Wig Chat! | Huge Wig Haul | Fall Edition | Coffee With The Crazy Wig Lady

Hey guys welcome to coffee with the crazy week, lady. Well, here we are on the back porch. Oh, my goodness, it's getting fall. I am so excited. I'Ve been waiting for some cooler weather we've been getting up in the mornings to like high 50s low 60s and uh, I'm enjoying it. It'S just the hint of fall, and you know I live down here in the South and we had some severe hot weather this summer. Oh, my goodness, did we ever so just to have this Breeze, I'm outside, of course, you're going to hear my wind chimes going off. So please just excuse all the noise, but I just want to be out here with you and let's just talk and chat, I ran a poll on my insta stories about doing a wig haul. Did you want to see a wig haul and it was overwhelming? Yes, so I'm going to show you some wigs that I have now some of these I reviewed some of these have never been out of the box. There'S just a little bit of everything, so I thought I'm just going to take a few minutes. Show you a few wigs, the ones I have not reviewed. I will review them on my YouTube channel so watch for those. This is not going to be, like, I said, a wig review. Let'S just chat about wigs and what we love about each one and what maybe we're not so crazy about on each one. As you know, I'm a breast cancer survivor and just to tell you a little back story on that when I, when I found out, I had breast cancer and of course I knew I was going to lose my hair uh. We had one little wig store here in the town I lived in that I live in and um I went to that wig store and they had maybe 10 wigs, and I tried a wig on and I remember like it was yesterday. I thought to myself. There has to be something better, there has to be something else, and I took myself to Dallas and I did a little research and I went there and I found a place and I got my first wig Noriko Corey I'll, never forget it. I still have that. Wig I have reordered that wig many times. It got me through a very rough time in my life it uh. It really did. I put that wig on and I remember them thinking. Okay, I can do this. I can do this. I went home and I shaved my head and I never looked back and I would encourage you if you are walking that Journey to know it's hard enough as it is. The wind is really blowing. You know it's blowing, my camera even so bear with me, but I'm not gon na edit this out, I'm just gon na. Let life happen all around me because that's what we're doing we're just talking on the back porch, like I said if you're walking this journey, it's hard as it is with everything you have to deal with. If you can get your hair and get a wig that you love and you're comfortable with it will make things a little easier for you. You know it is. It is difficult. There'S no two ways about it. That is a difficult journey and I just I can remember so well getting getting up and going to work in the morning and I would put my wig on and I would think okay, I can do it, I can make it and I did, and you will Too so enough about that, let's talk about wigs well, I have on I love this wig. This is belletress, Miss macchiato and this color is butterbeer blonde and you know, like I said, I'm not going to be able to show you everything about this wig, I'm sitting here on on the glider. You know I just want to talk to you about a few of these wigs. This butterbeer blonde is so pretty. I love this color. I love this style. I feel like it's flattering for most face shapes because it's a little longer here, it's at a good place. I'M a fan of up and off my face. You know that if you watch my wig reviews, you know I seldom I like hair away from my face now I love a bang. Don'T get me wrong, I love a bang, but I don't like things that come down into my face that I have to worry with that drives me crazy, but you know my trick: I'm always going to spray a little water. I want to separate my fibers and the reason I do this people ask me all the time. Why do you spray water? It'S very simple. I like to separate these fibers see what I'm working with here, it's great for flyaways. Now you can use some wig hairspray and do the same thing, but my basic way of starting every time I put a wig on is I just spray it with some basic water and that I loosen up these fibers. I don't like fixed hair. I never have. I feel like a lot of times. A dead giveaway for a wig is something that is too fixed. I want it messy. I want it out of my face. I wanted to have some movement: if you run your hands through it and get it your fingers down to the cap, pull them out, you will get more movement and more of a natural look. That'S my opinion. Everybody'S got an opinion, that's just how I like to do it. So that's what I do, but this wig really is a beautiful choice. If you're looking for something like this, it's not too long. These are heat friendly, fibers, of course. So you know you have to take care of those and I've told you a million times, and so this is a million one. When you take off your wig put some sort of detangling spray through it. I like this John Renault HD, smooth detangler. I can't count the bottles I've been through, but when I take my wig off, I will spray the ends of it and I will run a little always right wide tooth comb through the ends make sure there are no Tangles, and then I put it back in Its box and I put it away and when I'm ready to wear it next time, it's ready to go now, of course, as you wear these wigs and they rub on your collar and