How To: Diy Sweat-Proof Quickweave?? Must-Try | Updated Method

What'S up guys welcome back or if you're new here welcome to my channel? My name is janiece and we are all about hair. So let's get right into this video. So this is going to be a quick weave, video um, which are my favorite videos to do, but this one's going to be different because we're doing a totally different method using totally different products. So i'm excited for this one um so right here, all i'm doing is just sectioning off my leave out as normal gon na be leaving out a little bit less of my natural hair than i normally do just because my natural hair is so hard to blend Because it's cut so bluntly so leaving out less, is better when you're dealing with blunt cut, hair, um it'll help blend with the weave a little bit better. So just sectioning off my leave out right here and then gon na braid that up and get that out. The way and then we're gon na move on so for my braids this time i did make them a little bit smaller um, because i do want this to last a little bit longer than my other quick leaves normally do and the smaller the braid. I feel like the longer it'll last because it won't like swell up as quickly um, so i did like i said i made these braids a little bit smaller and i'm not the best braider assist by any means. You really don't have to your braids. Don'T have to be nice to me and perfect. All you really need is a base. That'S all that really matters. So i just like to secure the ends of my braids with rubber bands and most times i'm lazy and i just tuck the ends of the braids underneath the cap once i'm completely done laying the tracks, but this time i want to be a little bit neater. So once i'm done with the braids, i am going to go ahead and sew the ends of the braids down in between, like each braid i'll show you guys what i'm talking about in a second. So right here you can see my braids are nice and neat and sewn down sewn between each braid just makes for a flatter foundation. Alright, so let's get into the new stuff. So remember before i was using that robert's diamond bond um brought the bond protectant cap. The black liquid cap, well today, i'm going to be using this bold hold liquid gold, and so you can see right here, i'm a little bit nervous because i just hope all goes well and that um, my hair does not fall out, but i don't it girl. I'M just being scary um. I actually came across another quick weave, video on youtube and she used this product instead of the regular liquid cap that i was using before um and she really liked this product. She said it dried way quicker. That'S the only thing about that liquid cap that i normally use is it takes forever to dry and you cannot proceed with laying your tracks until it's completely dry, because your tracks won't stick and your quickly won't last, like it. Yeah it'll be horrible. So using this bold hold liquid gold this time um, i'm nervous because it's really for like laying your lace, but i'm also not nervous because it doesn't have any alcohol in it, and so actually, with my last video instead of using the black liquid cap, i was Using the guts to be free spray, which that has alcohol in it, and actually somebody commented on the video and they were like. Are you nervous about it, having alcohol in it and it drying your hair out and breaking your hair off? And after that, like? Oh yeah, i was like. I don't want to use this, no more because i've got my hair to a pretty healthy state um, and so i just i don't want to cause any damage. So that's what i really like about this product. There'S no alcohol! So there shouldn't be any drying or breakage or damage um, but i will be your guinea pig. I will test this method out for you. Unfortunately, i can't let you guys know just yet um how my natural hair did, because i do still have this in, but as soon as i take this out, i will definitely leave a comment on this video and pin it letting you guys know um what i Think about this method and if my hair, my natural hair, was truly protected or not now the second new product i'm going to be using for this quick weave. Is this even wonder, lace spray, um, it's kind of similar to the guts to be, and it does have alcohol in it. However, the only reason i'm not that nervous to use it is because i've kind of already created a protective layer with the bolt hold liquid gold and the two wig caps. So hopefully the lace spray won't really like seep into my natural hair. That much. But i am being really precautious, not using too much of it and then using my blow dryer on the cool setting to help dry. It quicker - and i will say these products definitely do dry, a lot quicker than my old method. So i'm very happy about that. I think now the test is just going to be how it comes out, how well it comes out, and if my natural hair is still fine after this process. Another claim um that she mentioned on her video about using these two products, for your quick weave is that it's supposed to be sweat, proof and possibly waterproof now waterproof. I don't know because i don't really plan to drench my head in any water anytime soon, but sweat proof, oh baby. After i finish this, i could definitely see how this could be sweat. Proof when i tell you this quick weave ain't going nowhere like literally it's not moving, it is not moving. So i will definitely say that if these two products are healthy for my hair and you know, doesn't cause any harm or whatever, which i highly doubt that it will will. Oh, this is gon na, be my go-to, because this quick weave is not going anywhere like these products will definitely definitely definitely make your quick weave last a lot longer. So i know i have some new subscribers and i've been getting this question a lot about. If i cut my wefts as i'm laying them and yes, you can see that i measure the track, then i cut it. Then i lay the glue and then i lay the track, but absolutely i do measure each track before i lay it. I don't