How To: Best Flawless 5X5 Closure Wig Install Ft Luvemehair + Beginner Friendly

Welcome back to my channel, my name is katrina. If you are new here and in today's video, we are going to be doing a quick, a little get ready with me. I'M going to be installing this beautiful wig by love me hair, shout out to them for sponsoring this video, but we are going to be doing a full, install. I'M going to show you how i install my wigs, how i get them to look so beautiful natural and laid because look at this big. Grab your makeup grab your hair grab your wine, let's relax and get into this video. So love me: hair, sent me a 5x5 deep wave, undetectable invisible lace, glueless closure, lace, wig. That is the name on the website. You guys know. I absolutely love closure wigs, so your wig is going to come with a wig cap, a silk scarf a little pouch that has another hair, wrap bobby pins, tweezers and a cute little diamond hair. Clip that says, love me on it, so the wig came pre-plucked and pre-bleached already, but i still went in and did my own touches. I didn't have any trouble the knots on it were so small and easy to bleach, so it just made the process so easy. So we're going to jump right into this. I am not using a wig cap. I am using a stocking cap girl that is the game changer. So i'm going to be taking my foundation shade. I'M using my rare beauty foundation shade in f10w to apply that to my wig cap, we're going to be doing kind of like a bald cap method. Next, we're going to go in with the got to be glue hairspray then i like to use my finger to make sure like i'm putting the hairspray exactly where i kind of want the wig to be. You know like laid down next we're going to be taking the bold hold lace. Jelly. I really like to use this because it's kind of like a lightweight glue. I don't like to go in with the bond that i'm going to use and then go in again. That'S just too harsh for me. It breaks me out, so i like to use something a little bit more. You know like lightweight. This is like a daily type of like hair glue that you could wear and your hair will come off easily without you having to wait two weeks or use a bunch of like alcohol to get it off. So i like to use this. This is a little bit better and it also really melts down that wig cap as well. Then we are going to cut our stocking cap. I like doing voice over sometimes because you know like i can jam out to my music and be in my zone while i'm filming these videos. So when you see me dancing, you know like don't mind me, so we're just cutting that about to look like baby yoda. So this is a wig right here. It was actually really long and you'll see throughout the video, like i'm gon na. You know, put in my work and work my magic, so another tip that i learned throughout my hair journey is cutting off the little combs on the inside another game. Changer. That is going to give you a super flat, install i like to take the little adjustable clips or whatever you want to call them, and sometimes i'll double knot them and then tie them, but usually sometimes i'll just connect them just so it gives me a little Bit more of a snug fit on my wigs because you know, as you can see, i have a little peanut head. It is very small, so i just need all the security, even though we're gluing it down, but the back. You know you don't want that. Like slipping around anywhere, so just like what you do to your wig cap or your stocking cap, you need to do to the lace as well, so i'm going to be taking my foundation and applying that to the inside of my lace. Just to give you a very flawless undetectable install as you can see, it is looking like scalp, it's not even applied. So if you wanted to use this as a glueless method, this will also work as well as long as you have your elastic bands on the wig making sure that my lace is right. So i'm going to be using my princess, lock, royal bond hair glue. Any type of bond that you have i like to use mine because it really just gives me a flawless melt every single time like it. Never does me wrong so you're going to place your glue on top of your wig cap and you're, going to take your comb or some people use like the little wooden icicle sticks, and you are going to press that downwards, because you also want to make sure That you are laying down that wig cap, any parts that might be lifting this is going to give you that flawless, bald cap method. You want to make sure that you, let that glue, dry, clear so now we're going to lay down to make sure that it is straight, is in the middle and boom. We are laying it down. Oh okay, we're laying it down that little white dot that you see on my head is because i was just making sure that i don't go further than that, because i don't want to give myself a little miniature forehead. But i also you know: don't want to have no bigger forehead, so we got to balance it out so you're gon na take your comb and you're gon na press down you're gon na make sure you press down on that lace and literally bond the glue and The lace and the