I Tried A Headband Wig And I'M In Love | Super Beginner Friendly | Luvme Hair | Ariannalyf

What'S up you guys, my name is ariana and welcome to my youtube channel as y'all can already tell from the title in today's video i'm going to be reviewing love, me's, lovely headband, wig, i'm gon na have all the details of this wig and stuff down below. As y'all can see, they sent me the wig, it came in a box. The hair straight out of the box was very, very pretty i'm going to be using bw 2 and 30 volume developer. As stated already, everything will be listed down below in the description box. So if y'all are specifically interested in the exact products that i use check down there, i wanted to try like the bleach bath. It'S almost like a bleach, watercolor method. I saw slayed by jordan. Do it and a couple of other people on youtube have been doing it recently and normally it takes me a very, very long time to bleach. So i figured since i wanted the whole wig to be a lighter color like i wanted it to be. You know the picture the color that i saw on the thumbnail i figured i would just do the watercolor bleach bath method to see if i liked it and overall it was fire. I loved it, because i didn't have to spend so much time. My back didn't have to hurt none of that so yeah i put a little bit of water in there made sure that i mixed it up really well. Before i put the wig in there, you want to make sure that you don't have any clumps. That is the number one rule you want to make sure that it's an even distribution of your product. So yeah y'all see me here, i'm basically just like combing the bleach through the hair, making sure that the entire wig is saturated, making sure that the middle has bleach on it so that all the hair can process at the same time. This is a very, very easy method, so, if you're a beginner, i would definitely recommend doing a watercolor bleach bath method. Once i got all of the bleach all over the hair, i let it sit for about 20 minutes and if y'all notice, i kind of did like a time lapse on accident, but y'all can see the hair starting to swell inside of the thing, and that's how You know that the bleach is working because bleach involves heat and all this stuff to activate the chemicals which lifts the hair, it's so fire. I just love this method way more than like painting bleach on. I probably will never do that method ever again, especially if it's like a overall lifting type thing now, if i just want to do like highlights and low lights, probably wouldn't recommend this method, but it is very, very, very beginner friendly, so yeah definitely try it out. After about 20 minutes, as you all can see, the wig lifted very quickly very easily. So i was actually happy about that because i didn't have to go through multiple times with bleaching if y'all have bleach before y'all know it takes a very long time. So at this stage i just wanted to show y'all what it looked like. I was kind of measuring to see if i liked how light the wig was and then i decided i wanted to kind of try an ombre thing so, as you can see, i'm strategically trying to fold it in there so that it's only the ends. That'S mostly in the bleach and then after that i let it sit for about 10 minutes, and now we are rinsing her out. After that. I wanted to rinse all of the bleach out of the hair, because the hair was in the bleach for about 30 minutes, and i know around like the 30 to 40 minute mark bleach kind of stopped working. So, instead of just letting it sit on the hair for like an hour hour and a half like i've, seen some people on youtube, do you might as well just rinse it out and that's why i haven't like shampooed it or nothing, because i knew i was Going to bleach it again because it wasn't as light as i wanted to, but yeah anyway back to the bleach. You don't want to leave it sitting on for like an hour, blase blah, because after a certain point in time the bleach stops working. So it's better. If you take the hair out, rinse it out and get like a fresh batch of bleach and developer together, so i ran another watercolor bleach bath situation and did it again and i let it sit for - i think it was about 15 minutes or so i don't Really remember but yeah i just i bought it to see if it was the lightness that i wanted, and it was after about 15 minutes. So after that, y'all see me rinsing it again and this time i wanted to go in with neutralizing shampoo to stop the bleaching and lifting process so yeah. I got this at sally's, it's very, very, very affordable. Again, everything will be listed down below in the description box if y'all need to know where to get all the products that way, y'all can do the same thing. I'M doing i thought it was interesting that, after i was rinsing the bleach out and shampooing it and stuff if y'all notice, the shampoo suds is almost like a reddish color and again y'all saw the hair straight out the bag. It was black. So i wonder if that is a combination between the orange neutralizing, shampoo and just the fact that, like whenever you bleach hair you're removing pigments, because if you study like color levels, it goes from like black dark brown, some weird reddish orange color and then blonde. I don't know if somebody is a professional comment down below and let me know why, whenever you bleach hair, sometimes it'll turn like