I know about you. I went ahead and i skipped to december i'm in december she's in december. I don't know where you guys are going it's kind of hot for december right now, but with the power of positive thinking you two can be in the month of december. Like me, i skipped ahead. Okay, because i can't do it. I can't do it so, as you can see, things are a little bit different behind me. That'S why i've been m.i.a? That'S why i've been stressed and unable to upload videos or post anything, because not only was i dealing with everything going on with the rona outside, but also we moved so we moved into our new home. This. Is it i'm not trying to move no more if i ever have to see another can of paint or jesus? So today i'm going to be trying on this lovely, beautiful wig that i have over here, cbw 38. It'S got a comb and the adjustable straps right here and then it's got two temple cones. Am i showing you this one? Two and then it's got that elastic band thing and for the life of me i don't know what i did with it. I cannot. I really wish. I would show you if this is the first time you're watching one of my videos. I promise you. I have more videos of wigs that have the elastic band in it and it's like a bra strap and i i don't know what i did with it and i'm so sorry, so the the lace came pre-plucked and pre-bleached. But before i put this on my head, so i could kind of adjust it. I'M gon na go ahead and i'm gon na um match the lace a little bit more with my skin tone. Hopefully this works because for some reason this morning i was like i should wash all my brushes and then an hour later i would like i was like i should do a video. So hopefully it won't come out streaky, but if it does, what else is new? It'S 20. 20.. So how are you doing? How is your year going? I hope i hope it's going good for you guys. I haven't um been too much on social media. I just popped into instagram like every now and then just to cheer my spirits up, because i was pretty down there for a while for a lot of a while um. I want to say in march um when everybody was just figuring out like oh wait. A minute what's going on, you know i kind of was already in a full-blown panic mode, because i paid too much attention to what was going on overseas and other countries, and i couldn't for the life of me figure out why everybody around me wasn't um in Doomsday prep mode like i was um, but i i realize now that the precautions that i took early on probably saved our family a lot of uh. You know what would have been issues see my my bald head. I did the stocking cap method and now i look like grace jones but um and set my adjustable straps before i put this on my head. I always put it on the outermost setting, because i have a big head and any tighter and i would probably have a concussion. I was one of those people that probably got laughed at on the internet like i did not want to go out. I literally ordered amazon fresh for everything i made my husband go out and get all the groceries. While i stayed in because i was so afraid of getting sick and those beginning days. There really wasn't that much information about it um now we know loads more and we open up the schools. That was great great idea, great idea, so where i am now um our governor don't care and he opened up all the schools. The school's been open for a week now he said you will deal honey. So here's how it looks, i'm going to get rid of this flap back here, because it covers my ear, i'm just going to cut right there right now. Looking at the hairline, everything looks really good. I don't like. Usually i would go in and i would pluck this a little bit more, but it looks it looks good. It looks good to me so i'm gon na leave the wig as is, and i'm just gon na go ahead and adhere it and then i'm gon na come back. I promise you, i'm not sweating, i'm just i'm i'm oily my face is super moisturized. I use this skincare lotion. I i can't read it i'm gon na put in the description box below, but i put it - i put it in one of these um bottles. So it's more of a mist because putting liquid in your hands and smearing it all over. Your face is a little awkward, it's easier for me to mist it. So i did and oh my gosh - they know what they talking about when they say moisturize tiny. So i'm going to clip this hair up out my face off my hairline, so i could adhere the wig rock and roll. So here's the thing i don't know how to get out of this uh. I know if i let go, my sides will pop up so i'll, be here for the next 10 minutes, or so everybody else has to do this. I feel like. I should do better right now, so the hair is on she's secured and uh, i'm going to style it just a little bit and then i'm going to plop on um, i'm gon na plop on the scarf so that i can mold it before. I even cut the lace not too much, because this stuff will lift everything that you've worked hard to achieve. So don't let that happen. So that's on and i'm gon na, let that marinate for, like 15 minutes and i'll, be back beautiful, everything's laying the way i want it to lay yo. So now i'm going to go ahead and cut the lace and then i'm going to style my baby hairs and then we're going to do something with this face. Okay, so i'm just going to cut down the middle and right here. So i can work in sections content cut my baby hairs and now i'm going to style them with some styling foam. What was i going to say anyway? This is uh pratt, nectar and carol. Starter totally say that right here we go just like that. Just keep it like that, so today's palette is going to be the nubian coral palette. I just want a simple brownish, nudish kind of peachy coraly, look that was four colors and i'm gon na get into it. Really quick. I'M gon na speed up this portion of the video time family. I'M gon na use this jaclyn hill highlighter on the inner tear ducts of my eye and my brow bone and try not to overdo it, because this is some blinding lights. Where is it? You know what i did. I got so organized because i was so excited. I went and got all of these little boxes, so i have like a ton of these little boxes and i got organized and i put my makeup in all of them, which is awful because now i don't have to open the whole box and look inside and See, oh, this is foundation. Oh this one is lips. This one is eyes this one is brow, so that's what i get for trying to be organized can't find any flips guys there. We go now we're cooking with oil. I really like this eyeliner because it glides so effortlessly over my wrinkly brows, i'm at my wrinkly eyelid, i'm going to put on some kush, mascara yeah stare at the mirror, like you're going crazy. So these are the lashes i am going to be using lashes in daisy, so i want to see if i need to do any cutting. Oh, these are pretty no cutting. So let me go ahead and glue these bad boys down all right. Y'All. We'Re almost done, all i got ta do is add some foundation, i'm gon na add a little bit of cooling. I gel underneath my foundation because i did get a slight tan, so i'm gon na go ahead and use trinidad by nars, because i know that is my summer color just a little bit of primer um banana face milk. You would think as hot as it is outside, i wouldn't get dry, but i do now raise your hands as high as they go trinidad. Hopefully, this works out close yeah summer. Color is here, ladies. So, since we're in the summertime, i'm going to be using um julia j juvia's place uh, i am magic concealer in number 12. and i'm going to contour slightly with this conceal and define full coverage conceal and contour and c18 just a little bit. Not a lot. Now i'm done with my face: my lips are really dry, so i'm using this tinted moisturizer. So at this point i would use powder if i was going to spend any amount of time outside of the sun, but since i'm not i'm just going to go ahead and set my face today, i'm going to be using the milani fruit fetish, make it glass Makeup setting spray, so i'm going to be real generous with this stuff, because i want my makeup to last and i want it to set. I don't want it to melt. Okay, all right, so here's the trick don't use that much don't use as much as i just did. Anyway. Don'T move your face while it's drying? Oh my gosh, okay, we're done with the face. Now we can get into the hair, which looks so pretty. She can be as voluminous as you want. You can pick her out. You can get really. You can fluff her out if you want to, and you can go with that look which i think is really pretty. But if you want definition - and you want your curls to pop - add some water - that's exactly what i'm about to do right now, i'm gon na go ahead and get my spray bottle and i'm going to get my setting lotion and i will be right back here. We go where we go again. Oh, why not just a little bit more just remember if it gets too wet. You can always use your diffuser and scrunch your curls up quickly. Let it air dry.
