Foreign today's unit is from idn and I thought today would be a good day to do a tips video you know over the months I would say my wig and stalls have definitely changed. They'Ve actually changed for the better, and so I'm going to share some tips with you guys in this video. So we can all get our wigs to look magnificent if we're still wearing wigs so for tip number one. When you're using a hairspray hold down the front of the lace, slightly firm to avoid the lace from getting wrinkles. So what I mean by this is when you first spray it. It'S obviously still very wet right if you just go ahead and just blow dry that it's not going to stay in place and you do risk getting wrinkles on the lace now once you've gotten wrinkles on the lace, you basically have to uninstall and then reinstall and Then it's a whole mess, so hold it down in place firmly, not too tight, but firm enough to where it's in place, and you like it. You want to make sure that the hair is super dry. So before you start styling, it's important to make sure that the lace is dry from the Hairspray so for tip number two cut the lace close to the hairline and in sections as you can see, I'm starting off with the left side that I'm going to do. The middle and then the right side, it makes life so much easier, but if you're still confused, I do have a super detailed tutorial which I've Linked In this video right. Here you can go ahead and click it watch it and it is super super detailed. But I do this because it makes life easier versus just going from Air to air you'll, see when you're actually doing this as well for tip number three: a crusty hairline. Sometimes you cannot avoid it. Sometimes it is what it is now the way that I clean. This up is I just clean up with more hairspray, but be careful. You don't want to overdo the hairspray, because then it'll just look very thick and just unnatural, but you want to put enough and then carefully use the back of a comb or the rat tail comb and place it at the edge of the lace and blow dry. It now your blow dryer does not have to be on super hot. It could be on warm. It could be on cool. You just want to hold that in place to get away the crusties. So, as you can see, I didn't really speed up this portion of the video, because I wanted to show you how much time it takes. It is a very tedious process, but it makes all the difference when you're done so any excess that you have of the product. You can go ahead and just use a paper towel with some water and just wipe it off only on your skin, not on the lace, but, as you can see, I'm not just going from ear to ear with the hairspray, I'm literally just going in and spot Fixing like spot doing spot Corrections. So at this point it's still not perfect, so don't freak out, but the point is: we've gotten most of the crusties away and we've gotten the lace to lay flat. So before we get into tip number four, I did want to talk about this uh company a little bit more, so IGN actually means I Define natural and it's basically practical, beginner, friendly and natural, and this is their scalp knots wig. So the lace is made to look like scalp and that's exactly what it looks like. So what I love about this particular company, is they actually make their wigs like how wigs used to be made back in the day like where the whole front part of the lace is actually laced, and then the back is the Caps? What I mean by that is you see you see how I'm flat ironing this part right now. Do you see how large that part is how long that part is, that has to be about a good four inches. Many companies are not making it like that. That would actually be only two inches on the left and the right side, and then the middle would probably be six inches long, so they actually make it like how we used to make it on the actual sewing machine. So that's one thing I'll give them is really giving more bang for your buck. Like you have more styling options, I could actually do a deep side. Part if I wanted to right on top of my ear. Hair is amazing. I love me a good kinky straight. So for tip number four, I would say: use hairspray and the hot comb combo to flatten the roots on the lace. So I'm going to be using this hairspray from dry bar specifically because it just smells so good and it does not make the hair crunchy. So when you're doing this, you want to spray it a little. You don't have to spray too much. Your hair will Sizzle, it won't burn off those Sizzle and that kind of sounds scary in itself, but you're gon na just gently run the flap run the hot comb over the roots after you've sprayed, and this is going to help to get the roots as flat. As can be, if you're putting your hair in a ponytail and you have to hot comb, your hair back go ahead and do row by row using the hairspray and the hot comb. It will make a huge difference for tip number five. Now I don't really care for big baby hairs, sometimes - or I would say all the time so I like to scoop out a very small amount. So I'm going to use a scissors to go ahead and just trim those off. You can use a razor comb totally up to you, but I would say scuba a little bit if you're not a fan of huge baby hairs, you can hot comb them in the direction that they will be going in. You can curl them and then I like to go ahead and use hairspray and put it on an edge control, brush and basically brush my edges into place. True Friday, foreign part styling has come to an end. I added some layers and this is how it looks when it's super straight, but keep watching, because I showed you a nice hairstyle like that. I think you're gon na really love starting now, all right, you guys. I wanted to finish showing you guys how I style it right now we're just crimping it we're about to go out um. As you see I've gotten the best use out of this wig, which I always tell people. I can't see myself. I always tell people like get the best out of your wig, because wigs cost so much money, so I don't think you should be doing one hairstyle, which is just a middle part or a side part, and then that's it. I like to actually make sure my wigs are worth the investment because they ain't cheap baby. So what I'm doing right now is I'm just casually crimping it I'm just crimping it because I think with textured here a crimped look just helps it to look so nice and even more natural. So that's usually my go-to. I feel like curls, don't last as long and textured here like they they'll give you like when they drop it'll, give you a wave, but I feel like curls like actual curls from the curl iron. Don'T last as long and textured here any texture here, not just this wig um, the hairspray that I am using is from dry bar, it's personally one of my favorite. I always tell you guys that because well, actually, I just started using it, but I always tell Tick Tock for that. I should say, and it's one of my favorites because oh years ago it's one of my favorites because it doesn't get super stiff on your hair. How some hairsprays get like extremely stiff? It also helps to eliminate that burn smell that you might smell from flat iron, the curling iron, the crimper, the blow dry or whatever, so it works for with the smell, and I think it also works by giving you that finished. Look without it. Looking like crunchy chips, I got mine from Nordstrom, but you can also get it from Ulta beauty and online and I'm sure other stores, as well or from the actual dry bar location. So I also use this dry bar heat protected Mist, which is also um, which I actually use that for smell when I'm working on a wig, because I'll taste a wig. What the hell are you protecting? I mean I just don't feel they need to protect. My hair, my wig no hair on my wigs. I do like to use um a heat protectant around the top of hair, because I feel like one. It helps my hair laid off flatter, eliminates frizz and I feel like it also just makes the hair smell. So much more better other hairsprays, so I have my wrist reasons: y'all the hair is crimped and it's all right. I guess when your hair is crimped in this texture, when it falls, it looks so like natural, like you will get. Questions asked like. Is that your real hair, or do you have leave out or something so foreign to make your life so much easier, just break it in half? I don't even try to go all the way around the circle, because you will forget some pieces part. I'M gon na break this over here here and then this part now, yes, I will put this part in half and that's it and I actually like to go up too close, because this is going to shape your head. Like you see how this is making my hair look round, I'm out the hot comb that down so don't go too close up when you get to the top, because again it's going to shape your head a little weird, and these this one is the most important To me, the front ones, so I'm gon na just take a little bit still a little bit longer on these, not from this foreign like that, you see anything more like that. All right you guys here is the finished. Look. My lips are not dumb, so I'm doing the car, but I love my hair. It came out like so good. Okay, so I told you crimps crimps will do it every freaking time baby. Every time again, this hair is from idn. It just looks so natural. Like look at the lace - and I didn't put no makeup on my part - usually I would but I feel like I don't really have to with this wig, and it just looks so good guys see ya.