the water will turn red. I just thought it was kind of cool, it didn't damage the hair or anything. It was just something i wanted to know after all, that i applied my silicone mix. Let it sit for like 30 minutes rinsed it out, and then i let it air dry overnight. Oh yeah, let's get into it! We about to install this headband we're y'all gon na, be like sis i need her now, so it is wednesday. May 12th um i've had this wig for two weeks y'all. I know i've been supposed to post this video, but that's beside the point. Your girl bleached it as you all saw so i just went to miami if y'all seen the miami vlog. I don't know if this video is going up first for the miami vlog either way the miami vlog is coming soon. I wore the wig in miami for like the first day because it was just like a throw on and go type of look and i loved it. So, yes, i'm loving this company love me hair. They sent me like a little pamphlet, so i can read like how to take care of my wig how to use the wig frequently ask questions blase block, so i think stuff like this is good inside of like wig companies and stuff, and this is coming from Somebody who has their own company they making me want to get my stuff together, because i don't have no pamphlets. Oh thank you, my god, it came with a wig cap. In my opinion, i don't usually wear wig caps unless i'm doing a frontal or a closure, and even then sometimes your girl be lazy. I should be skipping. The whole ball cap method, so i won't be using this today, so this came with like in a little elastic band. I'M not really sure what this is for. Maybe if i wanted to like sew it in, but this ain't long enough, so not entirely sure it is long enough all right. So this is, if you wanted some extra security. This is very stretchy. This feels really good wow. This feels better than the one i got off, amazon, that's nice, and it came with other little stuff. Like you know, the little headbands that you'd be seeing the girls wearing on ig came with a little edge. Brush definitely will be using this and it came with some little bobby pins. I'M not big on bobby pins, because they'd be snagging. My hair and it'd be hurting. Who is y'all vendor? Look at this. It says, love me, that's crazy and it also came with some tweezers i'm going to assume that this is for plucking, so i'm guessing love me be sending out like closures and frontals and stuff as well to other influencers. So, that's probably why this is in here, but for the headband wig you don't need no plucking or anything done, because there's no frontal or closure. Last but not least, they sent me one, two, three, four five little headbands. These are kind of cute. So before i show y'all the wig on me, we have to address the elephant in the room so, like i said i just got back from miami. This is my hair. I haven't washed it um. I washed it the night before i went to miami it has hair grease um. Some jam is in there, but i think i'm about to like braid my hair up, so i'm not gon na wash it just yet. So here's what i'm gon na do. My hair is already parted down the middle, the protective style that i've been rocking lately with my wigs, because i've been real lazy instead of me doing like the traditional like hairstylist, you know braid them back at the braid and do all that. I ain't doing that. No so yeah, i'm gon na take this bad boy right here. I think i'm just put a little bit of jam on my hair, because i don't want to put too much because i'm about to put some braids in right after this, and i don't feel like going through the whole wash day routine again. But i do need her to be sleep because right now, she's she's not giving me what i need. Actually, i'm i'm just put a little bit of weight line on it just to get her you know to lay down like i need her to be a lot. I actually don't want no part, so i'm gon na just go ahead and wet line. This whole thing. What i do now is i split my hair in half at the back, just because i got too much hair. I'M gon na clip this out the way and we're just gon na braid her down. So i'm gon na split it into three like right here at the back. Instead of doing like a cornrow, i'm gon na just do a plait, but i try to do my plait to where the hair is flat. You know what i'm saying alright, so we're good. This is good enough. I'M probably gon na have to lay this little piece down, as y'all can see she's a little wavy so now we're on to the edges. If y'all don't know by now, if you have type 4 natural, hair and you're tired of your edges, curling up as soon as you lay them down hold on y'all, i've got to clown myself, who i look like who i look like y'all. I swear to god: youtube needs to add a feature where y'all can drop like gifs and pictures in the comments. Bro yo be roasting me right now anyway. So if you have time for natural hair - and you don't know how to lay down your edges and you're tired of them, curling up sis got to be glued ultra glue, the black one, not the yellow, the black one and a blow dryer. It will be your best friend, that's the problem. Y'All be trying to leave the house before y'all edges is dry. That'S why they keep moving. That'S why they keep lifting and curling. Let them dry, it'll change it. We'Re gon na try her out today. I don't know if i want to use the brush side or the comb. I got a mirror over here. So just give me one