double my wefts, i feel like that would be really hard to do like with a quick weave method, that's easier to do when you're sewing it down, but with the quick weave, i feel, like you kind of almost have to cut your tracks. So the answer is yes, i do cut and measure my tracks for each track that i lay so as i started cutting the first cap um. I realized that the top of the cap wasn't really that secure. I think it's because i didn't really want to use that much of that lace spray on my hair, so i went ahead and laid another track before cutting the second one, because i didn't want it to like roll down too much. But that's why? If you're wondering why i only cut one, that's, why so do okay y'all? So, let's talk about this part, so irrigante had did a bob hairstyle on ari, with two pieces of blonde kind of like peekaboo blonde, like 613 blonde in the front of her hair, and i was like i wanted to try it because i thought it was so Cute, it's just, it was a complete feel. Okay. That is not how i end this video, like the blind i literally put in the trash. First of all, i don't think i'm a blind girl at all. I don't think blonde looks good on my skin complexion at all. I never have, and i still don't. Third of all, i think this blonde was just entirely too light. This is almost like platinum, okay, it's uh yeah. I don't know what it's giving um and then it's because i didn't have any more 613 bundles from my hairline. I went to the beauty, supply store to get some and they didn't have any so or actually i'm lying. They had some, but they were like 60 and i was like there's no way, i'm paying 60 per bundle just to use two pieces in the front of my hair, so i ended up buying some synthetic bundles and y'all. I'Ve never had synthetic bundles. Before i guess, i should know being that i love all things hair, but i know you couldn't really curl synthetic like. I knew that it would burn and, like the pack of this synthetic blonde hair said um, you could curl it up to like 400 degrees, but, like i didn't know, it really didn't hold a curl, so yeah the blonde just did not come out the way i Wanted it to um, like i mentioned, i took it out after this, but i wanted to explain why you see blonde in the video right here, because this was originally supposed to be a video of me redoing ari's hairstyle, but yeah. It was a complete fail, um. So anyways, let's get into this cut. Okay. First of all, this is hard to do. I'M not even gon na lie to you, but it was kind of like one side. I think it was my my right side was the hardest side to do. For some reason. The left side was a little bit easier um, but i'm using some shears and just kind of cutting at an angle, because i wanted an inverted bob, so shorter in the back longer in the front, and i had to do a lot of cleaning up on this Cut and i feel like the mistake i made, i was trying to cut too big of sections and when it comes to cutting bobs, you really do have to cut them. In smaller sections, i feel like it makes for a cleaner cut and you're not trying to cut through too much hair at one time so watching this video back as i'm editing like i'm just i'm so disappointed in myself number one. I don't know why i would choose this light of a blind and i should have just gotten a real human hair bundle like. Why would i get synthetic and, as i was buying the synthetic i was like? Please don't. Let me regret this like. I really hope this girl i'm childish for this. I am absolutely childish. That'S honestly, all i can say and i'm mad, because i really wanted to recreate that look. It was so cute, so pretty but uh yeah. I guess it's just not for me. I don't. I don't know um wow, so i did go ahead and cut the other side off camera in my bathroom, because my youtube setup, like i just used like a small little mirror and i just needed more mirror to make sure my cup was right and good. I needed to be able to see the back and all that, so i did do that off camera um and actually this is a totally different day because i got so frustrated but from not liking the blonde um. Afterwards, like i tried to curl my hair and everything, and it just was not giving so i literally stopped filming - i was like forget it like i'm just gon na scrap this video, but then i actually liked how it came out once i removed the blonde. So i figured i would try to make the video work, but this is a totally different day. I'M actually getting ready to go out here. That'S why my makeup is done, etc. So um yeah just going through it with my flat iron. So you guys can get an idea of how it actually came out actually came out really nice, like i said once i remove the blonde and sis this quick weave is not going anywhere like i can tell it's way more secure than it usually is so fingers Crossed that this method really is a game changer, it seems like it is so far so good, but i will definitely keep you guys updated when i take it out and let you guys know how well it came out and all the details around the removal process. We just need to see what it's going to do when it's time to remove so again i'll. Definitely, keep you guys updated on that once i remove it. So so all right - and here is how it turned out - really loving this long bob after i took out those blonde pieces, of course um, but i'm just going to go in with my hat macadamia oil. It'S a shine serum kind of not really a oil. More of like a serum - but i like to use this to get my hair to blend a little bit better, smooth everything out, and i really like it because i actually used too much, but it doesn't make your hair feel heavy um. It'S not really a heavy oil, like i said it's just kind of a lightweight serum, add shine, etc. So here we are sis you cannot tell me this bob is not everything, it is bob season. Okay, y'all know. I live for a good bob year round, but summer time, baby, that is bob season. It is moving, it is flowing, it is stiff, wear it is giving. This is my natural hair, quick weave, wear um but yeah?
