What'S poppin, it's me, jordan. Let'S get straight into it. The company we're working with today is west kiss hair. They sent me over a 40 inch, 250 density, 13x4, transparent lace, wig also inside the packaging. You will get two new stocking, wig caps. You will also get a ash brush comb lashes in elastic band, and you also get a silk extra large wrap. This wig comes with three combs in the inside and an adjustable strap in the back and, like i said before, it is transparent lace and it is a full 13 by 4 frontal. So you can do middle and side parts. Once again, the lace is transparent and it did come pre-pluck. But of course i went in and plucked more because you know i just have to do the absolute most, but anyway, back to the wig um. The hair in the back is 40 inches and the frontal, as you can see, is 20 inches. That may be a conflict of interest for some, so i just want to let you guys know that um fresh out the box, this hair was shedding just to let you know that as well, but with all your packages, especially curly hair, you have to shampoo and Condition them to just set that curl into place like look at the wig now at the eye shampoo, the conditioning it looks so much better so now we're just about to get straight into it, we're using our ruby kisses double 14. We put that same foundation already on her cap and we're gon na put it on that frontal and then we're gon na start. Adjusting the wig to her head. Hey do is today we'll be using erica, j's homey down adhesive four layers, i'm gon na dot that along the edge of the cap and make sure i smooth that back as thin as possible and wait for each layer to turn clear before i add another layer. I'Ve already prepped your skin before by cleaning her skin with sea breeze because she is allergic to um 91 alcohol and then i went in with erica j's skin guard skin protectant to protect the skin and um fight back against sweat. So the install can last longer and shout out to our makeup artist selena underscore underscore alexis that is s-e-l-e-n-a underscore underscore i s you come through for me every time girl so shout out to you honey if you're watching period now back to this install once that Last layer is dry you're, going to proceed to lay that lace down and you're, going to use the teeth of the comb and the blow dryer on high heat to help start securing that lace to the skin, and once you get done doing it for about a Minute, you're going to tie down using your elastic band. Do yes after 10 minutes under the dryer on medium heat, we're going to take the elastic band off and now we're going to proceed to cut off that excess lace using our eyebrow razor and our shears. If need be, oh yes, as you can see, we do have some discoloration in the lace, even though we haven't fully melted it in, but i still want to go back in and add just a little bit more makeup. Um, i'm using that same ruby, kisses up 14., just adding some more to the lace line and then once we go back in with our hairspray and i left the band honey, that lace is going to be melted all the way in there. Okay, so don't be afraid to use makeup if your lace is not blending honey makeup is your friend. You can use the cream or um the powder, but be careful with that liquid foundation, the the wet stuff be careful with that, because that'll oh yeah, anyways back to the video today we're doing a y2k early 2000's inspired hairstyle we're going to do like a bunch Of little colorful ponytails and then we're going to crisscross them and then we're going to put all that in one ponytail, you know add some little knockers bows balls, whatever y'all call it just something, just a cute fun style, because i get so sick of just doing Middle part, side parts, it's so boring. I want to do more styles, you know make me actually enjoy being a hairstylist, so you'll be seeing a lot of you know more style styles. Instead of just a middle part, style part. You know, but yeah we're gon na. Go ahead and lay that middle part in place using our wax stick in our hot gum and now we're gon na separate um the hairs that won't for the baby hairs um. Today, we're going for a dramatic look, so i'm gon na do a full hairline of baby hairs. If you do not like baby hairs, this is not the video for you because baby we finna get to swooping and whooping. Okay. Can i get a man in the background amen period, uh and now today i don't have my normal hair spray that just ultimately melts the lace because girl i ran out and forgot to order it. So it could be back on time. So now i'm just waiting for it to get here, but you know there are alternatives, so i am using. This got to be um spray um, i'm waiting for it to come up on the camera, so i can see. What'S the name of it? Oh yeah, the volume maniac one i'm using that to melt the lace in you can use any kind of um hairspray that doesn't have such a high high hole like i don't really like using freeze spray. I i love this. This is great as well, but i'm gon na tell you something even better than this that is so close to the one. I normally use that tresemme um firm control, the level three out of five. Oh, my gosh that really melts the lace thing. It don't melt! It in like my hair spray, of course, that i won't tell y'all, but even though y'all been putting in the group chat trying to find it on facebook, y'all thought i'm gon na find out, but anyway yeah. It ain't gon na melting like that, but it gets the job done. That'S all that matters so yeah me and the category is scalp and period. Okay, so now for the hot comb, these hairs and then we're gon na cut them down using our eyebrow razor and then we're gon na use that alcohol mousse to swoop them into the style that we want to and then we're going to tie them down tight With our wrap strip, i i think i used like four or five reps just today, because i was not playing my baby hairs. I need them to be laid: hey, mmm, yes, yes, me, foreign, do not after a long 30, 40 minutes on the dryer, because i was not playing with these baby hairs. They had to be dry dry. These edges are laid, but we're not gon na keep them. Like this, because this ain't really appealing to me we're gon na come out and make them soft and boom, you can't tell me i just laid on edges girl, stop playing with me, jordan. Okay, i need to get into it like for real. You can't tell me the baby hairs like soft and laid like you can just put it on my head honestly, like i need that forget my cousin, like for real okay back to the style, so yeah, those two little whatever so you're gon na make um you're Gon na make a part round, like i would say, the arch of the eyebrow or like the middle of the eyebrow on each side, and you should already have your middle part into place at this point. So you're gon na have two sections now: okay and i'm gon na just slow down, so y'all can understand how i'm doing this. Okay, we have two sections now and then we're gon na um move all the extra hair that we don't need out the way then we're gon na split each section into two meaning you're gon na make another part in the middle of each section. So you should have four rows now with each row: you're gon na make three ponytails, so i'm using my freeze spray and we're just gon na make some little ponytails me so so, and this is one row of three completely done, i'm going to show you in Just a second now you're going to do that for all the other rows and when you get done, you should have four rows and each row should have three ponytails in each. So i guess that's three times four twelve. You should have twelve ponytails in the middle of your head. In total we got our 12 ponytails. Nice start it's time to start crisscrossing. Now i i i'm gon na be real, which i really can't explain it for y'all. I just knew the first two i took. Okay, it's two ponytails in the very middle of her head in the front. I took one and i did it diagonal to the back of one on the second row, and once i got done with that ponytail i took the other ponytail that was in the middle. In the front - and i diagonally to it to the other one on the second row and then after that honey, i just it looked like a puzzle to me and i just started connecting the dots and you know trying to make it work. Even me explaining this on the voiceover, i'm confusing myself, just crisscross it or if you don't know how to crisscross it. Just i don't know i really i'm so sorry y'all. I really can't explain it it. It just took confusion for me and now i'm getting confused. So yeah just crisscross it yes, and this is the hair after being crisscrossed, 50 million different ways, honey just just get it done, and now we're going to put all of this hair into one ponytail and after we do that we're going to um. Add our knockers bows balls, whatever y'all call it to it, and i really can't show y'all that either because baby, i really didn't know what i was doing. You know i never really did little girl's hair. So i'm not really. You know that well equipped with you know, adding all these ponytails and bows and beads and stuff so yeah, it's new to me, but you know just just get it done, but you know check out the edges, though: oh hey, b i'll be ham on the edges. Today, head to head too me - and this is our style, lady slate - once we are done - i am loving it off camera. I did go ahead and wet the hair with water and i did add my noodle head just to define the curl some um once again.
