Best Body Wave 13X6 Wig Install | Loose Effortless Curls | West Kiss Hair

Ah, hey y'all, so today's video is whiskey's hair and, as y'all can see, i'm a little disappointed because i put curls in his hair and they freaking failed like the next day and i'm i was so mad, but i'm just going to redo the curls. So today, i'm installing this wig with my olive oil, wig group, gel y'all, know this gel. This is the infamous gel that i use on my channel and i'm not doing a balcony method today, just because i'm kind of in a hurry, so i'm just using a popsicle stick to lay this wig and i'm putting it kind of on my edges, mostly, though, On my skin, then i blow dry to make sure it gets tacky enough for me to apply the lace and then i check and make sure it's good and sticky. It should be like really sticky kind of like if you touch syrup like after it's dried up kind of like that, so once it gets to that consistency or that texture, i just applied the lace into it, the gel and i'm back, combing it and making sure It adheres to the lace well and then i go ahead and blow dry this on a cool setting until it is completely dry and in place. So again, this is the west kiss hair, oh yeah, and then i do the the same routine on the other side. But yeah this is west kiss hair um. I bleached and i plucked the knots on this wig. I didn't really pluck um the hairline as much as i usually do. I don't know why i do prefer my hairline on my wig to be a little bit thinner than i plucked this one, but it's fine. The wig still came out cute, so yeah. Now i'm just doing the other side, and i am back combing, the wig and the lace into the gel and making sure it's completely stuck together and then again i blow dry this on a cool setting until it's completely dry. So now i'm cutting slits into the lace to make actually cutting the excess lace off easier and to cut my lace off. I use um eyebrow razor y'all see my little eyebrow eraser. I get this from the beauty, supply store and i'm just going to cut off these sections. If you do this, it makes it so much easier when it comes time to actually having to cut this lace off, so i definitely recommend cutting them in sections. Instead of trying to just cut the lace off like in one whole piece, so after i cut that lace off, i'm just going to go ahead and do my baby hairs. Now i'm going to pull out my baby hairs. I know y'all see a little white around the edges of the lace girl. Do not worry, i'm going to fix that you got to trust the process, trust the process, even if you're doing your own hair trust the process do not judge the wig as soon as you put it on as soon as you don't so then i twist those Baby hairs up just to get them out of my face. Now, i'm using my olive oil fixing spray to secure this wig even further. This is also what's going to help take away that whiteness around your lace and make it really melt into your skin. So much better and then i take an elastic band and i'm tying this lace down to make sure it's nice and secure and in place - and this is how it looked so today, i'm using a wax stick to lay this wig down. This wax stick is by a brand called. She is bomb, i believe, that's the name of it and i'm just waxing the top part, and then i take my andes, hot comb. I got this hot comb from walmart, it's like 20., like it's really inexpensive. So i just use a hot comb and i am making this wig super flat. I think this is so important when it comes to a wig, is making sure it's flat and not bulky. So now i'm just cutting my baby hair so that i can lay those bad boys down and this step you can have them. However, short, however long you want to do them. This is how i like mines, to look. I like to have one like at the top at the middle of my head. Sometimes i do it just depends on how i do my baby hair. Sometimes i do them differently. It just depends. This is a pencil flat iron that i got from amazon. Let me know if y'all want the link to it, i'll leave it in the description box down below and i'm just curling the baby hairs a little bit just to make it a little bit easier to actually lay them down and to lay them i'm using that Olive oil super hole fixes brush and i'm actually going back and forth between the fixes spray and also a mousse that i'm using the mousse just helps to move the baby hairs a little bit better than the spray. But the spray actually helps to mold them in place. So, as you can see these curls, not it's a no for me, so i'm just going to go back in and re-curl them. I actually curled them. The first time like like you normally would curl with a curling iron, but today i just said: forget it: i'm just use the curler curling iron as like a wand curl. So i'm just doing these spiral curls, and this way you get like really loose beachy way. Type of curls body waves type of curls - and i actually prefer this method better, so i'm just going to be doing it throughout my whole hair and i'm going to let y'all watch me do that and see how these curls come out. So so i haven't combed the curls out yet because i want them to set before i actually do that, so that they last a little bit longer and to straighten my part out. I'M just using my l.a girl pro conceal in the shade fun and i'm just also using this angle brush to go along my part and make this part super straight. So to blend my lace a little bit better with my skin tone. I'M just going to take a little bit of makeup and apply that to the little areas where you can see lace.
