Hey guys, my name is olea and today we're just going to be doing a blonde wig install. I i guess i was just wasn't paying attention, but i ordered this wig. This is how much space it has in there. Hopefully i can see it doesn't really have much edge space. It only has like it's basically a closure, but it has space up in the front to glue it down, but we're gon na we're gon na finesse it like always so we're starting off with the straight backs. First things: first, we're going to use got to be um, putting some of my edges to basically stick it back. I do have a widow's peak, but i don't know if y'all can tell, but i kind of did shave it because it just gets on my nerves and it messes up my installs and i didn't want glue to be attached to it because it does hurt when You try to take your wig off, but yeah take an edge brush push it back, keep it pushing back yeah it's going to take an alcohol, but i got these from safeway they're, just like little pads and i'm just gon na wipe off any excess oils or Anything because they do affect how your install will turn out, especially because it will cause lifting cause lifting so let's do that yeah. So once we're done with that we're going to get a wig cap, it is. I do recommend getting like a lighter wig cap from your skin tone, because it do helps with giving you know that scalp look kind of, even though you are going to add makeup on top of it, but it does help more. So i got these from my local food supply store, even though i put earrings on, but i just wanted to look cute. So i just wanted to look cute so then we're going to cut out holes by our ears, don't cut a big hole but make a hole. That'S comfortable, i'm going to get some thread and a needle, because i want to basically keep the braids in place because i feel like when i cut the wig cap. It'S just gon na go all over the place. It doesn't really matter how you put it up. Just make sure your braids will stay now, i'm just taking the erica j um homemade out adhesive. I got the small one. I got this like last year and i haven't been using it that much because i've been trying to save it but yeah. I need to order some more because i heard that she got a watermelon one now, what do you want to try it? So i'm just going to be adding um here you want to make sure they're in front of your hairline. Not i mean yeah in front of your hairline, not on top of your hair, not too far just right in front of your hairline, because you do not want to lose no edges. We are not losing no edges over here and oh wow. Okay, make sure put a lot by the ear test because they do like to show out sometimes - and it's so annoying and the fact that everyone's dealing with this problem - it's just so funny using some popsicle sticks. I got these from walmart. I got them in the short short ones. I didn't really need them, make sure to spare smear it out like as best as you can. Don'T try to leave any clunks because it will show up under your wig when you apply it. I can't believe see how like this is what i love like like these, like these little clunks, try to smear it out, if you can, because we don't want that, but i'm going to be using this revlon blow dryer. I got this from target like a long time ago. Um we're going to blow dry it, but you want to make sure it's on a cool setting. So when you're done gluing down your ball cap, this is what you want to go for, even if you're, using bold, hold or any other glue, make sure it's clear. It'S going to go in with some scissors and we're going to cut around the rest of the ball cap. Don'T cut off too much, but don't leave too much also because you want it off and don't cut yourself be careful you! I can't believe you did this. I'M going to be using this ruby, kisses cream foundation 3d face creator. I got it from my beauty: supply store, i'm going to take a brush and i'm going to yeah. Now i do try not to put too much because to be honest, any type of foundation or anything that you put to basically match your skin this one to make it look like an actual scalp. It does affect the lace and the glue. So i say: try not to put too much so then we're not going to press press we're just going to lightly put it on there, just like the strokes and instantly. Hopefully it looks good on camera because it looks good right here in the mirror. That'S how you want it to look okay, so then go back in with our erica j or any type of glue that you have when applying your glue put it on the line. Lining of the cap basically put some on the cap and put some in front of the cap, my huh, while that's drying we're going to put some makeup on our wig. This is how it is it's not too much struggle really. So that's for sure. Okay, hopefully you stay yeah. Please do not talk about my cone because yeah just don't talk about it. Don'T talk about girls. It'S been through some struggles. You know my eyebrows are really okay. Forget it it's! Okay, it's okay! I wanted to move my eyebrows at least, but hey gave me a little. I'M gon na put this on just so we're going to be using our hot comb. I have it on 15 and i it's andis. I got this from walmart, it's been pretty good. It gets really hot. I'M surprised that walmart actually had something that actually works good, because i can try to work on the um, the middle part, to make it more flat, because this humpy look got ta go. I don't like that, so a key to having a flat, install wig install is to using a wax stick. This is called a spelling wax stick by carrot care. I got this. I got this off amazon. No, i didn't i just from response store. I don't know what these pastel, but i got it from somebody's, buy store um. It was 20. Anything just find a wax stick that helps a lot section out your hair and just put it put it on the parts that needs to be flat, because that will make it better. So so i can't believe do so now we're going to cut off the lace and i'm using these i'm using these scissors they're like really short scissors just so i can get close to the um, the lace so yeah. Let me scoot up make sure to go. Jagged um um, i'm going to use the got to be flex. Install hairspray put a little bit a little bit. Do not use a lot because it will. You know. Okay in some places i feel like could have been melted better back on. So, while i'm gon na give this a chance to dry flat iron, that i'm using is keep posey, i don't know it says: professional talon tools got it off amazon or you flat iron, your hair. You want to use um a heat, protectant and also like another. Like little oil for me, i use chi. I actually got it with a flat iron that i bought from chi and it came with this and i'm also using this garnier fructis oil. I barely use anything i like to flat iron. My hair i like to use a comb with a flat iron. I think it's called the chase method if i'm not mistaken, but figure oh um, so guys. This is how the hair looks so far pretty good, i probably will have to cut the end off. I probably will have to cut the ends. This is how much it comes up to um yeah. So let me just do i'm gon na just do the other side and i'll come back when i'm done. Okay, guys, i'm back, i finished flat ironing it. I also cut the ends because they're a little blunt cut, but it's okay. I just really needed to cut them because it was really they gave inches, but that's not the type of inches i wanted. I want healthy inches so yeah. This is the look. I don't know how i feel about it. We did a pretty good job for a blonde, like, oh, my god, the finishing book i'll, probably come back on, because i plan to take pictures because, to be honest, this wig is kind of it's tight, but it's really cute.
