Sugar Plum 99J Affordable Headband Wig Review | Swoop Bang Half Up Half Down | Ft. Luvme Hair

Hey guys welcome back to my youtube channel in today's video. I am collaborating with love me hair. They sent me this 18 inch like cherry cherry red burgundy, color, wig i'll. Have it linked down below this is a headband wig, so um they just wanted to send it to me. So i can wear it and test it out and show you guys what i think so um. This is actually my first time receiving hair from love me hair, just off this unit alone, because i haven't tried any of the other wigs. I am thoroughly thoroughly impressed like i had got this headband wig and it is so full. It'S the fullest headband wig that i have received thus far like as far as straight goes, and it's so so full and let me tell y'all the color of this wig is so pretty like. Do y'all see that color? It'S so pretty. Like i love this. This is perfect, fall, color, hair and i'm definitely feeling it um it's a little bit. You know different from what i would normally wear, but i'm not mad at it and i actually really like it so um. I just wanted to you know tell you guys. First review it and then i'll show you guys how i did this swoop. Look with the half up, half down um. So first, i just want to say that this wig is super soft super full the color came and it is like an absolute beautiful color and i am in love with this color. It didn't shed, as i was styling it, and it's super bouncy super full super shiny, super soft, like yeah, i'm not just saying this because they sent me this wig. I absolutely am impressed with it. The packaging on this hair is a1, like it's. This beautiful purple box, and then they give you a ton of stuff that comes with the wig. They gave me this little pouch, which is super cute because i can use. I can put this in my purse and have it in case. I need to. You know put my edge brush, so they sent me an edge brush. You have a scarf, i guess it's like to lay down your edges and elastic bands and like even a little clip i like that, but um they sent this little clip cute. Clip that says, can y'all see that it says love me on it and rhinestones super cute, some bobby pins, and these are the good ones, not the little cheap ones and even a little tweezers in this little package. It'S like your whole little wig, utensil that you need right here, one two, three, four: five different headbands: they sense uh, two wig caps. But, most importantly, what you want to be impressed with is the wig and you guys you will not be let down. If you purchase this wig, i can't speak for their other wigs. I have to try more from them and hopefully i will in the future, but this wig right here. I love it, love it love, it love it and i hope you guys love it too. So in the next clip, i'm just going to be showing you how i did this swoop, um, half up, half down look, and i hope you guys enjoy it if you do remember to give this video a thumbs up and subscribe while you're watching so here i Just want to show you guys how the hair looks freshly out of the box. It is this beautiful body wave pattern and it is very full you guys, as i mentioned in the beginning, it has lots of hair on it and it's not thin at all. Here'S how the inside construction looks it has four combs and this band that helps keep the wig on okay. So on to the hairstyle, i have parted out the front of my hair from the tip of my ear onto the other side of the tip of my ear, and the back of my head is just in braids. So i'm just going to prep my hair to be blow dried and flat iron, so i'm going to wet it back up before applying my heat protectant products. This i just feel like it helps absorb in my hair better, so i'm gon na wet it first. So i'm gon na be using some of this fantasia's frizz busters um, just to smooth out my hair, then on top of that, i'm going to be using some of this ic heat protectant spray always use your heat protectant before you put any heat on your hair. It'S just going to help create a barrier between your hair and the heat, and then i'm just going to take my blow dryer and stretch out my hair. So that way, i create a good base for when i want a flat ironing for when i want to flat iron it, because, if you're natural, you know you need to stretch out the hair before you put that straightener on it, because if not it's just going To be a poofy mess, so i set my flat iron to 410 degrees just because it i don't have to like press it out all the way, because normally i would put it like 4 30, but um. So i'm just gon na flat iron, my hair and get it straight, so i can swoop it up in this bang. Okay! So now that my hair is flat ironed, i'm gon na start parting, the swoop part out to how i want it to - and i just do like this curved part um just because i think it's cute and that's how i see other people doing it. So i'm just going to make a curved part in the front now that i have my part ready, i'm going to start molding that swoop bang by just you know, taking my comb and you know brushing it in that direction that i want, while also spraying some Of the um freeze spray, what you want to do is you want to spray the freeze, spray and then kind of let it dry a little bit because it's with the blow dryer, because it's not going to stay molded down when you first spray it because this Stuff is still going to be wet. You kind of want it to be just a little bit dry to the point where you can still mold it like it's, not crunchy dry, but it's starting to stick and that's when you're gon na be able to mold it. The best, i guess i didn't record myself doing it, but you want to place a bobby pin in the back just to keep that swoop in place. Then right here you just see me kind of brushing out my sideburns, because i sprayed a little bit of freeze spray on them. Just to you know, have them stay in place and now on to the other side, i'm going to take my freeze spray and start to mold that how i want it to i want it to be like a little bit of baby hair swoops on the side. So i'm just going to swoop that accordingly and just mold it the same way. I did the other side by spraying the freeze braid, letting it dry a little bit and to the point where it gets sticky and then just keep molding it until i like how it looks after i like how it looks i'm going to take my bobby pin And place that in the back of my head just to secure it and keep it laid down, and here i'm just showing you how my swoop looks after i have laid it down with the freeze spray and it's all molded. Now i'm going to place the wig on and, as you can see, it does have a dark root, which is why i thought that i could leave my real hair out, which i still could. But i wish the root went down darker just a little bit further. So that i could, you know, match it more with this. Look if you're more particular about that you can actually just take some semi permanent hair, color and spray it a little bit upwards. But i was not doing all that so now that i have the wig secured on my head. I'M just going to take the top portion and put it up in a ponytail. Then i'm just going to take my curling iron and start to curl the hair. I wanted, i didn't straighten it first, because i wanted to leave this body that they had going on with this wig. This wig is so full y'all and it had lots and lots of body. So i just wanted to curl the hair and still have that bouncy body. Look, i'm just going to go ahead and curl the hair and show you guys after it's done after i'm done. Curling all the hair, i'm just going to take my brush and kind of brush out the curls, so that they're not so tight. Then i'm going to take this headband that i already owned and cover up the elastic band that comes with the wig then. Lastly, i'm just going to take a piece of hair and wrap it around the ponytail holder. So that way it um hides that ponytail holder and i'm just going to spray a little bit of freeze spray right there and blow dry it so it'll stay in place. All right you guys so here is the finished look. This is such a cute, half up half down swoop, bang 90s inspired hair! Look, i absolutely love it and i hope you guys love it too. I just think this hair color is so so pretty and it'll be so pretty on different skin complexions, so um just try it out and see how you like it.
