Give you hey y'all, welcome back to my channel, so today I'm going to be installing this red or really it's like a burgundy, 99j color wig, and this wig is by Arabella hair and it is a frontal. So I am going to be doing a ball cap with this wig today. Normally, I don't do ball caps with frontals or closures, but whenever it comes to colored hair, I try to always do a ball cap so that everything just Blends better with my skin and it's just more seamless. So, let's do my ball cap today, I'm going to be using my olive oil superhole fix it spray. I really prefer using this spray offer like those really like harsh or strong ones, because I feel like this. One is a lot softer on my edges and it does have olive oil in it. So it's also a lot um more, like I don't know like oily. I guess so. It just helps protect my edges a lot better and then I just blow your blow dry. That until it's fully dry, I love my dicing y'all. It blow dry so quickly. I just love it so much and then once it is fully dry. I just take my scissors and I'm just cutting along my edges. I hate I hate. I hate. I hate doing this part because I'll be feeling like I'm cutting some of my edges out. I don't know why I've been feeling like that, because I don't know I just hate doing this part but I'll be trying to be really really careful not to cut my real edges or anything like that. So I'm going to take some makeup. This is Fenty Beauty, bronzer in the shade coconutty, and I'm just putting some of this on the lace of the wig, because this wig is transparent. It'S not like a HD lace or anything, so it does require a little bit more work to actually blending it. With your skin, okay, so right here, I'm just making sure that the wig is in place. Everything is fitting good trying to see if I don't need to cut any more of my ball cap off um. So then, I'm just taking my olive oil with Grip gel and this little popsicle stick and I'm just going to apply this to my edges, I'm putting half of the gel on my ball cap and then the other half on my skin um. This gel isn't really that strong of a hole for wigs, I'm gon na, be completely honest to me. What really holds the wig and prep in place is the spray that I'm going to use, but this gel is really more so just to like get the placement of the wig in the right place, um and then use that spray to really secure that hole. So then I blow dry it to make sure it's tacky and then I go ahead and I apply that lace into the gel. No please so normally I would just blow dry um that gel to dry it up, but I just tried something different today and I just put the elastic band on it and I just kept it on for about 15 minutes and then to cut the lace off. I'M just cutting um little slits into the lace and then I'm actually going to be using my scissors to cut the lace off today. Normally I would use a eyebrow razor, but a lot like a lot of times. Y'All, I just be trying different stuff on my wigs to see if some things will work better than what I'm used to. I feel like that's how you get better at wig and styles is just trying out different things, because some things work better than what you think really works good for you I mean if you try something I don't know, y'all get what I'm saying like some stuff, That you haven't tried yet might work better than what you're used to doing so, I'm just using scissors today and I actually really like how it turned out, which is, I feel like it, was a lot easier to cut the lace off foreign super hole, fix it. Spray - and I'm just spraying this along the edges to make sure that this wig is melted in place fully the spray to me is what really melts the lace like I said, so I make sure to be generous with the spray and add enough. You do have to move quickly with this, because, if you don't, the lace is going to start to feel like it's pulling back so be quickly with the spray and then hurry up and tie it down with the elastic band. So, to lay this wig flat, I'm using my sheets while I'm wax stick in this hot comb. This hot comb is by Andy's. This is my favorite High comb yeah. This is the best hot comb to me on the market, especially for the price. I believe it's only like twenty dollars and it's just up there, it's just the essential that you need, if you do wigs um, so I'm just kind of doing it in sections I section some off add some of the um hot comb or the wax stick, and Then a hot comb it and then I just do that in several sections. I feel like this helps to lay the wig a lot flatter foreign, the edges back as well. I like to do this with the elastic band on so that I don't burn myself. So then, I'm going to take some makeup. This is Maybelline Fit Me in the shade, coconut and I would usually um put the makeup on last like this would be my last step, but this lace was just bothering me y'all. This is transparent lace. This is my least favorite lace, and it was just bothering me so I was like girl. Let me hurry and put some makeup, so this can look better and be honestly how that makeup just melted. The lace like it just looks so seamless now, like you're, getting sweats getting quick into that lace notes, and then I just cut my baby hairs at like a slanted angle um I like to do my baby hair shorter at the top and then like longer towards The bottom and then I also cut my sideburns and then here, I'm just taking my pencil flat iron. I got this flat iron from Amazon and I'm just curling them downwards. Just to help like actually do the baby hairs. It just kind of sits them in place. It makes them a lot easier to lay them, and then I am going to be laying my baby hair through my olive oil, superhome fixing spray and I'm just kind of carving baby hairs at a steam motion. This is my favorite part of a wigging style. I freaking love doing baby hairs. I used to hate doing baby hairs, but I feel like I'm getting a lot lot better at them, so I love doing this stuff. I just this actually is also like the stuff that I really be focusing on, because I'll be wanting to look good um, and it actually takes me a lot longer than what y'all see on the video. But this is like therapeutic for me. I don't know what it is about: lamb, baby hairs, that's so therapeutic, but I just love this step foreign. So to get my part super straight, I'm just taking my La girl Pro concealer, and this is in the shade fun and I'm using this loose, lengthy angle. Brush and I'm just going to trace this along my part, to get it very straight and just to Define it a lot more so that the part sticks out and for some reason the camera wasn't low enough. But I did end up cutting like the ends of this hair off, because I am going to be putting curls in this hair. I like to layer My Curls a little bit just a little bit um whenever I do curls and I'm using my Conair. I believe this is called Connor instant heat, um, curling iron. This is the one and three fourth inch barrel. I don't know, I'm I'm not sure, but everything will be linked in the description box down below and I also did flat iron, the hair towards the top. Before I start curling it that just makes it look a lot. I don't know better. I just like doing it and then I just kind of crunched the curl up and hold that heat in just to make sure the curls last a little bit longer foreign. The top of my head, I just took my hair cutting comb and I kind of cut a little bit of the hair off so that it's a little bit shorter than the bottom. Just give it a little bit of a layer, nothing too crazy foreign having problems because the end we started, you know really putting it together and it just turned out better than what I was expecting whenever I was doing it. But if y'all are interested in purchasing this wig, this is Arabella hair. This isn't 24 inches and everything will be linked in the description box down below. This is like my third time trying 99j hair, and I just absolutely love it. I think it looks so good against my skin tones. I love how it turned out, and it's just so cute like thank you guys so much for watching.
