Hey guys welcome and welcome back again to my channel, i am velgresos and in this channel we'll create videos surrounding hair, which is what you're watching right now sewing, which is another thing i'm actually interested in and vlogs as well just documents in my daily life and If one of all of these are things you're interested in, then this is the channel for you, so for this video right here we're going to be showing how to create this curly fringe um headband wig. So if this is something you're interested in, then please stay and watch okay, okay, guys so for this you'll be needing a pack of attachments, and this one is the green colored attachments and what you want to do is cut the attachment into three. So that's cut in three and after cutting it into three you'd want to start feathering it guys. I got the name right today, you're going to want to feather it like so so after you're done feathering it like this. This is one batch you just want to brush it to make sure that it is tangle, free and you're, going to be needing your wig cap for this as well. So this is the wig cap. I'M using you could use any wig cap of your choice, but this is the one i prefer to use because it just stays well on my head, and it is also lightweight in a way. So after doing that, you want to create a knot at the center right there, because that has a loose end there. So you want to create that and cut off the excess and for this you'll be needing your headband, of course, and i made this head by myself, but there is no video on how i made it guys. I'M sorry i am just placing it where i would want the head um the headband to be at because i remember i said we're going to be making a fringe headband wig um. So i'm just going to place it there, but i am not going to sew at the moment. This is just going to be a mark to know where to crochet on. After doing that, you want to start crocheting like so so as usual, if you're, if you're, not new to my channel, you know that i like to double loop. My attachments, when i am crocheting is just for double security, so i'm just going to show you one more time, so that's basically taking in the crochet and put it like. So put your attachment, put it in the hole like there put it again in the hole, and that is basically what double looping is so guys. This is basically what it is looking like so far as you can see, i'm not um. You know making the strands too big for this right here and the reason why i showed it does because, as i kept on progressing, i would brush it just to make sure that it was tangle free, it's just easier that way for me, but i mean, i Guess you could do whatever you want, if that is what you're comfortable with, if you want to brush it after you're done crocheting, that's totally fine, but this is just what works well for me in order for it not to be all tangled up so guys if You'Ve gotten to this point of the video i know we're not even halfway yet thank you so much. I really do appreciate it and don't forget to give this video a big thumbs up if you like it so far. Another way i don't crochet it's in the back of where the headband is or where the headband stops at we're going to start in front. So as you, if you notice, when we're crocheting the back, we're crocheting um downwards at the back, so we're basically doing the same thing in front but we're crocheting downwards in front. I hope that makes sense, but if it doesn't like, i hope you can see what i'm talking about. Don'T know where you are. It'S been way too long laid down so guys after i don't question the front as well. This is what it should look like. Okay, so, like i said i like to go in with the brush to just brush it and make sure it is tangle, free, as and so as well and after doing that, this is the next step to create the curls and for this process guys we're going To be doing a bantu knot and basically a bantu knot is just you twisting your strand and just wrapping it around the strand itself. That'S basically what a banter knot is in my own easy explanation. So, as you can see, i am twisting the strand clockwise like so this is this is what works well for me, there are some people that i think like to twist it anti-clockwise, but i always gravitate towards twisting it clockwise, like you can see me do, and I twist to a certain length before i start wrapping the hair around itself. I'M just going to show you that in a bit so, as you can see miss doing and as i'm wrapping the bantu knot, you'd always want to make sure that you're wrapping it from the bottom. As you can see, you wouldn't want to start wrapping your bantu knot from the top because, as you wrap it from the bottom, the previously wrapped one or rather the newly wrapped one is going to be under the previously wrapped one. As you can see, and as you are wrapping needs, you are twisting as well when you get to the point where the hair is becoming loose, you start twisting, like you can see me do, then you keep wrapping it that i will see you soon. Oh there's not much to do so guys after you're done taking your time to wrap it. This is what the bantu knot should look like, so you're going to do the same thing again to the entire um strands on your hair like so, it's been way too long so guys, so this bantu knot, i didn't go in with a small size section and I didn't go in with a big size section. I went in with a medium size section in my own opinion, so just putting that out there you could do the you could make it bigger than these or you could make it smaller than this. But just know that, if you're making it smaller than this, it's going