Headband Wig Review + How I Prep And Style My Wig / Easy Protective Style | Luvme Hair

It'S so cute, hey friends, welcome back to my channel. I hope you all are doing well staying blessed and staying healthy in today's video. As you can see by the title, we have a little treat happening. Okay, we're trying something a little different. I ordered myself a wig. More specifically, i ordered a headband wig from love me hair. So this is what it looks like. So i'm going to be doing a demos and review of this wig that i bought, but before we hop into it, if you are new welcome, my name is kyla audrey. So this is the wig. This is the box that it came in it's so cute. It'S my favorite color purple, as you can tell okay, first of all, cute okay. So when we open it, this is what it looks like and it says, enjoy your hair journey from now on, and this is what it looks like so first they gave me a bunch of really cute headband. So let's open it. Oh these are cute okay. So this is one. This is another one, it's kind of a different style. Oh it's supposed to be twisted, so this one looks like this and then this one is like this. Oh this one has like a little knot in the front. These are all so cute and we got a little army one cute. Then they also. What is this this little bag? First of all, is so cute. I'M gon na use this for something i don't know what let me use it. Oh okay, so they gave like an elastic that i can sew on some bobby pins. You can never have too many bobby pins. So that's cute, oh wow! This is so cool guys. I was not expecting all of this to come with it. They gave an edge brush. I need another one of these. You can never have too many tweezers i'll. Take it oh and a little clip that says, love me that is so cute, i'm obsessed with this bag and then what is this? Oh, okay! So it's a headband that you can like tie, but it like has a wire in it and it bends that's cool. They also gave a wig cap. They just sent a little pamphlet that has um how to care for the wig, how to use the wig and frequently asked questions. So this is very helpful. It also has a return and refund policy all right now for the exciting part. So this is the wig. This is what it looks like again in this beautiful purple bag and we're just gon na open it. Of course, it has a net on it to keep it together. So this is the wig that i got. I don't remember which texture this is so i'll. Just put it right here on the screen, because i don't remember out of hand, but it's a curly one and it's very soft. It has that like new wig smell, so that's not a big deal, and it also has clips in here um. I'M not gon na use the clips, because i found that these really kind of like rip out your hair, so i'm definitely not going to use that the the strap should be enough but yeah. This is what it looks like. I'M so excited i'm going to wash the wig and i will show you guys how i do that and then we're gon na put it on we foreign foreign, so all right, hey y'all, so i just finished washing the wig. So i just wanted to pop back in here real quick to show you what i'm gon na do afterwards. So, first of all, this is how much shedding i got um. I don't know if this is normal or not, but this is what it is. So just so you're aware um, and this is what the hair is looking like. So now, i'm just going to add some product to it. So it's not super dry. So i'm going to be adding my leave-in conditioner now y'all know this is my favorite, so i'm not going to use too much because i want to waste my product on this, but um, i'm just gon na rub it in and, as you can see, it's getting Kind of like poofy on just this side over here, which is kind of weird - i don't know if it's because it's already drying right there or what but i'm gon na, get my brush all right. So i'm just gon na gently comb through and i don't want the curls to be super perfect. So i guess it's, okay, that it's getting a little poofy. I just don't want it to be a complete frizz ball and i did run into like a few knots when i was washing it. So that's just another fyi all right. So this is what it looks like and now i'm just gon na add some of my style cream and i'm focusing on the end part, because that's where it's getting the most frizzy and i'm just gon na add some to the top as well. I am getting more shedding, as i'm just like running my fingers down. So that's just something to note. It does shed it's like really tangled in this one part right here, so i don't know what that's about so now we got the product all in there. I'M just gon na let it air dry until tomorrow and i'll be back to show you guys what it's looking like. But this is how it looks so far again. This side is really poofy and like shrinking up more than this part right here. So i'm just gon na keep an eye on that see what that's about, but yeah i'll, see y'all tomorrow, all right, hey, y'all, so it's the next day and i'm gon na be putting on the wig. So here it is. This is what it's looking like after it has dried, and i did have to put it under my hooded dryer for a little bit and that's mainly because the band itself was still wet from when i washed it. It'S still a little damp, but um we're just gon na work with it. So this is what it looks like. The curls are nice and defined, and it has a lot of volume, so i'm excited um right now. I just have my hair tied up just to set my edges in place and i'm just going to go ahead and get this cap ready. Okay, so we're not going to leave it like this. Obviously, let me go ahead and push this back okay. So this is what it looks like just plopped on now. Obviously, i'm going to style it to fit my face and shape, so i just want to show you guys. It'S like really oddly shaped right now, but this is what it looks like. I think it looks pretty natural okay, so i'm just going to handle one side at a time, and i remember this was the side that was like getting all poofy and shrunken. Like i showed you, then this is the side that wasn't so. You can definitely see the difference which is so weird, but we're just gon na go with it. So i'm just gon na spray this down and i'm gon na be adding my favorite mousse by the dew. This is what it looks like. I actually want this side to frizz up a little bit more, but it's literally not doing the same thing. So i'm confused. It'S like this bottom section, what the heck all right. So this is what it looks like. I actually really like it. I'M just confused as to why there's different textures on each side, but i think i just need to play with it a little bit more. I might trim some hold on. I think over time i'll do layers, but i think i'm going to leave it for now and see how it ends up looking, but i do just want to try it on with one of the headbands. Oh it's cute, it's so cute! I, like it alright, so that is the end of this video. I really hope you all enjoyed and um. I will keep you guys updated on how i like this hair as time goes on, but as for right now, i'm pretty satisfied. I probably just need to shape it up a little bit better to fit my face.
