You guys welcome back to my channel, it's girl, jim rodriguez. I know it's been a minute, but i am back with another hair review. This time we are reviewing a beautiful wig from petal wigs, so we're fading the rhythm, all right, y'all, let's go ahead and get into this review, so you know the first thing that we do is we kind of do a little unboxing now my unboxing is different Because i actually watched the wig before doing this review, i watched it last night and we'll kind of talk about wig, hair and hair care in a moment. But i'm just going to take you on a quick tour of this queen and let you know who we got going on for today. So this again is from petal wigs. This is the 18 inch body wave heavyweight, so we've got our headband. Obviously, now what i like about it so far, y'all is the velcro is a little different than normal velcros. I don't know if you can see it, but it's a little bit more shiny. So i feel like it's just different. It'S just different velcro, i'm like okay, not the same. You know regular morning, looking velcro that i see sometimes um. This is like really good velcro so far and then on the inside. It has two combs kind of at the top. It has a comb in the middle, it's like an extra secure comb there and then a comb in the back. I'M going to put this on in a minute, but i'm going to show you what else came in this bag, all right, y'all, so in our bag. We got a couple things all right, so in the bag we actually got a weaving cap, which is a little different than normal wig cap. I'M gon na show y'all real quick. I don't think i'll actually use it, but this is more of a mesh cap. What the heel is what i do like about it is i like to use bobby pins to secure my um wigs, because, as you know, i have a really small head, so this actually has some room for me to do that if i was wearing a normal Wig cap, i would not be able to really use a bobby pin without ruining it so kudos to petal wigs thinking ahead. I'M like - and i like that, all right, so it also came with a couple different headbands, this leopard headband and then also came with a mustard, yellow, headband. So a couple different types for me to try. So these look like some mink, lashes, nice and long i'll have to try it the next time. Okay, i already did my makeup for today, so we're not gon na. Do it again and then also came with this comb, all right, y'all. So now that we've done our unboxing we've taken a tour of this queen, let's go ahead and put it on so what i did i'm going to try something different. I actually did a live with a headband wig a few days ago, and they really liked what i did, and so i'm gon na do it with this wig here, and that is try a couple different styles that might be good for valentine's day. So i know valentine's day is coming up. These can be used. Of course, these styles can be used, of course, for any time of year, or you know any time that you have something going on, but i kind of wanted to dress it up a little bit. Not that my other styles weren't dressed up, but i'm going to try something a little different to see how we can add some versatility to these headband wigs that i keep getting okay. So what i did was the rest of my hair is blow-dried, but i left the front out and parted it in the middle and i flat ironed that part. So i am just going to braid the back all right, y'all we're just going zip it up through this, so i'm gon na go ahead and put the wig on, like i said i washed it the night before this is. This is straight up washed and air. Dried hair: this is the texture you're gon na get really cute nice body, wave, nice and shiny. There was a little bit of shedding going on, but if you haven't seen my video on how i wash all of my wigs and extensions, i will link it somewhere around here. It'Ll, be in my description box. That'S how i wash all of my wigs. So i'm going to do some flat iron curls. You know that's like my favorite right now and they're quick and easy for my curls, i'm going to start with a little bit of oil, not a whole lot, i'm just going to do like a pump just that much take it away. Take it away feeling too good to me all right, so i am going to use um bumble and bumble. This is a thermal protection mist. This is their honey. Protective complex, protects against heat and repairs. Damage for a healthy globe really really good. I just can't stop thinking about you all right. You guys i am loving these curls. They came out really really good, holding really good. So let's go ahead and get into these styles. I don't wan na talk before the moment. Remedy. Looking is okay, you guys, so that is my video for today. I hope you enjoyed the just couple of styles. I showed you, some of it again can be casual. Some of it can be semi-formal again. It wasn't super perfect because you know i use like a little bit bigger of a flat iron. I was going more for beach wavy at first and then i decided to kind of switch it up, so you can use a tighter curling iron, like i said, for some of the more updos if you want, but overall i love this hair. Here are my final thoughts about it as far as headband wigs are concerned, this is probably one of my top three i'm not gon na lie. It'S it's a really, really good wig. I love the hair. The length is perfect for just an everyday type of length. I really really like it a lot. The hair feels really good. It feels soft washing it first definitely helped, because when it came, you know it. It was a little suspect at first. It didn't feel bad, but this feels much better, so i would definitely recommend washing it first. Some of the things that i um about was it seems like it's made, to go a certain way so when i would try to put it up in a ponytail, some of the hairs just ended up misplaced a lot, and it probably just had to be that Way in order for it to be a heavy, wig and work, you know pretty much wherever you wanted it to be, so that was a little tricky to work around. When i tried to do like a lot of the styles, it was just really stiff right here. So it was hard for me to kind of navigate it um other than that i mean it. It seemed to go up in ponytails, okay, but, like any other headband wig, it just started to move. So i wish i had like that extra band in the middle or something else to make it a little bit more secure. I personally would have liked that, because my head is small and if i try to restyle it, it's just going to move all over the place, so i had to reposition a lot and those combs baby. They pretty much did nothing for me after a while. So i was like all right. I can't really do a whole lot with it like in one day, but it seems to hold pretty okay. I just know for me: i need to bobby, pin it and probably braid it down a little bit better so that i can secure it and like have it not move around so much. That'S just that's just me, but it overall, very, very good wig. Definitely my top three. When it comes to headband wigs you all. Let me know what you think in the comments.
