stay tuned, this wig comes from clayey hair company. I ordered a 5x5 30 inch lace. Closure wig here are the goodies. That came with my package, so the wig itself. It'S a transparent lace, closure wig. So this is considered glueless, it's 30 inches and 180 density, i'm just showing you guys. It already came with the middle part in the wigs lace and i'm also showing you guys the knots itself um, it's pretty inconsistent, so i have like small knots and big knots and they're pretty visible, so i'll, be using my highest volume developer. I'M going in with my prism lights, powder, bleach and i'll, be using 50 volume developer to bleach these knots. So i'm just showing you all like a thorough, um kind of like a tutorial almost on how i make my bleaching concoction. So i am just adding in both the developer and the powder bleach and i'm using this whisk that i got from sally's and i'm just going to thoroughly mix it. I'M mixing it to the point where it's smooth, no lumps no clumps. Nothing of that sort. Super smooth so that i have the most the most power in this um in this mixture, so there we have it super smooth and it's thick. So it's not going to be runny and there's no way that it'll seep through the lace. If it does, we of course can fix it with hair dye, but i just wanted to show you guys that it's super thick, i'm going to use a popsicle, stick to actually spread the mixture onto my lace closure. I use this rather than a brush. This just helps to give me more of i guess sturdiness, so i use no yellow shampoo to reduce brassiness and i go in with my silver um purple shampoo as well, and that is pretty much all that i do when it comes to bleaching. My knots and here are the results here. I also added a adjustable elastic band for added security. The knots are a little bit over processed, so off camera. I will be using some hair dye to fix that, but what we're going to do right now is pretty much customize, the hairline so i'll be using my tweezers and wax stick. My wax stick. You can find on my website i'll link it down below, and i'm also going to use my hot comb which is going to help help just mold. This hairline get all the flyaways out the way for me so that i can see the area that i'm working with so my tweezers, though they're um dual ended, so i have a little comb at the end, so it just helps me to just you know: comb Pluck tweeze and just um, you know, get the i guess, get the best look um that i'm going for, which is this. I went ahead and added my baby hairs, plucked the hairline and all that good stuff. Now, before we soak press this unit, i am going to show you guys how it looks on me without it being so pressed or anything of that sort. So i tried it on. It fits close. Your wigs usually fit me um frontal wigs. They don't. I kind of have a large head, but yeah. That'S why i do a lot of closure: wig videos but yeah. So it's super long. It'S definitely 30 inches true to length. So let's go ahead and get into this, i'm using the chi blow dryer as the handheld blow dryer and i'm using the brush attachment to get rid of some of that pattern. I'M going to section off the hair and before i do anything i'm going to spray a light serum i like to use the simply styling spray. It just gives it an added slip and it just makes the hair super soft and silky. So i spray this first and then i go in with the flat iron all the tools that i'm using you can either find them on my website or in the amazon link down below the video. If you're interested and after i finish one section i like to go in with my generic value products, um serum - and i just generously like run it through the section of hair that i just finished working on and this just kind of it kind of seals. Everything that i did so when i decide to self-press my own hair. Of course you want to spray like, like you're like when you decide to soak press your own natural hair. You want to use a heat protectant, because you want to make sure that your natural texture and pattern reverts back by all means but see because this is not my hair. I really don't um. I don't care too much so yeah uh. This is the completed the completed. Um results, the finished results. What am i trying to say? I can't talk today but yeah. So this is how the unit looks um. Once i was done and i cut the lace. It'S super duper long. You guys, i am five foot nine inches. Well, i'm actually five foot ten! Now i think i grew. I grew an inch um, i'm using the lace gel to kind of just help. Lay the baby hairs a tad bit. You can also use this lace gel to lay your wigs down if you don't want to use glue, so yeah look at that, it's just 30 inches of silk! That'S what i'm going inside of this video, like 30 inches of pure soap, the hair there's very, like minimal, minimal, shedding like it's pretty much non-existent, but of course with where that may change.