second i'll part them out bring these to comb waves on swim. Here she is, she is giving. So this is the hair in its natural state. I believe it's probably 75 dry give or take it's a little wet up in here, but this is with no product on it. All i did was co-wash it after my miami trip rinsed it out, and i just set it on my wig head and kind of let it air dry. I'M gon na see what it looks like big, because when i tried the wig on the first time it was wet, but i just want to see what it looks like dry. So y'all can see, like you know, a comparison, so i think i showed y'all this already, but i just want to do it again, just in case so this right here is the front of the wig like where the headband is at. It comes with the comb. There are combs on the side as well right here and right here, and then there is a comb right here at the back um, i'm not big on combs, but seeing as how this is a throw on and go type of wig. This part right here, the velcro is not it's not secure enough for me to be comfortable going to walmart because baby is she fall off in a store? Oh, could you imagine so i would recommend using the combs and if you were to like do your natural hair, how i did mine versus cornrows. It won't hurt as bad whenever you slide the combs in took these bad boys out of the way. So my head is little if y'all didn't know, at least in my opinion is little so once i have like my hair and stuff braided down, i believe my hair or my head. If y'all do like wigs and stuff, i believe my head is just barely 22.. I think most people who get their wigs and stuff done is either like 22 and a half or 23. That'S about the average. I am barely scraping 22.. So, instead of doing like the velcro in the back, when i was wearing it in miami, i prefer to tie it just because it made me feel better security-wise. That way like i knew my wig wouldn't fall out so i'ma, just like tie it in a little knot. So yeah, i'm just tying it like a shoe. All i did was like tuck it one time and just do like one loop. I didn't knot it just one time: oh she's serving she's serving i mean i already knew she was serving, but oh my god, her dry, like with nothing on it, bro love me sponsor me again. Please it's cute! Oh, i saved the shed here so don't mind that little white piece, i think that's like hair product from when i wore it wet so from taking the hair out of the box styling. It bleaching it deep conditioning doing all of that. This is all the shed hair that i got, which, in my opinion, is bomb. This is amazing, because my natural hair sheds more than this future ariana here just popping in i wanted to give y'all a price point of this wig the length that i got. I believe it was 24.. I don't quite remember off the top of my head to see the 22 or 24., so the price of the 22 inch is 219.90, but it is on sale right now. It'S the mother's day sale still going on, but they do offer. After pay, so if you don't know what after pay is, basically you can buy the hair. You can receive the hair now, but you basically like finance it, so you pay it off over time. I offer sales on my website, so i think any sort of payment plan for expensive items is a plus. If you are one of those people who can't afford to drop 500 at one time, you can still get your hair, you can still be slayed. You just pay it off over time. I'M not entirely sure how after pay works as far as like the payment frequencies, but just know that they do have a payment option. So that's fire. The 24 inch runs for 239.90. Like i said it is on sale. Normally it looks like it's like 600 slashed out, but yeah, so she's fired so final thoughts. I don't know i feel like some of y'all gon na be mad at me. If i don't show you all this hair wet, i mean okay, so i'm gon na give my final thoughts now and then i'm gon na insert some b-roll footage of the hair when it's wet, because i like this shirt - and i don't think this shirt mixes well With water, so we ain't got time so final thoughts on this hair. I do like the hair whenever i first took the hair out of the box. However, obviously the hair kind of smelled a little factory-ish, but seeing as how i have my own wig company, blase blah um to me, it doesn't bother me because normally once you shampoo it and condition it, the smell goes away and on this hair it did the Same thing, so to me it smells like hairs. One thing i will note was that there was it seems as if there was some sort of like film on the hair after i like bleached it and washed it and stuff like that, because normally with previous hair that i've worked with, usually once i shampoo it Do all of that stuff to it normally if there was any sort of film on the hair that does go away, but for some reason, with this hair. It almost feels like so y'all know how, if y'all leave like rinse out conditioner in your hair for too long, and then you let it dry. It'S almost like a little filmy a little bit, that's kind of what i'm getting. I don't. I don't know how to describe the hair is bomb, though, like it's not anything negative, it's just something that i wanted to know. So, if you're cool with that, that's fine, but she detangled just fine. The bundles are not slipping. So that means that the construction of the wig is of very good quality, because i've been slanging this hair and doing all that and nothing fell out so yeah