just every day, wear and tear you're going to have to add some heat To these ends, you can easily do that with a hot airbrush a little any. I have a really small, very small, curling iron, very, very small watch. Your temperature always keep your temperature by the manufacturer's suggested temperature. Some of them vary a little bit so be sure to check that out before you get started, make sure you have a curling iron that has a temperature gauge. You do not want to burn. You do not want to Scorch this hair and ruin this hair. It is easily ruined, so be very, very careful, but a lot of times I'll use that little tiny, curling iron and just run it through the ends smooth out those ends, and you will get most much much more wear out of your wig. So that's Miss macchiato and we'll take her off if y'all have not seen these wig grips wig studio, one has these weak grips and also all of these wigs I'm going to show you every one is from wig studio one, but they have these wig grips. Now that I like that, have the elastic back, I have a video on them on my YouTube channel and on my Instagram I believe and they're great okay. So that's Miss macchiato, butterbeer, blonde lace, front and mono part. That is a nice wig. I have this one in, I think coconut silver, blonde um sure a couple other colors, but I like it that much as a matter of fact, that's what I'm wearing today all day. So I'm just going to leave it out because I'm going to put it back on okay recently, I don't know if you saw or not. I was so fortunate to take a trip to Washington to see Andrea at week. Studio. One well was that a fun trip went with some friends, some fellow workers, and we did Steals and Deals while we were there. I don't know if you saw it, we did. We just had a wonderful time, stayed up late at night. Talking visiting a girls trip, it was fantastic when I was there Andrea, gifted me, a new portrait mode and SS cappuccino, and thank you, Andrea y'all. She is the most kind person I think I have ever met and she is just a gem for sure. Okay, so you know I love portrait mode. I have portrait mode in SS biscuit. I think I might have it in a red, I'm not sure um portrait mode is a contender for my uh favorite wig this year now you know, upstage has been my favorite wig for two years running. There are two contenders this year. It'S going to be a hard choice and I haven't made it yet. I'Ve already had people ask me: what's your favorite, I don't know yet. I haven't made up my mind. I won't make up my mind until December and then I'll, let you know I'll. Do my uh yearly favorites and we'll see what I come up with, but look at portrait mode, this lace front. It'S gorgeous. I love the fit of this now. You know upstage is hand tight. This is open wefted. Ah, let me get it on straight now. Y'All! You know I'm doing this in the in the phone so wouldn't be like if I could see in a mirror, but I'll do the best I can is. This is a beautiful wig. It has like. I said, look at this lace front. The highlighting around the face is beautiful. The shape is gorgeous it's shorter than upstage same process. You know what I'm going to do. I do not know how you can beat this wig so popular so so popular. I have not steamed this one, yet I am going to steam it off my face. I like that again, I don't like things falling down into my face, so I'm definitely going to steam it but wow what a beautiful Style so so pretty have no idea what it looks like in the bag. But yes, a winner here with portrait mode for sure. Okay, I'm gon na put it back up now I have stored this one. Like I said um, I got this when I was in Washington and I didn't want to travel with the box, so you can always travel with your wigs in uh one of these storage. Little bags - I do this all the time when I travel I'll, take them out. I store my weeks at home in the Box. They come in. However, when I travel, you know you've seen me do it before I put them in a Ziploc, and I take almost all the air out press them down like that, and you can I do it inside out. You see how I put it in there and I lay them flat in my luggage or my carry-on or whatever I'm going to do, and they travel perfectly like that. So to come back from Washington, I just put in a Ziploc - and I don't have the box for this one. So I'm just keeping it like this. That'S perfectly fine! Okay, let's see one, I have not tried on okay. This is adoration Gabor and the color is light red light red. Okay. This is what I bought on clearance at wig studio, one if y'all are not checking that clearance section. Please do I stopped that clearance section. Believe me: they have some wonderful, buys there. Oh okay! I'Ve I have seen this color I've reviewed this color. This has so much beautiful, highlighting in it look at that adoration and light red. I think I've reviewed this wig in a different color y'all. I can't remember you have to remember. I think I have four or 500 videos, so I can't remember every wig I've reviewed, but I've reviewed a lot. This is a basic cap very basic, so I'm curious to see - and I know there's going to be a little bit of hermites here. So, let's see oh, that breeze feels so good y'all, just don't know how happy I am for it to cool off a little bit all right. Let'S look at adoration yeah. I know I've reviewed this before. Okay, it's really big on me. Like I said, I have a 21 and a quarter inch head circumference and this is quite large, sweeping bang wow. This is cute. It'S highlighting light red. I'M going to review