The Truth About Black Pearl On Aliexpress || Watch Me Transform This Unit!!!

Oh, my god guys this is just so crazy. I totally got catfish by aliexpress what bro? What are you talking about man, i'm so upset right now. I don't even know where to start hey guys, welcome back. This is your girl jody and from the intro. You know your girl got some tea for you, some crazy, crazy, crazy tea. I can't even believe myself so fast forward. I'M purchasing some here for my content because of course i'm not popping yet yet i'm not popping it for me to you know, get free, hair or stuff like that from vendors. So at this time i still have to purchase my own hair for my youtube content. So, of course i'll i was doing my monthly shopping for my hair and i came upon a website. Well, not a website on aliexpress, because you guys know that's where i get most of my units, so i came upon a vendor called black pearl, so i was sitting there with jada antia, which is my daughter and my niece, and i was saying to them wow This is a pretty good deal. This is a pretty good deal. Eighty dollars for an 18 inch, um lace front. It wasn't 13x6, which was my usual lace, but i'm saying you know i said to them. This is like a trial and error. Let me buy it because it was so cheap. Let me buy it just to see how it will be, how it will look, how will hold up and if it does then or if it's popping, then i'll definitely buy more. So you know i said. Okay, let me start over. The 18 inch is 150 density. You know, lace, front 13 by 4 and yeah body wave was the hair texture, so i purchased body wave um. The hair pattern rather purchased body wave fast forward to monday um. It came yesterday and i was working when it came so my niece took the hero out of the package and i was like which vendor is that from because, as i said, i purchased more than one. So i wasn't sure which one that was form there wasn't any name for on it. So i was like that's weird, because i've never ever purchased the hair, whether it's on aliexpress, whether it's not on aliexpress, because of course it has everything to do with branding. So i've never purchased that hair and it didn't have like a logo on the box or something in the box to identify the company that the hair was coming from. To my surprise, this one didn't have it so for me that was red flag. I know for some people it doesn't matter, but that's that, for me, is red flag number one, because if i have a business, that's booming, that's popping! I have good quality. Of course, i want everyone to know about my company, so of course, branding is key to make sure that you put your your your product out there. So red flag, number one. It didn't have any name on it. I literally had to go into my app and then i saw that it was the black pearl here that was delivered. I was like cool no problem, no brand, no name, nothing! That'S fine! Let me just move on and i'll be adding some clips. As i talk about it, i'm going to add some clips, so you guys can see so after um i passed that so i was looking at the hair and it was very thin. I'M like what is going on started to go through the tracks, because that's something that i've never done because, honestly, as i said the last time, i've never had a bad experience with aliexpress. So i haven't purchased a unit and it was very thin or anything like that. I had no previous bad experience. This is my first time being catfished because pretty much i did my research. Remember guys, i'm always on you. Do your research look at the pic. Don'T look at just the picture. Look at reviews check youtube chat. You know i checked youtube. There wasn't a lot of reviews on um black party was like three and then i was looking through the comments and everybody looks decent. Nothing too fantastic, because i don't go from the picture because i know i'm not getting what the picture entails. So i was looking at other person's review and here pictures and stuff like that everything seemed normal. Nothing too out of the way and that's why i bought it. So when i started to look through the chats, i'm like these people seem like they use literally one bundle of hair and guys i'm not lying, look, take a look normally when you're purchasing wigs the in the the wefts are normally, you know a wefts aka tracks. They'Re always at least half an inch apart for persons, sometimes if they're, making customized units when i'm making customized unit. I do an inch apart so literally from here to here at inch apart. Theirs is literally like two inches, so the gap between each weft is this big. I'M not lying. Look at the big space see look at the mixed face, so i was mad. But then i'm like you know what it's 80 um it it's not thick, but i can add tracks in it to give it the thickness so but then again that was red flag number two. After looking at the hair, i'm like, oh, my god. This unit is not even pre-plopped and it was described as a pre-pluck unit. Again that was bad, but not so bad because i like to get it at least little pre-plopped that way when i'm plucking it it's not. You know too much for me to do. I can just do you know just a small amount of plucking and then that's good, but this one i'm going to show you guys the amount of hair that i took out. Just from all of this that i plucked because the hairline was so full which i'll show you pictures too, so that was red flag number three four i was looking at it and i'm like it does not look like 18 inches. I'Ve never ever measured a unit, but i'm like you know what let me measure the lid just to see with everything going bad so far. All of these red flags. Let me measure the unit just to see if it was as described. So i got my little measuring thing and um tape measure measure thing yeah. I got that and i measured it guys. Can you believe the top was 14 inches and the bottom was 16 inches? I was livid, i was so mad. I was upset because not only did they, let me calm down, not only did they describe it as a 150 density, it was everything that it was not so pretty much. Based on what the description said. The unit was, it was the total opposite. So at that point, i'm, like you know what it can never get any worse worse than this, because you know the densities of the um. I can't even talk. The density is off. The hairline was off. The length is off what else can possibly go wrong so from there i was just over the hair, i'm looking at it. You know i was like okay. 80 dollars is not too bad. Let me try to see what best i can do. So, of course i plucked the hairline, i bleached the knots. I tinted my lace. The only pro is that it didn't take a