wig cap together so put some pressure on that when you are pushing down your way. So when you're cutting your lace, you don't want to cut in a straight line. You kind of want to give it a little rigid kind of little. You know messed up because nobody's hairline is absolutely perfect and straight and that'll just make it look a little bit harsh so doing like rigid lines when you're cutting it and just you don't have to be too neat with it, and that will give you more of A realistic effect and then for closures too. You want to make sure that you cut the little white part, the white part of the lace, because you don't want that showing so just try to go a little bit more angled and cut just that. Don'T cut any further than that, you don't want to mess up the lace, all right, another game, changer, getting some lace tint, but getting a lace tint. That is your color. I'M going to be using the true match. Lace conceal! It is a lace tint and i'm using the shade dark once i started using this uh my lace, the way that it melts down, especially with the glue it will just give you the most flawless amazing like it is gon na look exactly like scalp another game. Changer get you an elastic band. Okay, the elastic band that right there is going to make sure that your wig is flat, that that lace is flat and melted down. You can keep it on there for as long as you want to make sure that the meltdown is precise, but literally just get an elastic band. The silk scarves are nice, but they just don't do the wig justice so make sure that you get an elastic band. I'M going to take some water and some a lot of body like setting mousse. You can use a curling mousse, whatever you prefer, but i'm going to use just the water and a mixture of the mousse, just to kind of like get the curl pattern to come back. The only thing i did notice about this curl pattern is that the closure was different from the actual hair texture of the wig, which is usually normal. If you have any experience with like wigs, the closures are just a little bit different, sometimes when it's curly hair for the most part, but other than that like once it was wet. They really you know like blended together, so i didn't have an issue with that. So while my wig is melting down becoming scalp, okay, we are going to move on to the makeup. I'M gon na be doing just like a quick little makeup. You know just to. I can't have a cute install like this and not do my makeup. Okay, it was late at night, but i was still gon na do my makeup because we had to like you, i couldn't you know like no. I had to do my makeup. I just want to say i've had this wig on for about two three weeks now. I'M sorry y'all, it's been a while, since i've sat down and edited any youtube videos, y'all were coming for my neck for this hair. Every time i posted a video or a picture with this hair, no matter how many times i still commented back to somebody asking me what this hair was, somebody else would still come and be like. Oh my god. What hair is this and i'm like girl? It'S in the comments, but i love you so i'm always gon na. Let you guys know, even if you guys ask a million times, i'm still going to let you guys know what hair it is. Okay, let me get back to the makeup. Okay, so the kevin aquan skin enhancers absolutely amazing. These have changed my life, but they are not for the faint-hearted like these are full coverage and there's a lot of pigment, and you really do have to know what you are doing when you are using them, because there's a couple times where i've even used it And i'm like dang like okay, let me chill out: okay, okay, i'd be like. Let me relax on the concealer okay baby, but they're beautiful. They are such a beautiful product. I'Ve recently changed the way that i do my makeup and i'm obsessed with my routine right now. These la girl, cosmetic, soft, matte, blushes, absolutely amazing, they're affordable and they have so many shades and they just are so cute, underneath your setting powders. That is my like. I'M obsessed with putting cream blushes underneath my setting powder. I also really love to take my nose contour up into my brows. I find that this kind of gives me a really natural, like eyebrow, because i feel like what i would struggle with before was the beginning of my eyebrows. Looking so harsh and like you know, it's it's really hard to fix it without like having to add so much product to the beginning of your brows. So when i learned about putting like my contour on my bronzer in my the front of my brows, that really changed the way that my brows look, so i always have like this nice sculpted brow that still looks really really natural. Look how cute my blush is going to look underneath the laura mercier setting powder in the shade honey. Ah, it looks absolutely so cute. I'M also going to go in with the laura mercier medium deep setting powder. You guys know i like to use two setting powders a little bit of a brighter one on the under eye and then a more flesh tone, skin tone type of one on the outer parts