{Beautiful!} Jon Renau Alessandra Wig Review

The Jon Renau Alessandra wig is long, synthetic lace front wig in an absolutely GORGEOUS style. I gave her a full write up on my blog: https://cornerofhopeandmane.com/jon-re.... I then promptly forgot to upload the video and even though it's been forever since I posted about her, I'm showing off this style to you now. Better late than never?? :)

Alessandra officially kicked off my obsession with Jon Renau's color 10RH16 (or, in toppers, 10H16), and I've been wearing this color ever since.

10RH16 is a neutral light brown with ashier blond highlights. Those that require warm styles will likely NOT enjoy this color. However, if you look best in neutral and cooler tones, this is a great light brunette color.

This video will give you a complete review about Jon Renau Alessandra, as well as show you the lace front up-close, and even the inside of the wig cap.

She's an awesome wig that I've kept on rotation when I do wear wigs, because she's a great dupe for my Top Secret topper (I've reviewed her, too, and will link to that video at the end of this one).

Hey guys, so this is going to be a review of the genre, no Alessandra wigs, so this is a wake that they picked up around the Sun cyber monday time last year I had posted on the blog. I was thinking of choosing this one or I think it was Adriana which is more a little bit shorter, more of a weightier style, and I decided to go with this one because I just loved the way she looked in the pictures. But it's always so hard to tell because the models and the pictures are drop-dead gorgeous and it's you know. How does it look like on a real-life person? I hadn't seen a lot of reviews out there or a lot of images, so I thought I would pick it up and I'm so glad I did so. I am definitely a topper girl, I'm gon na be a topper girl for a while, but I'd love to experiment with wigs on the weekends um. So hence why I tried this one and I love her, so the color is a little bit lighter than I would typically wear in the genre no line. Typically, I would wear an 8 H 14, which is a little bit of an ashy medium brown with dark. I believe it's called dark golden blonde highlights, so this is ten. Are each sixteen, so it's a little bit lighter and a little bit warmer, but I have to say I actually like the color. I tend to go very ashy. That seems to be what works best with my skin tone, but this color really really really works, so I think this might be will see my new genre now go to color. So here is Alessandra. You can see she is a long wig, not the longest, that they carry by any means, but she definitely has some length on her she's got long layers. They'Re graduated all the way down some face framing pieces. I actually really like her parted on the side, which is how I normally wear my hair on the web. All the stock photos showed the gorgeous model with the hair Center parted and actually really like the way it looks with the deep side part. So my wig long layers, let me show it to you from the side: it's really nice down the back, and hopefully I don't get out of frame. But when I show you the back, she just lays really really pretty and the choppy layers at the bottom give it give it a nice little kick. So I really like her. She is a lace front wig and what the lace front does is allows the hair to be lifted a little bit off the face. So when you don't have a lace front like the Noriko Milan top right that I typically wear, it could sometimes appear a little flat around the hairline. So if I turn to the side, you can see right here. The lace allows the hair to lift off from the face a little bit which girls with some natural volume in their bio hair, have that mine ever did, but I'm glad to get it in a wig. So let me show you a close up of the lace front. Did you do so? You can see it looks like the hair is growing right out of the lace, I'm not displeased. With this lace front I haven't must around with it at all. I would probably take some of my Joan Rivers great hair day powder and blend a little bit of that right onto the lace to blur it a bit. Typically, I would pluck a hair or two also outside of the lace, to help help just make it look. A little bit more natural - I haven't done that, yet this is almost straight out of the box. The only thing I did to it is I thinned it a little bit on the side here so because I tend to wear my hair parted over this way. It sometimes can look a little bit thick on this side and it still looks a little bit thick on that side. I might take the thinning shears to it yet again and to see if I can get the density down just a little bit, but overall I really really really like her. I think she looks really really good, so let me show you, I'm gon na, take her off and then attempt to put her back on using my camera as a mirror. So let me show you the inside hate to see her go. Okay. Here'S me um here is the inside of Jean Renault Alessandra, so you can see she's got the mono top here, it's mono directional, which means you can part her. As I have on the right. You can part on the left. You can part it on the center. You can see the lace front right up here, temple to Temple days so it's hand tied at the top and then it's machine wefted around the sides. This is pretty standard of genre, knows synthetic caps. She is adjustable, she just got. What is it the velcro right here, so you can adjust these probably two inches or so this way, or this way to help fit your head better and then she does have velvet ear tabs on either side. So you use these to get a snug fit on the sides of the hair, so she moves pretty well just when you style, you will get a little bit of tangling in the back. You will get that with any long-legged synthetic or be a human hair. You will have to brush her a couple of times during the day I initially wore her a few times in the holiday season, with a black kind of slick coat that I have. I didn't notice the tangling as much, but today I wore her out to lunch with this like raggedy sweatshirt that I have and it's got a little bit of a texture to it, and I did notice that I did experience more tangles on her. So it's unfortunate, but it's gon na happen with long wigs synthetic human all of them are gon na. Take all Eponine in particular, so that's her she's a gorgeous color, absolutely gorgeous color. I love it so much okay. So let me put it back on see if I can make you with the camera as a mirror, always a little bit of an experimentation. Okay upside down. She goes okay, look like cousin it for a second find the ear tabs there about centered. So this is where she should be approximately, never close there press that get her go. This is actually a lot harder on the camera than I thought it would be. Definitely we need to get in front of my mirror and take a little bit of a closer look, but this at least gives you a bit of an idea. I'M a near Tucker come on my go-to style anyway, so there you have it. So she definitely has some volume. I wouldn't say it's the thickest, just synthetic wig. I'Ve tried by any means, but it certainly isn't the lowest density. I actually I quite like this density. It'S to me it doesn't look Wiki um. Some people might disagree. I'D hope not let me know what you think, but I think this is really an ideal, an ideal density for a long, long hair. I just think she's absolutely gorgeous so there you have it. Jean Renault Alessandra in the color is ten are age. Sixteen so far gets two big thumbs up for me. Doesn'T take a lot of tweaking I've only washed her once so, not exactly sure the longevity of her with daily wear, which I do not do. You should expect synthetics to last somewhere in the three to four month range. She retails, I think, for just over three hundred dollars, so I typically only buy synthetics when I see them on sale. If I can get them in the low $ 200 range, all the better, but she's a lot of fun, I love her. She shows up really nice and pictures. Oh and the best thing was there is no dry shampoo on her. This is how she comes so she's, not super fakey shiny. She just looks like healthy hair, so I love it. I love it. I love it. I recommend it would love to see. You guys try her and I would love to see some different colors on her it'd be great to have a huge library. Genre, no colors as time goes on so two thumbs up, give her a try, thanks for watching

