Easy Protective Style For Thin Edges/Alopecia! Kinky Coily 4C Headband Wig W/ Bangs | Hergivenhair

Hey my loves, welcome back to my channel, thank you so much for stopping by here again today, happy new year to everyone watching this video. Thank you so much for the support that i've been guessing on my channel. I really do appreciate it guys, so today's video is a collaboration with her giving hair. This is the second time i'm working with this company guys and the first wig that i reviewed from them has been my go-to wig and when i tell you guys that she still looks amazing like take it from me, her giving hair is that company. If you don't know about her, giving hair hair given hair is basically a company that caters to natural hair, textured wigs. If you're looking for 4c to 3a tap texture, then her giving hair is that company, like they really do get the texture of natural hair um. So this unit that i'm wearing currently is from her giving hair and before i get into the specs of this unit, i'll just like to show you guys the packaging that um the unit came in and if you're wondering why. My background is a bit different. I'M currently in ghana, i'm here on vacation, but you know i'm still going to make videos anyways so yeah. This is a temporary background, guys um so yeah. This is the box that it came in your standard, um, hair, giving hair box. However, i did receive this unit around christmas period, so it was wrapped in like this christmas ribbon thing going on. I believe i made a video of it so i'll insert the clip, so you guys can see how it was packaged, but inside the box first thing i saw was this cute little headband that reminds me of christmas. It'S a bit too late to wear this now, but i can save this for next christmas, so yeah. This is very cute and also i got the unit, of course, in a plastic bag, and they also sent the description, the product description on this uh paper. I don't know if i mentioned, but this is actually a headband wig. I know it doesn't look like one, but this is a headband wig with bangs, as you can see, and it does have. Brown highlights uh at the bottom, so this unit is called brown. Your coils and they do have this exact unit, but as a closure. So this is a headband wig and if you're not familiar with headband wigs they're, basically wigs that don't have lace, uh or any form of closure and um, they come with combs. So i believe this unit has three combs at the front and then one comb at the back and also the velcro as fastening. Now this material is um uh. What'S this material called, i forgot the name of the material, but i noticed that on the inside. It'S a different material, so the inside is like cotton. Whilst this is, i think, spandex, i'm not sure, but yeah. I think it's very important that um, the inner part of the material is edge friendly. So because this unit, you don't have to have your edges out, which i think is absolutely amazing, with other headband wigs, sometimes you do have to have a little bit of edges out. You know just to have that swoop situation going on to make it look a lot more natural, but this unit, guys like nothing, is out like this is the definition of a protective style guys now you'll see later on in the video i typically wash my curly Units but um, i just wanted to try something different this time, so i didn't wash this unit. I just used some water and conditioner, and then i brushed out the unit, because i just realized that not everybody has the time to wash their curly units and let it dry for a whole day. So with this unit, you actually don't need to wash it. You can just do exactly what i did and you're still going to get this gorgeous curls going on right here. So the box came with a bunch of headbands like i said it is a headband wig and i'm going to be styling the units with the headbands later on in the video. So please keep on watching. So i received four headbands with this unit and the first is this: animal print, uh, crisscross, headband and then the next is this black one. I feel like this is your everyday standard type of headband. So thank you for sending me this and you also get um this. I don't know what this is called, but it basically helps you put the units in like a pineapple or you know one of those updos yeah, that's how she looks and it has her giving hair on it right here, oops all right, and then they also sent Me a satin scarf. You know this pattern is absolutely gorgeous guys like yes, the box also came with um some extra combs and i do have to give it a hair given here, because i'm currently using the combs and i feel no tension guys. Personally, i don't like using combs, because sometimes i feel like they could pull on your hair, but i'm currently using all the four combs and i feel zero tension. So shout out her giving hair for saving and protecting our edges and last but not the least, the box also came with a black satin bag to store your headband wigs, so yeah guys, that's basically all the box came with. I don't know if i mentioned, but this unit is in a length 16 and the density is um. Okay, it doesn't specify the density, but i would definitely include it in the description box um it's a 3c to 4a type texture. However, i feel like, as a 4c girl, i could easily get away with this wig guys. I love how the coils are not like super defined. At the same time, it's not like extra frizzy like it's just it's a blend of frizz and definition. If that makes sense, so that makes it look a lot more natural and the cap size is a small, so yeah guys, that's basically it. I will go ahead and style this unit.