of my face. This just gives me, you know like a nice beautiful blend and then we're going to go in with the how to beauty caring coral blush. This is from the glow-ish collection and i'm obsessed. It'S such a beautiful, like pinky, peachy, coraly type of blush, and it looks so good on my skin tone going in with my bronzer from morphe. This is the glamour bronze in prodigy and it looks so good. So this is how i begin my brows. I use my bronzer to go into my brows and then i start doing my brows. Obviously, and i've been obsessed with the anastasia beverly hills, perfect brow pencil in dark brown. It just gives me such a natural brow. It'S not too harsh. It'S the perfect shade! It matches my hair color and it's just really easy to work with i'm using the same kevin, aquan skin enhancers to sculpt my brow and then after i do my brow. I like to go back into my bronzer and brush forward and just make sure that the beginning of my brows aren't harsh and it kind of just like i said it makes them really natural and then continuing with that bronzer. I like to use it as an eyeshadow as well. This is how i keep everything looking really natural. I don't play with too many colors. I keep it real minimal when it comes to like doing eyeshadows. You guys know. I love bottom lashes. It'S just a step in my makeup, routine that i cannot live without and the how to beauty, legit lash mascara, it's so good. It is waterproof, though, so it doesn't come off that easily, but it is a really amazing mascara and then going in with my favorite dark brown lip liner. This is makeup. Mario jeff lip liner. It'S amazing and perfect for my brown skin curls, and i thought i wanted to do like a little bit of a gloss. You know just to make it pop, so we're going to be using the juvia's place. Brown sugar gloss, it's so beautiful. It'S like a natural nudie type of gloss, and it just looks so cute so time for the reveal watch this okay, guys uh scalp, okay, that is scalp, so we're gon na go in with our contour bronzer and you're gon na brush downwards. Just so you don't lift up the lace or anything or get any makeup underneath your lace, you're gon na brush downwards on that lace, and that is going to get rid of that little halo or that, like discoloration, that happens sometimes and yeah. It'S just going to look absolutely amazing and flawless install if you try this method. So now i like the hair, i, like i said, i'm just not i'm just not really a long curly, hair girl. It makes my face look really round it's a lot of hair for me, so i'm going to start cutting it and putting layers into this. So i really want that. Like diva cut, i think it is absolutely cute and i wish my natural hair was like that and i'm just scared to get it cut like that. So i'm gon na test it out on this wig and try to give myself a diva cut because, like i said it's just so cute, i'm about to put in work and cut this. I was sitting here cutting this for like a good 15 minutes, and i would recommend, if you are going to do it, cut it first like go in and cut it to the actual length that you want it to be. I went in doing layers first when i should have just chopped it at the bottom first and then did the layers after so, if you are going to try to mimic this chop it first and then do the layers afterwards, like you can see, i'm trying to Angle, the cut because i wanted to have that kind of like rounded type of look to it, so it can kind of like shape my face, but still just have that bouncy and volume type of curl look going on all right, my loves. So this is the hair, fully installed the lace, what lace? Because i don't see the lid - this is scalp baby. Do you see this? This is this. Is my hair? Okay? This is absolutely my hair. I don't wan na no other questions this. This wasn't a wig install. This was me doing my hair, okay, because lace baby, she didn't come to play. So i really like this hair. I love the curl pattern. I'M usually not a curly girl, i'm usually you know bust down middle straight long. That'S how i do, but i am really liking this curl pattern. I think it's really really cute, especially once you throw your mousse in it. You know i am not a really long hair curly girl. So if i am going to do curly, then i like it to be short, so you guys saw me chop it away at this, but i think it's so cute. The short hair just looks a little bit more cuter on me. I tried to add some layers in it, so it could kind of have that, like diva type of look going on that diva cut, but other than that the lace bomb, the meltdown, the install was so easy. The wig is flat flat on the head. Like i mentioned, it came with the knots already bleached and kind of like pre-plucked, but you know you still have to go in and do your own little personal touches, because you know everyone's head is different but other than that, like the plucking. Everything was easy with this wig i have no troubles, i have no complaints and she looks super cute. She looks so cute, so i hope you guys enjoyed this video and my new little background.
