Steps don't best friends, welcome back to my channel, so this video is sponsored by your lisa. This is not my first time working with this company. This is a od but goodie. They sent me this. I believe it's a water wave wig. If it's not, then i'll make sure i put the right uh texture down below in the description box, for you guys, but it comes with hd lace and it's a front toe okay, uh she's, i think 24 inches. This is a long 24 inch wig. You guys like it was pretty long and i was very shocked because it hits on me like it's a 28 and i'm pretty sure i'm i'm about 5'3. So and i have a short torso. So wigs looks longer on me than it would look on somebody who was taller. I have my mixture all ready. I used 40 volume developer and some quick blue and i'm going to go ahead and bleach these knots, so i'm going to turn it inside out. If you hear little footprints, that's my little dog, so i'ma just go ahead and apply the bleach all over. The lace just make sure it's fully covered, um and yeah, because i want to make sure all these knots is not showing. But you know one thing i learned about when it comes to bleaching knots. You don't want your knots to be 6 13.. You do not want that because if it is a 6 13 and you bleached it that light, you are going to run the risk of shedding and that's what you not want to want to do. When you paid a lot of money for a 13x4 or any lace product, okay, you want to get it to a light brown and you want to just tone it and there go all the bleach on there. So i'm gon na let it sit and process for about 20 minutes and then i'm gon na go ahead and rinse it off. No, i don't use a neutralizing shampoo. I get access a lot, but i don't use a neutralizing shampoo. I just go straight in with water once the water hit it, it's going to neutralize it, because you're going to remove all of that um chemical processing products off of your wig, and you should be fine after that. Okay, so once every all, the bleach is all i'm gon na go. Take my uh, vanilla, no yellow purple shampoo and i'm gon na put that all over the lace and i'm gon na massage it in and make sure that all of those brassy knots is toned down because we don't want brassiness. Once we hair this wig onto our scalp, because then you'll be able to clock it back and due to everything, that's going on in the world right now, i'm gon na wash my uh my wig with ajax dishwasher liquid, because it's gon na strip whatever it is. That'S on this wig out and this wig was super dirty to be honest, so um, you know the ajax did its job after i did. All of that i did go in with um silicone mix 2d conditioners, because i did strip the wig it was bleach. I want to give some you know. I want to get some hydration back to this wig and it's going to help the wig last a bit longer and yeah. That'S what i did here once everything is done. I am going to go in and customize the hairline and add a little bit of baby hair, so i am going to use my cantu curl wave and whip mousse and i'm gon na apply that on the hairline brush it through and then i'm gon na go Ahead and pull some baby hairs out because i'm a type of person i like baby hairs, you don't have to wear baby hairs, but i myself cynthia will be wearing baby hairs on her wigs on all of her wigs okay, because i wear baby hairs with my Natural hair, so it's like you know, i want to do the same thing that i would normally do anyway. So baby hairs are not mandatory bleaching, your hair is not mandatory. Plucking, your hairline is not mandatory. Those are preferences you do, what makes you comfortable and what and what you're able to do to make your wig look as natural as possible. Okay, this is just something that i prefer to do so once the baby hair is cut, i'm gon na use a little bit of more mousse and i'm gon na just mold the hair baby hair down, and then i'm gon na do the exact same thing to The opposite side, once everything is laid and slayed i'm going to go ahead and take my um got to be free spray and i'm going to spray the hairline lightly. And then i'm going to take my wrapper strips wrap the hairline down and i am going to set her under the dryer, because i want to hurry up and apply this wig. I didn't decide to fluff her out, but she looks really good right here. Don'T she like, she looks really good she's draw all the way, fully dry and she's ready for the install. You feel me and this wig was super thick and i enjoyed it. So, okay, i was going to apply this wig with my stocking cap. Looking was looking like that, but then i could. I saw my stocking cap through the wig and i was just not having it so i was like all right. I'Ma go ahead and install this wig the following morning. So that's what i ended up doing, but i i did try to fix my stocking cap, but it was just not working. I was like i'll redo it, so i'm here on my reed done stocking cap and i'm gon na use blue tag here this week. Now this wig was a bit snug, so i'm a 22.5 if you're anything, bigger, you're gon na have a hard time wearing this wig um, because it is a snug if you. So, if you have a little smaller head, then this is a perfect wig for you. This is hd lace, so it is lighter than my skin tone. I am going to go ahead and in half to tone or color the wig with makeup, or you can use tension spray. Anything that you want to use to get it to your perfect color. Do that? Because you will have to use it if you're, if, if you have um darker complexion? Okay, so be mindful of that. I use three layers of boho active, but i only show one layer on this video because i just felt like it was repetitive. If i showed three layers and i'm the type of person that i don't like all of my wigs, no matter what glue i use slips back so in order to stop it from slipping back, i like to use the liquid gold, i put it behind my hairline And i put a light layer, i don't i don't go heavy on it. I do a light layer and then, once my actual glue, hairline is clear and ready to apply. I will lay down my lace and with the boho liquid, the gold does is take. It takes the remainder of the lace and it'll: stick it to the stocking cap, so it would not shift back, and i love this method if your wig shifts back and you use actual glue, try this way - and i promise you your wig - will not do that. So once the lace is down, i'm gon na go ahead and cut the excessive lace off with a razor, and then i'm gon na go ahead and use the baby hairs, not use the baby hairs but lay the baby hairs. But yeah you guys. This is basically the end of this video. All i'm gon na do is lay the baby hairs and spray, my hairline down with a got to be free spray and just make sure that it's melted and looking nice, but that's about it. I hope you guys enjoyed this video if you guys are interested in seeing something in particular.