overall, i love this hair. This is a very easy. Let me go to walmart right, quick type of wig she's cute, the only other negative that i can say this is just with any headband wig. It has nothing to do with this company, but if you don't always want to wear headband, that's kind of annoying so yeah, that's the only other negative that i can add, but other than that, i'm pretty sure there are no negatives left. I like the fact that the hair is full all the way to the end, because sometimes with different vendors, it'll say that the wig is like, let's say it's, 24 inches or whatever and sometimes it'll be like full, full full. And then, when you get about right here, it'll start getting thin. I don't like that. Look. I have very dense thick natural hair. As you all know, if you are a loyal subscriber, i need my hair to be thick from the beginning to the end. If it's not, i'm gon na be upset, let me thin my own hair out, don't finish for me, please and thank you. So now we got ta try on these little headbands that they sent me because they cute oh hold on wait a minute. I know i'm not supposed to be wearing it like this, but she y'all could y'all. Imagine me with a fit. Oh my god. Imagine me with a fit in a little bag. With my hair like this for the summer, i can see the vision. Clearly, this look to me like whenever the girls is just wearing a headband like, oh anyway, i digress. Why love me got me looking like a whole snack out here, what are y'all doing to me so headband number one. I really like this nude. If y'all know me, i am a very kim k, ish at least that's the aesthetic that i like, so this color perfect, very kim ks. Also i, like the material on this headband. I don't know what material it is, there's no tag, so i don't know, but this is almost feels like satin and it's kind of stretchy, so i know like it wouldn't snag your natural hair. So that's a plus this headband more so feels like cotton. So if you guys do decide to wear this over your natural hair, just be aware of that cotton can dry out your natural hair. So there's that y'all i ain't gon na lie at first glance. I didn't think i was gon na like how i looked with these prints on, because i'm a very basic, solid type of chick, my mom likes colors and prints and stuff - that's usually not me, but this i can do this with like either a yellow bag. A blue bag, all white fit y'all, see the vision babe i'm about to be killing. All these fashion looks right. We'Re two for two: let's try this one! Now, when i saw this, i was like i'm not feeling the color details of this camo specific. Both of my parents are retired military. I have seen them go through plenty of different uniforms. This is not it. I'M just gon na put that out there and we're gon na be doing camo. We need to do air force 2020 camo army, navy, 2020 camo, because that camo, this ain't gon na lie not my favorite yeah. So, as i stated before i put this on, i probably won't be wearing this one. It'S just personal preference. It doesn't really go with my aesthetic so on and off bear with me y'all. We got two more this cheetah. I already know this junk gon na be fire ooh. I can see it already. Oh yes, this she's cute. I can do this. One y'all cheetah print goes so good with like colorful stuff, so like, for example, peep this this is like a yellow. I know it looks a little brighter on camera, but this is yellow with this. This is a look i really like cheetah print with reds or like this color blue. Even with this color blue, i got on like cheetah print with this looks so good all the time, but i think my favorite combo is cheetah print with white or cheetah print with red, like bloody red like bro. Yes, i saved my highly anticipated one for last. This one is the same material as this, so like satin, okay, so these two solid ones are satin. I believe, don't quote me, but they feel like satin, and these three feel like cotton. So just letting y'all know baby, yellow, yellow might be my color. Are we doing yellow this summer y'all, i think we're doing yellow this summer. Ah, i live. I love this whole video like from start to end. I really had a good time with this. So here is the hair dry. As stated, i showed y'all all of the headbands, so, as i stated, i want to keep my hair dry. While i keep this shirt on, because again, water in this shirt don't mix. So what i'm going to do now is insert some b-roll footage of my hair when it's wet, i'm probably going to have on a different color shirt. I don't know quite yet, but yeah so y'all see it on the screen she's serving she is giving dripalicious yeah. So, like i said, if y'all really want to try this hair, i would recommend doing i give this on a scale of one to ten. I would give this hair a solid 8.75, and that's only because it has like the little film feeling, in my opinion, in my opinion, comparing me, i consider myself to be a hairstylist compared to people who, just like get their hair done or are not well versed In wigs and bundles and stuff y'all would think this hair is bomb because it really is at the end of the day. It'S just in my opinion. I have felt better, but that's because i did my research with buying from different vendors and blase blast. So my eye for perfection, in my opinion, is a little bit stronger. Y'All know what i'm trying to say, but yeah she's still a vibe.