long time for me to pluck it and then, when i did it blended in perfectly as you can see, because yeah, if you didn't know, i'm wearing the unit now, of course, maybe in jodi dia. Yes, i spruced it up, i fixed it up and it's somewhat wearable. I still don't love it. I would not recommend it. I will not buy from block pearl ever again, but i already spent the money, so i just have to do what i have to do. I did reach out to them, send them a message to tell them. I was not happy with the unit, it was not as what was described and they were going back and forth. Telling me that i should. I should come up with a solution and let them know no, i'm like no, i'm not going to even do that. I'M a diamond member with aliexpress, i'm just gon na go ahead and dispute it through them and then they can see fit whatever they wan na. Do give me half of the money, i don't mind, i you know. I hope i get something back, because this was not. It was too much work, not even the blunt cut that i said took me forever to do. Gave me so much work like this. So anyway um so i was looking black and blinky and just stringy and just thin and just ugly. So i decided you know what let me light it up a little and then i had some sienna brown hair dye um that i used previously. My nose is just itching me, so i use the sienna hair dye just to line it up a bit, so it looks better um. I had to put some curls in it. It was body wave, but i had to put back some curls because you know after you wash it, then the curl comes out um. So i had to put some curls in it because with all the curls it would just look flat. So i did this little style because, as i said, this was 14 inches and then at the bottom was 16 inches. So i had to you know, start it up a little so that it doesn't look anyway, honestly right now, looking at it, it doesn't look bad. It looks nice, i didn't, do any baby hair and i'm not it's not glued down. I use the got to be holding spring. Also. There got to be gel and just held it down. So it's not looking bad. It melted perfectly. Well, i'm not going to even say perfectly i'm not using the word perfectly when it comes on to this unit because i hate it so much it's doable. But honestly, it's not something that i recommend and that's why i'm gon na say this again. Even if you do your research honestly, especially when it's aliexpress yeah surprises, surprises upon surprises upon surprises, so you never know not only aliexpress to other places, because i've seen a lot of people buy things and it didn't come as how they wanted it or how it Was advertised so i'm not going to put it all on aliexpress and you know because, as i say, um and as i've said many times, i've been an aliexpress member for more than i can't even remember since i was living in jamaica. So i've been an aliexpress customer for years, i'm now a diamond member which is the highest status. That really doesn't do anything, but that's because that goes based on your status. It depends on how much you spend with them, so i've purchased here for myself. Hundreds up here for other people, people i've, purchased here and sold it. You know um. You know i've been doing business with aliexpress a very long time, and this is my first unit that i hated and i don't hate it because i hate it because it's so thin and i hate it because they described one thing to us and then, when you Purchase it, then that's not what you get. I hate that it would be better if they said oh thin, unit um lent iffy, you know describe the unit, as is don't tell me that it's gon na be 18 and it's not eating because, as i said, i'm not looking at the picture wanting that unit, Because i already know i've said that previously i already know: that's not the one i i'm gon na get and i can customize it to how i want it. You know so pretty much. I wasn't wanting what i saw, but i need somewhat of a decent unit, because this was nothing you know this is nothing and, as i said, i won't recommend black pearl. So if you guys are looking on aliexpress and you see black pearl scroll pass, please scroll past. I beg you to scroll past because if you don't you're going to be sorry, you know unless you want to buy a wig like you're, buying a house, and you want a fixer upper, so you can fix it up to your liking. If you want to do all of that, work then be my guest, because to me everybody likes the whole thing with the wig, because it's so advanced now so pretty much if you buy a unit of course, you want to bleach the nuts. If you don't want to have put makeup on it, you want to you know, bleach the nuts tint, your lace and stuff like that, so it blends in, but you want it uh ready-made pretty much so that once you do those little steps and then the most You want to try to do is pluck the frontal, if you're trying to you know have it more pluck or the most the most extreme is changing the color. If you didn't want the color that it came in, you should not have to be going and reconstructing this wig. So just all the cons so far on this unit, um, it's very, very thin. The wefts are so far apart. Um. I didn't like how the hairline didn't come pre-plucked. It was not shoe to length, it did shed a lot honestly. It shed it a lot. It shed it a lot. I didn't like it how you know it just kept on shedding from this time. I started combing. It out and everything the only con everything is not bad about it, the only pro so i have four cons um. I don't know if i'm forgetting anything that i said earlier, but the only pro is it blends in with my skin. It melts with my skin and then i know i can give it um two pros where it took the color good. It took the color good because otherwise i don't know how it would be looking. I did cut it a little, so this is not how it came. It was a little bit longer. I just clicked the ends, because the ends were a little stringy, so i just clipped the ends but pretty much. This is it luckily, as i said me, being jodi dia, which stands for jody. Does it all if you did not know yeah, jody dia and jody? Does it all i kind of fixed it up, spruced it up a little, and even with me doing all of that i'm still not 100 happy, and i want to make sure money is hard to come by these days. Everybody'S working hard with everything that's going on. I want to make sure that every dollar i spend i want to make sure that every dollar you spend you're satisfied with the purchase and, honestly, i'm not satisfied with this. I will keep you guys posted on how it worked out. If aliexpress gave me about my money, if the vendor reached back out to me or so for sale, keep you guys posted again guys.
