Hi everyone, Scott, is Lily. I want to show you from details about how I put together my wig caps for different projects, so this project that I have going on is build your own wig, where the client sends me the lace front and the hair. So in that case, you have to make sure that you know you're working with the clients measurements when you're building you know their own way. So what I did was, I started off with this u-part wig cap Center, because the client wants a you know the her closure on in the center, not a side. So I started off with this. I totally altered this cap. You can tell that I did add more. You know, lace the wig net to make this cap stronger, but you can also tell if you look real closely on the cap. I totally cut this whole side of and I totally cut the back off. That'S because a client would like to have ventilation alongside so you can kind of see where I I marked it with red red, so that area I'm going to be ventilating. So this client also has pretty a pretty small head, a normal head and normal. I mean by the weight the person weighs anywhere between one hundred and one may be 40 or 150, its 14.5. That'S a normal medium-sized head. Her measurements are 12 from top to bottom 12 yeah. So it's it's very small. So either that or she gave me her measurements from top to bottom - starting, probably you know maybe an inch or so passed. You know from her hairline. So I don't know I just make the wigs according to the measurements that you send me. I don't question it. So you can probably tell, is you know it's not a lot of room back here as if you know what this is a little small head, but if you were to put it on, you know your head. Sorry not gon na come all the way to the front. Well, I don't know I'm just saying I don't know what measurement she gave me. So another thing I want you to see is the back now this is the back of the wig cap that I sale. So you cannot have that nap back there if you want to wear your hair in a high ponytail. Basically all I could have done was just cut this off because you can just cut it right below. You know that um that ribbon, I could have did that, but I decided that these straps are so flimsy, you know, and after they give out that elastic they give out. Maybe you know about six months, so one of the things that I do, can you get that honey hold on okay, one of the things that I like to teach them with making is how to build your own elastic map, and this is one of things that I teach and advance wig making, so you actually make your own map with your elastic and you add your clips now. I use the bigger Clips because I want them to stay in there and not pop out so these little clips. You know they pop out. They don't work, I like to use the stronger, elastics and bigger clips, and it's already made to your exact measurements. It'S made her circumference, I believe you know just say the circumference is 21 or 22, it's exactly 21 or 22, but you need to elastic back there to make it snug. So when you're making your ways you make it exactly to the circumference and then you rely on the elastic to give that client. You know the smugness that they need. Okay, so I just kind of wanted to bring this to you and just kind of let you see how I put together. You know where this is um-hmm actually is the wig cap you can tell, but I added more foundation on it, because my sewing machine just really tears this stuff, so um I'm going to go ahead and ventilate the sides and blend Matt. You know that seam in with the lace front and all the ventilation and also the tracks and I'll be done and I'll be back and show you the front final part. Thank you for watching you

Queenofweaves: Hi Ms.Lily I'm watching your videos for the umpteenth time lol. You have me so determined to master wigmaking. I'm ordering a ventilating kit and taking a sewing class. My goal is to take a class with you within the next 6 months. I want to have the basics down before flying out to socal. I'm in sacramento. I feel as though this is a major career change for me, I'm nervous and excited. The majority of my clientel are women with hair loss issues.

Queenofweaves: I can't count the number of times I have had people approach me about making wigs for cancer patients. I turned them down, because I didn't make wigs. I just made my first dome cap wig in april. But I want to take it to another level and I know you can help me get there. ;-)

SHELLY53100: HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY! YOUR WORK IS JUST WONDERFUL. YOUR WIGS ALWAYS LOOK SO NATURAL!

Queenofweaves: Hi, do you sell those straps or can you tell me where I can order them? I'm just getting into wig making. I don't use a swmch I never learned.

rose madrigal: Hi ... Love your channel very professional classy women! Very informative & best of all there is no loud music playing so its easier to listen and understand you thank you for that, I had a question for store bought wigs that fit to big is there a way to fix this ? I order a wig online and cannot return it fit is to big at back of the head the sides are fine and I can use straps, but only back of the head is loose if you can help please thanks

Lily Seymour: The wig would have to be totally altered. Its quite a bit of work because the tracks would have to be removed and the cap has to be taken in, then the tracks has to be sewn back on. If you email me I can quote you a cost to fix.

Renee Allen: How much do uou charge for your wig making class?

nathaniel lorquet: great wig base..!!!!!!!!

Tyra Walters: I don't understand how to make my 13×4 lace front bigger. I can't pull the sides up all the way and it hurts my ears

rose madrigal: Thank you for your help I just email u

Elle Michelle: It is nape pronounced the same as cape or drape not nap