this again. I want to really give it a good look, a good review. This is a perfect everyday style. Okay, it's a basic cap and we talked about the permatease there's, not a lot of permatease. Here there is a little. Let me see, there's a little at the nape. It'S just not overwhelming. Now. Listen, I love permatease. So maybe I'm not always the best person to describe Heritage because I like it um, but if you do not, some people don't want anything to do with it. I totally get that, but I'm telling you this is not a lot of permatease see it's sleek. It'S not a lot of permatease here. Let me spray it just a little. I could pin this, even though this does not have a lace front. I could put a little pin in this tuck it behind your ear and have a look there. Yep, like I said this would be an everyday wig. This would be a perfect first wig. It has some length on it. I don't know the specs offhand. I'D have to look them up, but you see it has some length again. I would definitely spray this with some detangler when I took it off, but yeah nice little Style glad I got that one like I said: don't miss that clearance section at wig studio one you can get some fantastic buys over there. So pretty! Okay, let's see! What'S up what's next and like I said I always put things back in the box, that's just how I like to store them. Let'S do Gabor. This is everyday elegant and Rusty. Auburn one of my very favorite Gabor colors is Rusty. Auburn. I think they did that color they hit a home run with it. This one again still has the tags. I got it on clearance, lace, front and a mono part. Look at this Rusty Auburn. My dogs are barking inside. You hear that if anyone comes anywhere down the street, I know about it. They let me know, look how pretty this Rusty Auburn is: okay, okay! I like the waves in this. I can tell already the shagginess I like these little shaggy Styles um. I think they're casual and easy to wear. It'S really big again on me. I just want to kind of give you an idea of the fit. Well, I don't like these little wavy styles color. Oh, my goodness, like I said just one of my favorite Gabor colors. I just know how to make this red yeah easy to wear easy easy to wear. I would need to bring this in a good bit. I like this with something casual like this, throw on and go good job Gabor. Okay, let's see what do I want to look at next? I'M gon na put this one back in its box and y'all. I seriously have the best job in the world. I don't take it for granted. I am thankful that I have the opportunity to show these beautiful, wigs uh, who would have known. I will be 62 here very shortly, and just the thought that I would have this opportunity thanks to Andrea at wig studio one. She gave me the opportunity to show these wigs and I will be forever grateful to her. It has been a passion. It is something I love to do and I would have never dreamed that my path would have gone in this direction, but it did - and I am so glad that it did. I have met some of the most wonderful, wonderful people on this journey. Okay, one of my one of my all-time favorite. I love colifia beltres polyphia. This color is Roca Margarita blonde. Look at this color, I'm sure you're familiar with it now beachy waves, it's what it just has been for the last couple years. Right, everybody loves beachy waves. I did not ever think I would be able to wear it. I now I love it, but you all know me: I'm not no one's gon na tell me what to wear. I am going to wear what I want to wear and I would encourage you to do the same. I do not care if anyone else thinks it looks good on me or not. I do not care. I want to put on what I like. It might be short, it might be long, it might be curly, it might be bored straight. I it depends on how I feel that day, and that has been the most freeing thing to me, is just to finally say put all that chatter away and say: I'm gon na wear what I want to wear and I want to wear what I think looks Good and what I am in the mood for, and once I finally quit caring what other people thought it was a new world. So, if you're struggling with that, I'm just going to tell you just: do you do what makes you happy? This has a lace front and a mono part. This is a nice wig. This is a little longer. This is wild and crazy. Okay, that's all right. We can do wild and crazy hair hair. If we want to - and you know yes - it's just a lot of hair - I would have never normally worn this hair, but I'm going to tell you I like this hair. Now this is one I really put my water in, because I want to kind of tame. There'S a lot of flyaways here I kind of want to tame those a little and the water does that for me, you can see how I'm just running my hands through it. I'M not going crazy, I'm just going to finger style this hair and I am going to enjoy it now. I can put a headband on this. I can a lot of times. I will take the front, and I will twist it and I'll bring it back and I'll put some kind of fun clip in it. Do whatever you want to do. This again is a longer style that you're going to need to make sure that you take care of the ends of this, but it is a fun little style and it comes in some beautiful, beautiful colors for sure yeah. Why not Olympia so many people like this wig? This has been a really popular style for beltress and, like I said, the beachy wave has just been the style for the last couple of years um. I think, due to the fact that it is so casual and it does not require a lot of Maintenance - you just put it on and let it be what it