MB D: Great, real, thorough, wig review. The wig is lovely on you, and totally undetectable. I am so tired of wig company videos, and PR photos, which are totally deceptive. We need to see wigs on real wearers. Thank you so much for your help.

Lara MacDonald: Such a great review - thank you! It looks gorgeous on you and so natural! Jon Renau’s are some of my favorites.

Staci Heart: I just ordered this wig after watching your review probably 20 times! lol I kept pausing between 6:57 and 7:03 to see the layer that you tuck behind your ear. You say you are an ear tucker but it would be awesome to see how it looks untucked for a bit. Nonetheless, this was an amazing video review. I've been looking to go back to brown. You made it possible for me to take that leap. Thank you.

C: This totally looks like your hair. Color and shape suits u perfectly !! Gorgeous

KattsTracks UK: It suits you beautifully! The colour is lovely and looks fab with your makeup! Good choice! ❤

Christen Sturkie: Some reviews say this wig tangles a lot after the first month or so. Do you feel the same way?

Karen: You have sold me on the color!!! It is exactly how I would have my bio. hair highlighted back in the day! You were talking density...what is the lowest density JR piece you have experienced? Thanks for your help and amazing reviews!

C: Looks very realistic !

raeann cardoza: i want her in 8/32 but thinned a bit. my renau collection is starting...haha. i have alopecia and JR wigs and youtubers like you are the only things that i can be happy abt when dealing with this....haha thank u for the time and effort in reviews!

calamityp: Definitely does not look wiggy. Looks very "real". Great color. Very pretty on you! Would you share which dry shampoo you use for shine, and what you use to wash your wigs & toppers (soap)? Thx! :) Patti Kay

Lisa Brown: What type of thinning shears work best?

Elizabeth Currie: Which do prefer, Alessandra or Camilla? You look great in both!

SONJIA Edwards: She looks wonderful on you. I think it looks better on you (more natural) than on the models on wigs.com Love the color.

Brenda Botzer: I love it

BelleDeJour224: Will this fit small cap?

Kalpana Surti: Can you do the review for Courtney from Jon renau?

BeaSiegal: Good Lord woman you could sell a running shoes to a turtle lol

Go Kaleo Style: GOR. GEOUS.

Buttercup111: I do like your reviews on the color and you have great lighting but I think both toppers and wigs look so fake on you because you have the part so far to the side at the end of your eyebrow. I think if you tried to have the part where your eyebrow starts it would look very real. Just a suggestion. PS. we have a similar face frame.

Hindenburgstrasse: Probleme ? so wird es dir besser gehen ! https://youtu.be/M2D61HyMFJg
