Beginners Friendly | Quick Tutorial For Straight Headband Wig ! Ft Gossip Hair On Aliexpress

Hello and welcome back everyone. It is your girl, cassandra, olivia and today i'm reviewing some hair from a company called gossip official store and i will link their information down below as always and if you are new welcome and if you are not new you're returning. I appreciate every single last one of you guys so without further ado, we're going to get straight into this video so in the first part of this video, i'm just showing what comes in the wig packaging and it's pretty standard. It'S like a big pla talk. Oh, my goodness, i'm not editing this out, because y'all know i am, but anyway it's just your standard, wig unboxing stuff, like a wig cap, the strap headband all that good stuff. This is a headband wig um. I believe this was like 22 inches. I might be lying. I need to actually get the information on this because it's a 24 inch headband wig, so we got also a rough start, but we made it so in the packaging. They also sent a little headband. So what i'm going to do? Really quick? I beat my face off camera, i'm just going to pop this on, as is and show you one way to rock it and then midway through the video. It'S not long, i'm just going to go ahead and color the unit, a burgundy color, and i'm going to show you the process of doing that. So this is look one, i'm just gon na pop her on and style her um and then in look two. I'M gon na actually curl. It you'll see the hair color, but um these headband wigs, something about them. They'Re super efficient super easy to apply. These are super beginner friendly, meaning that you don't have to have any experience to know how to apply these. You literally just put on a wig cap, you put the strap around the back, you just tighten it to your um head shape, making sure it's not too tight, and then it also has some combs on the inside, so that we can keep your wig nice and Snug headband wigs aren't that new, but they've been coming back in style just because there's like a lace shortage, i know when covet hit. There was like a shortage on bundles and shipments, and things like that, so the easiest thing to do was to get headband wigs. So, that's why i've seen a lot of people wearing them and pushing them recently, just because it's something that's easier to produce and make and masks like make money off of. Basically, so i'm just throwing this headband on. It'S really cute. You just want to make sure when you have the headband covering the black headband that comes on the actual unit. You just want to scrunch it or make it big or small, compared to what the size is for the um. The headband that you're going to put over top of the headband so that white headband i scrunched up the black one underneath just so, you wouldn't see a peeking through. So that was look one. Now, i'm just going in my kitchen. All you guys are going to need is a tripod, a wig stand. I am going to use some l'oreal high color in the shade magenta. I only use one bottle and i'm also going to be using some 30 volume developer and just mixing that um, an extra step that i take when i do these units, i like to um, take two trash bags garbage bags, whatever wrap them around the wig head. So that way i don't bleach or color my wig head, it stays nice and clean, and that's why it's able to still be the same. Color it's been for the last two years, so pro tip you want to make sure you cover your wig head. So that way, your wig head doesn't have a whole bunch of different random colors on it. I'Ve learned the hard way to cover it up um. So i'm just going in now, like i said with the magenta by l'oreal hot color, you can get this online or from sally's and i will be sure to tag everything down below and i'm just going in with some clairol 30 30 volume developer and i'm just Going to mix that and then apply that all over the unit, i'm just going to get it on there first and then what i did for an extra step. I just put this hair in a bag. When i was done, and then i threw it under a hooded dryer for about 30 minutes, just so the color can process, i'm going for like a deep, burgundy and you'll see how it came out in just a second i'm going to finish coloring this and i'll Be right back in a second, so here's how the color came out. It'S pretty deep, burgundy and on camera and in natural light or like ring light studio light. You can see it's a lot brighter, so um it was pulling really dark on camera. But it's like a deep burgundy, color and uh excuse the makeup missile from my forehead, i literally glued on, like two weeks before i did this tutorial. This is my last tutorial of the day, but because i knew i was throwing a headband over my big ass forehead, i decided to do this one last, so i know that my makeup looks crazy by my forehead because it's missing so mind your business. So now i'm just going in with the fabulous curling iron. This is the one and a half inch and i'm just going to go around, throw some big curls in i like to typically start like in the back section or the middle section top. It really just depends to be honest and i'm just working my way from side to side, so i either do left to right or right to left and i just throw them in randomly. I try to curl away from the face, but i like to do like a couple figure eights on the top. All my cosmetology students know what i'm talking about and then i like to just do that, just to add a little bit of volume. The last thing i'm going to do is just put a headband over top of the headband that comes on the wig and, like i said, just scrunch it up making sure that you cover that, and i decided to go with this burgundy-ish red color just to bring Out the red more in my unit, you can kind of see it a little bit better on camera on the top, but for some reason my lighting, i might just have to readjust it, but the it's burning. You see it's burgundy, so i'm just making sure that everything is covered and i'm also covering the straps in the back and then i'm just going to finesse on camera for a few seconds to show you guys the end result um again.
