The Best Protective Style? | Headband Wig

So, as you can see, my edges are looking real crusty right now, but in today's video i'm going to be showing you guys how i install my headband wig, because girl is not going on. I'M going to be showing you guys how i install this baby here. She doesn't have a name yet i'm thinking like nina i'm going to show you i'm going to show you how i install nina, let's get into the video so now that i've already ripped the wig off my head. This is what i have underneath can y'all see. I have a spandex cap. You can also use a wig cap, but today i'm using a spandex cap. My hair is in like okay, so what i've got going on here, my hair is in like two french braids, i washed it deep conditioned. Did all that like yesterday? I think it was yesterday, so my hair isn't like too fresh braids doesn't have to be anything special and then i have my spandex cap here and throw that sucker on there for the headband wig. It does come. It'S literally a wig attached to a headband that you could put another headband on top. If you want to like switch the headbands, you can kind of like push it back so that your edge yourself, so that your edges are showing. So it looks a little more natural if you know what i mean, so i'm going to do my edges. Oh, these are the two things that i use to do my edges. Um. I don't use them at the same time i kind of like alternate. It doesn't really depend on anything, but i'm kind of running out of this one, but this one here, listen, i'm gon na cover the bottom, because it's dirty. But what is this focus? But this here girl my edges: they don't go nowhere. They are frozen like so. This is going to be using and one of these brush one of these things with the cone an edge brush yeah. This stuff is messy, though so, and i'm running out, but listen this edge control here or it's it's basically like gel. So it's got like alcohol in it and stuff, but as long as you wash your edges, you know as long as you don't leave it in there for too long chef's kiss, but only this color bottle because they have some other colors and one of them smells Like toothpaste, those suck, but this one here bomb, i'm just gon na go ahead and put that on there do y'all see my highlight: i'm look: okay, yeah! I don't do anything too crazy. With my edges, i kind of just do like two swoops or whatever you know just some swoops, some swoops can y'all see. I look like a ghost, then you're gon na put the spandex cap over. You know on your hair just so that all the hair is like slicked back into it. I forgot to show y'all what the other edge control i used was. It'S just got to be glue. You know the ones that you use to show it. You y'all know this just the ones that you used to like do your wigs with it has like the same hold like that super strong hold. The wig that i have is from aaron 21 wigs i'll put their link in this in the description down below okay, i flip the camera around so that you can see what i'm doing. This literally takes like two seconds. All you're gon na do is take the velcro that comes. This is the back of the wig undo it boom and line up the headband line up the headband with your hairline then secure the velcro in the back. Yeah, do the velcro in the back and make sure everything is on there and boom where's the top. This wig does come with clips, but i do opt out from using them just because i feel like they kind of. I don't need that security like if this wig falls off. I will be okay side note. My wigs have came off in public before and you know what i did put it right back on. I have no shame nine times out of ten people know it's not your real hair and ten times out of ten. Nobody cares. I don't have a problem with it falling off by accident. So if it does, it is what it is. So i just put the spandex cap underneath so i can moisturize my hair, let it marinate you know, put some oil make. It feel good and then slap the wig on top. So the last step is, let me get it. The last step is you're just going to style the actual wig itself in this spray bottle. I have some water and this sleeping conditioner focus this leave-in conditioner by tgin, which is a bomb, and it smells good they're, not paying me, but she did what she had to do. Chris tia donaldson, you did what you had to do: water, leaving conditioner in a spray bottle and i'm just gon na spritz it just because this hair is like a deep wave like a curly situation. So water and moisture is the way to go. Can y'all see it? You see like the curls, but honestly this is one of the best, if not the best protective hairstyle, that you could possibly even have like it's better than a regular wig, because you don't have to use any lace glue or anything that can damage your hairline. So you can keep your edges as a matter of fact. You don't even have to do your edges for this style. You could literally just leave them but yeah the best protective hairstyle, because it actually gives your hair a chance to grow. Underneath, like you, don't have to touch it, you don't have to put heat on it. All you got to do is moisturize your hair underneath and throw it on. So i'm telling y'all. If you buy a few of these wigs and wear them pretty consistently, you know as a protective hairstyle, your hair will grow like it's, not it's literally science. It'S a fact: it's not even a if your hair will grow. If you wear these 10 out of 10, i definitely recommend a headband wig, and actually this hair from this company is also pretty good, like i've had no issues with it. It it tangles like regular hair like if this were to be on someone's head, but putting the water and the leave-in conditioner and just going through it perfectly fine, and it doesn't shed a lot. It doesn't really shut at all anybody that asked me if they should buy a headband wig. The answer is yes put it in your cart. Hit order. Put in your cart information. Have it sent to your house, buy it put it on wear it. Watch your hair grow, i'm telling you i kind of like to get it wet like a little past damp, but not soaking wet, but i'm able to comb through it or brush through it. This is this. Is my raggedy denim brush? Don'T look at it because i tried to use it to blow dry, my hair and i melted the the sticks, but yeah you can go through it and the last step is i'm going to be using this mousse that i stole from my mom's bathroom. But this is design essential, design, essentials mousse, it's pretty good and it smells good and i'm just gon na go ahead and it might look a little thin now, but listen when it dries. It'S huge well, not huge, but it's big bigger than this. So now i'm just gon na let it dry and i'll be back to show you guys what it looks like why my eyes look like this like the emoji okay, but yeah, when it dries i'll, be back to show you guys what i'm looking like when it's Dry but it's cute while it's wet many hours later, okay guys. So this is how it looks much dry. Can you see it yeah? It just got some volume. You know some blue, so it also came with two headbands, but you can interchange it for any headband. That you choose i'm trying to figure. This is like one of those that like does like a little knot in the middle, but yeah you can layer like any headband that you want on top of it. I don't really like that one, but it came with the yellow one. I like the other one. This is the other one see. This is how the other one was supposed to look with the knot. I don't know what happened, but ah me trying to avoid getting my makeup on it. What i like this yellow one, much better super cute, literally can't even tell it's a wig.
