Diy Crochet Headband Wig

What'S up everybody i'm serena k and i hope that you guys are having an amazing day in today's video i'm going to be showing you how i make my uh crochet headband wig and i'm using the freetress crochet yaki here. So i did half of the head off camera um, but here it is here i am going getting a little bit closer to the front. What i did was try this i tried to keep the hair, maybe about an inch or inch and a half apart from each other only because the hair is actually pretty thick. Yes, it's straight, but it's pretty thick and it's pretty dense um. So i didn't want to have too much hair it'll be too bulky, so i just spread them apart and then i also try to cover about two or three holes at a time, so that helps too so, as you can see, i kind of got started on The um the line of the headband, but i want to do an invisible part. So, unlike the other ones, i you will want to have the hair a little bit smaller. So what you do is you're going to have to cut off the little band that loops. The hair, and then you split the hair in half so you're, going to use half pieces instead of one whole piece. So what you do is you slide it under, like you normally would hook close the latch slide it under, except you don't pull all the hair out. What i do is i take about a quarter bit of the hair, not even half but like a quarter bit just enough to keep a stable knot, and i pull the knot underneath and tighten it as bits as i can, and then i fold it over. Okay, you guys so this is the finished product i just trying to touch them. I got ta touch up a little bit in there, but it can. I can hide it if i put actual headband um. Yes, this is where the headband goes. If you want to put like a different one um, i didn't just - i just didn't feel like putting one on, but yes this is it. So this is what it looks like from behind and it's pretty um pretty good length. It'S absolutely comfortable. I love it. I'M so glad that this is my first crochet wig that i like made on my own there's a freetress pre-loop yaki straight um 16 inch, and i used to wear this hair a lot. When i wear the crochets, i don't really wear crochet braids anymore. I'Ve kind of ventured out into the wig world now, but i had a whole bunch of hair. I mean like four packs, three or four packs of like just hair just sitting in my closet and i'm like. I just want to use it up. So i'm going to like, let me try and make like a demo or as an experiment on making my first crochet wig and i'm i'm shocked at how good it came out like honestly, if i would have hopped on like the wig train earlier, i wouldn't even Be bothered with wearing the actual crochet braids um, because it's just it's it's it's so convenient it's comfortable and the cap has holes, so i don't have to worry about being extra hot. This is a lot of hair, so i do feel the heat, but still i think it works great for like winter time is. The headband is also good on your edges, i mean to me i would say it's like a 10 out of 10.. I love it. Absolutely love it um. I do have another full wig, like an actual lace wig. I think this will be more of like a going to work wig. You know because it's it's just more comfortable um than the lace wig. So this is my new work wig. For now uh i might try and do a curly hair wig or order one i'll either make one or order one, whichever one i will make a like review or video on it.