is. Okay, what have I got here? I'Ve got Gabor. This is spirit, I don't think I do know. I got this on clearance. I don't think I've ever still got the tags on this. Color is brown gray. Okay, I'm going to tell you. This is probably not my color, it's a little dark for me, but I'm gon na show it to you, because so many people love these colors. This does have some gray running through it, not a lot. I don't. I don't see a lot of gray in this wig, but that is the color. They have listed brown gray. Now I can tell already that this would be good. This is a basic cap very basic. This would be. I would need some styling cream. I think something to really um. I like these shorter Styles, when you can Spike them up, make them really fun, but, like I said this, color is a little dark for me from what I normally wear, but I would definitely see exactly what I'm doing. This is how I do every new style - and I cannot see that in here, but you could pull this down. This is really really large on me. Just to let you know, I would put you know that um Trestle or wig wax. I would spray some of that through here and try to get some texture in here and get a really non-fixed look and just let this be spiky and fun. I'D push it behind my ears. Just like this, you can put a headband on with this. You could pull this more all across and do more of a longer sweeping look Lots. You can do with these little Styles. Don'T let anyone tell you, oh you can't style short wigs. Yes, you can just use a little imagination. Get your hands in here. Pull this out just have fun with these short wigs all right! That'S that one! Let'S continue on! I have two more don't mean to bore y'all to death, but I wanted to show you some of the weeks I had and what I've what I've gotten on clearance and it's just kind of fun right. I love these chats y'all. I do. I love just sitting down and just talking to you and not on a formal level like we like, I do usually with my wig reviews, they're a little more formal. I enjoy just this casual girl time all right, oh Raquel, Welch! This is work. It and SS champagne another clearance. Fine, like I said you got to check out that clearance. Section still has the tag on it, long straight uh. So pretty. Let me look at this again: yeah SS champagne, SS 1524. Look at this mono top wow has a memory cap lace front now. This is not an extended lace front. I like an extended lace front. This, however, is not we'll look at it. When I put it on see how that looks, I just like the look that you get sometimes here you will get a transition where it stops. That'S not always my favorite look but we'll see how it looks when we put it on again large now I would well really big. I would wear this probably in a low ponytail. It'S a little long for me just to wear down. I wouldn't wear it down. Like that low, of course, it's a mono top, so there's no permatease up here. This is super sleek. Now let me think to see about this lace front. Okay, it stops right here. It'S not noticeable here like a a big transition, because the hair covers that and goes goes over it. So you don't get an obvious transition here, like you do on some of them. This would be nice. I'M gon na have to try to style this one like in um. I could braid this. I think I could do some updos in it. It'S got some flyaways driving me crazy here all over the place and that's not my favorite either. Okay, so lace front. I could steam this off my face, I think, would be nice on this wig. If you look at if you're looking for something long, this length with uh. No, you know no permatease here low density. I can feel this mono top running all the way to here. Yeah, you could do some fun updos with this easily easily. This is a pretty color too. I like this color. Let me show you the top okay Raquel Welch nice. I got some goodbyes on the clearance. I got some good finds there. They update that site every day and actually probably more than once a day, I'm not sure about that, but I do know they update it every day. So that's always can go on there every day see what they've added and grab yourself some good good bites. Okay, one more beltranis, amaretta and butterbeer blonde I've had this wig in So Many Colors Over the time and another, I'm just going to tell you another beachy wave still has the tag got it on clearance. Like I said you know a lot of times. I see I have wigs that I really love and I've worn a lot. I will. If I see one on clearance, I will grab it as a backup because you just cannot beat the price. It'S something you know you of course there you cannot return the wigs that are on clearance. However, if it's a style you already own and love, It's a Wonderful way to get a backup. Sure amaretta is a super popular style for Bell tress, and that is it put it on and you seriously are out the door again with the water right. This fits me actually they're a little large. This one doesn't fit as large. I don't feel like I feel like this is a fairly good fit. I might bring it in just a little, but it really is a pretty good fit, and these - and I like these - also in the fall and winter, I will wear a hat with this again heat friendly fibers. You know you're going to have to take care of them, but I love a hat in the winter, with a longer wig like this, it's just especially these wavy ones and put on a cute. I should have brought a hat out to show you, but they work out really cute with these. Okay guys, that's what I got. That'S the wigs for today, my little wig haul.