to be a lot of worry, because this took me quite a while to actually complete. I think the twisting to making out the bantu knot itself took almost half an hour or almost an hour to make so yeah, and that was just creating the banter, not alone, so just putting that out there. So guys. If you got into this point of the video, thank you - and please don't forget to like this video, don't forget to share it as well and leave me a comment in the comment section as well. So this is what it is looking like and guys i put it um after this um. I went to put it in hot water, but i didn't show that so. That is why it's looking like this, because i put it in hot water and i removed the headband because, like i told you, we did not sew the headband onto the wig cap itself. It was just a guideline for where the the crochet would start and stop at so now. This is me basically unraveling the bantu knot and since we actually wrapped it, clockwise you're going to be unraveling. It anti-clockwise, and this is what it will look like so yeah and so guys in order for you to unravel the curls, because you know that um. So now, basically, what i'm doing is putting the headband, where i want it to be again, because i'm going to start sewing that on and another reason why i didn't sew in the headband before um before anything else was because we need to dip this in hot Water - and i didn't want the headband to be so wet, so it doesn't end up prolonging the um drying process since i tend to air dry my wheels so guys after you're done sewing in the headband onto the wig cap. You would want to unravel this. So another one thing i like to do is i like to use cold water, because you know we use hot water to create the curls. So you don't want to use hot water when you're unraveling it you want to use cold water. It just makes the unraveling process easier, and it also makes sure that your curl pattern doesn't get disrupted when you are unraveling it, because if you do unravel it, when it is dry, the curl pattern would be there, but the chances of it being so defined might Be slim so that is why i tend to use cold water most of the time or sometimes so guys after using the cold water needs um, you don't want to unravel it. As you could see, i was unraveling it or i was twisting it anti-clockwise, since we twisted it clockwise when we were creating the bantu knot. So when you are unraveling it you'd want to first um twist it anticlockwise. It makes it easier for you to unravel the corals like you can see me just because if you imagine me trying to unravel it, while it was still twisted the way, it was trust me guys it would be a total mess and it's just be a total Flop as well so you'd want to put that into consideration, as you can see, i'm twisting it anti-clockwise before unraveling it and, as you can see, because of the water i put in the curls, are still staying intact. Now we're gon na wan na go back so guys. Another thing i forgot to mention is that um, because the tip was a bit tangled up, i just um clipped it away before um unraveling, because, first of all, we do not need that on the tip there and we're going to still trim a bit. So i was just like: well, it's fine, so guys this is what it's going to look like after you're done, unraveling everything and now we're just going to do the same thing to the front so like i was saying um since i tend to clip the tip. First, it just makes it easier for me when i'm unraveling too, and besides, like i said we do not need the tips as well and, as you could see me, do i use the cold water first to make it easier for me to unravel and after putting The cold water putting the attachments in the cold water. I twisted it anti-clockwise because you remember when we're twisting it we're twisting it clockwise to create the bandsaw notes. Then i unravel the curls, so yeah, and after doing that, i am just trimming this because guys, i feel like if you watch my videos a lot, especially my hair videos, because i feel like i have different audiences for different videos, and that is fine. If you watch my hair videos, especially the ones where i tend to trim, you know how much i love trimming hair, since i can't do that to my natural hair, so yeah, i'm basically trimming it to my desired shape and length. So after trimming, the back i'm going to start trimming the front and for the front i, since it was a bit longer, i started trimming like so then, after which i went with the scissors upwards and just started trimming like so that way it doesn't give the Tip that blonde - and it would if you, if you are just you, know, use it the normal way. You use your scissors so guys. This is what it is. Looking like, after you're done with all the process, let me know what you think. I love how bouncy this wig was guys or this week is it's so so bouncy and so movable. So one thing i feel like i should have done differently was: maybe we shortened the shortened the length of the headband itself because it was a bit long, but that's so fine, because i can adjust it by just putting that out there and yeah. This is basically what it is looking like. What do you think about it? Don'T forget to leave me a comment in the comment section letting me know what you think about this week right here, and i really do appreciate it if you've gotten to this point of the video already do not forget to like share comment, and, lastly, don't forget To subscribe, if you do like this video because i'll be putting out more video contents like this, and if you like my sewing videos as well all my vlogs, then this is the channel for you.
